Ok, per mod decision, the purpose of this thread is to scrutinize and clean up pages about web sites. Other Sites, especially, has become a catch-all for "my favorite web site that I feel like pimping."
THE FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS:
- A Web Site Is Not A Work For Troping Purposes: A website can contain tropable content, but the site itself does not automatically have a place with us simply by existing.
- A Web Site That Is Not Tropable Can Sometimes Be Repurposed: It may have a place as a Useful Notes page, or serve as an index if it hosts a lot of works that we do trope.
- User Antics Are Not Tropable: Trolls, mod decisions, forum drama. Such are Troper Tales and sources of spiritual decay. They must be purged, even from acceptable pages.
- User Created Content Is Potentially Tropable: But most of it has its own categories already, such as Game Mod, Fan Fiction, or Journal Roleplay.
Put pages you believe should be completely cut in the crowner at the bottom. If you believe a page can be saved or migrated, make a post with details. Other Sites contains the primary targets right now, but any page about a web site should be scrutinized

Just go into the history and copy/paste the original result into each crowner option.
The Anorak Zone hasn't had any tropes listed since it was created.
Which was in 2013. Just junk it at this point, imo.

Website.Webtoons is misspelled. The actual site name is "Webtoon". It was renamed a bunch of times, but never to Webtoons.
Functionally, it's an index listing contents hosted on the site, which share a unique vertical scrolling format. But it otherwise holds no tropes. Should it just be renamed to Website.Webtoon, or is acting as an index also a problem?
Twitter is littered with tropes like
- Head-in-the-Sand Management: Twitter is often accused of this in regard to its management, or not, of harassment.
- Small Reference Pools: Journalists love Twitter, and often act like it's the only social media platform in existence.
May I raze them?

Why does Twitter even have tropes? Again, I'd rather it and similar social media pages be Useful Notes (important for pop cultural context, but not really media in their own right, barring indexing purposes for the few works hosted on Twitter).

See, but my distinction is important to me, I don't want a clear cut, but a conversion to UN would help for certain works that are referenced in media and in some cases heavily influence and/or date it. Maybe even a general UN on social media?

Should we really, though? What value does it serve to tropes? If someone needs a history lesson on Twitter or Instagram, they can visit Wikipedia.

It should be cut, since it's YMMV for a Useful Notes page.

Kongregate got its work index cut by High Crate for being a distributor index (referencing this thread), so I imagine Twitter, Webtoon, and others would too. Unless there's a difference I'm missing here.
Given the page was initially created in 2011 (and moved to the Website namespace in 2013), with only a handful of edits since then (mainly commenting out ZCE and Wick Namespace Migration), I wouldn't be surprised if it was troping the userbase. There's also quite a few YMMV tropes on the main page, despite there already being a YMMV page, which goes to show just how primitive the page is.
