She's not wrong though. I wouldn't want to let Gavia back into town after she tried to blow it up because she was looking for someone. Nor would I want her alone near my home. That's the price you pay for blowing up buildings when you don't have to.
I am however puzzled as to why Alice doesn't want Ardent to go back into town though. Granted he didn't seem to know how things worked there but at least he wasn't trying to blow the place up. Maybe Alice thinks that someone else might come looking for him.
Or maybe she does. And that's part of her plan.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Had you politely asked someone "Have you seen a deep blue thing with a tail?" instead of being all Explodey Mc Dumbass, or better yet if you had just let him have his damn vacation, you'd be up in Wherever The Fuckistan right now. So apologize and shut it.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117We don't know if the havoc Gavia wreaked is why the Praeses are ignoring her. Ardent fucked up first by cheating his way into a forbidden zone.
At least Gavia was well intentioned in bringing him back. Ardent was doing it to get laid. So yeah...Jerkass Has a Point on Gavia here
Pretty much, but Ardent has a fraction of a point more jerk-value because of motives

"You can reply to this Message!"No, I'm going to go with Gavia getting more jerkass points due to methods over motives.
Sneak off to forbidden area to maybe get laid?
vs.
Terrify, potentially injure an entire innocent populous, and destroy their property for the purpose chasing down a little brother that snuck off and trespassed?
Yeah, to me, Gavia loses this moral blame game by a landslide.
Exactly. At the end of the day, Gavia could've killed someone, Ardent got his face slapped by old "Big Ass" Wheelwright.
She needs to hush.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117It is not humanly possible for this to end well.
Alice is awake, though, so they probably ain't going far.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117What are the odds that they reserve the fire and farm implements for Gavia? I mean, all Ardent did was get a little rude with Bigass Wheelwright, it was Gavia that got all explodey.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117That's assuming that the villagers decide to get torches and pitchforks on Gavia rather than running away. After all, to the best of their knowledge, she can still make things explode. Sure, Alice beat her — but they clearly all regard Alice as the canine testicles and then some, and wouldn't deduce from that that they could do the same.
= Spindriver =Or maybe they can't do the same. One of the first things we saw Alice do in this comic is fall from a windmill and not die; she clearly has some sort of powers, powers her fellow villagers may not have.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Supports the theory that this is After The Fall. radiation caused mutations I say.
So, kids wandering alone in a spooky forest let me give you a piece of advice. If you happen to come across a gingerbread house? STAY AWAY!!!
Trump delenda est

She does keep coming across as a bit of a jerk, though. If the subject isn't open to discussion, she could always say so. Saying that they'll have a discussion and then not actually allowing it just looks pointlessly arrogant.
