Reeva is turning into a Hate Sink pretty quickly. Hope Lorna tears her head off.

The Purifiers seemed almost too authentic. I don't mean that as a criticism of the episode, but of these kinds of hate groups.
One criticism I have for the show as a whole is it has so many good ideas that they never seem to hone in on and fully develop.
As comic book shows go, I find this to be pretty good. Maybe not as great as Black Lightning, but right up there. Still, there are some troubling story developments, of a Dragon Age 2 variety. For those unfamiliar, DA 2 suffered from the writers trying to create a morally complex situation, but going waaaaay overboard, to the point that the most common reaction was that both sides were either so monstrous or so incompetent in the use of their power that both really needed to be put down.
Well, here we have anti-mutant forces who are for all intensive purposes nazis. And the show isn't pulling any punches in that regard. I don't give the slightest damn about Jace. He acts in support of those with evil, hate-filled agendas over and over. When the racists recognize themselves in you, that's the time to stop and think things over, but he never does. No amount of half-assed hand-wringing will change the fact that he is just evil. He does not care about the human rights of the people he would see victimized.
But what about the other side? Well, the Underground is the Hawke of the story. Ostensibly the main characters, but not really having an impact at all. They have no vision. No end goal. Apparently in the next episode they intend to fight the Inner Circle just to try to have some claim to relevance. The only way they come out looking like the heroes of the story is if the Inner Circle's true aim is something truly heinous. And that seems to be the way they're going. They've already got an iron stranglehold on the Conflict Ball like damn. And Reeva's ruthlessness and secretiveness is pointlessly over the top.
Now I could be wrong about this. There's still plenty of room for course correction. But I don't think I am.
The Underground really doesn't have a vision, which I suppose is realistic, the X-Men aren't around which makes it easy for the group to splinter as they did. And it is realistic that at this point, they're just trying to survive and stay off the grid. I do think TPTB will get into that plot point as Thunderbird is barely hanging on while trying to lead.
Also yikes, I didn't know the show was doing so poorly with ratings.
Maybe DVR/Stream numbers are good hopefully.

Yeah I pretty much saw that coming. They needed someone to be worse than some of the other Inner Circle members.
And to show Andy what giving in to his anger could mean for him going forward.
Also while the show is not subtle at all with the stark wealth disparity between the Inner Circle and the Underground, good grief it lets the Inner Circle look good.
Team Bank Job was about as glamorous a group as this show has seen.
Next episode is titled "enemy of My enemy". Maybe it could mean Thunderbird gets through to Turner about the Inner Circle and their plot at the very least, even though the latter already freed all of the captive mutants from their collars.
Were those Twist's actual parents in the open? If so, how did she kill them since she was captured? Or was she just lying?

I think it was stated Twist killed her parents after her initial capture. One of her doctors mentioned she had to be drugged because a collar wouldn't work on her which the cops found out 'the hard way.'
So i think at some Rebecca found out she could twist her collar, then went back and killed her parents.
Nobody seen the newest episode yet? It's good that John got out alive. Though both Jace's and Andy's convictions are now stronger than ever, so I guess it's gonna get bloody real soon.

Really good premiere so far.
And apparently emotions stalling labor are a thing. Who knew?
