Flashback: Arena
"Nice reflexes!" Noa slid back slightly as the princess repelled her attack, but quickly regained her balance. Now that the two of them were even again, she had a new idea. With a sharp glare, she ducked down and approached again, only to slide off-line to her right! Coming in from the princess' left side, she began moving her arm for a right hook. From this position, she'd nail Alexia in the side of the head!
Of course, that wasn't actually it. Knowing full well that her punch could be blocked with a simple sweep of that shield, the brawler feinted before executing her real attack. With her right arm pulling back, she roared as she aimed at Alexia's stomach with an uppercut!
(Flashback) Workshop C
Ai shrugged. "That works too."
The sliding mechanism for the blade was complete. Ai stood up and moved to make some space for herself. Then, she practiced kicking and extending the blade, using martial arts moves her mother had taught her nearly four years ago. After a moment of practice, she stopped, realizing that she was quite hungry. She fancied melon pudding, as usual.
"I'm going to go to the kitchen and get something to eat. You want something?" she said.
Blushing like a tsundere, Ai scratched her cheek and averted her gaze to anywhere but where Glen was present in the room.
"But don't get me wrong! I'm not doing this because I think you're a good leader or anything."
SLuSH
Ai twirled her yo-yos to warm up.
"Watch out for its acid spit," she said.
Ai grappled herself out of the Shockworm's acidic spit range. She moved quickly and quietly, circling around and trying to take advantage of the Shockworm's lack of eyesight and the noise the others were making to blindside it.
She swung her weapons towards its tail, trying to damage it with fast strikes to prevent it from clinging to the ceiling, while avoiding protracted contact with its body in case it electrified itself.

"Acidic Spit? I probably should have actually studied..." Charisse muttered, brushing her hand over clothes. As she did so, she imbued her semblance into the slobber, causing it to spin around slightly above the palm of her hand. The disgusting and caustic liquid eventually collected into a rotating sphere, which she promptly tossed behind her.

"Gimme your pants.. and now your other pants"Flashback: Dinner
Charlotte smirked. "An Albahlok, hmmm? One of the bigger ones, I presume? Not one of those lesser variants?"
Chelsea facepalmed. "Mother, this is supposed to be a dinner..."
Flashback: Arena
Alexia almost fell for the feint, but remembered how Noa fought at the last moment. The result was that she barely, and awkwardly, got out of the way of the uppercut.
She tripped on her feet as a result of the awkward maneuver. Her eyes widened in realization. She was completely open!
Fire Battle
The monster, Feuerkiefer, was tired of waiting. It lowered its gigantic head, revealing the hollow horn on top...the hollow horn with a hole in the tip...
Yeah, it was a biological cannon.
It fired a burst of flame....right at Rufus.
Grimm Studies
The Grimm before them was hideous. Hope took note of Rufus appearing a little hesitant. Fair enough. She nodded in response to Snickersnax's plan, putting the giant armor frame into motion, slowly circling the beast. The zweihander was at the ready.
And then the Grimm made its first move. She began approaching from the flank. She had no delusions that she's sneaky, but limiting it's area of movement alongside Cara and Ayers seemed like a good enough plan, at least for now.
Flashback: Dinner
Remus nodded. "It was indeed of the larger variety. But of course, Chelsea is right we should probably eat." Remus said as he squeezed Chelsea's hand slightly for reassurance. This dinner is going surprisingly peacefully...

Fire SCAR
Rufus narrowed his eyes as the creature lowered its horns.
That's being aimed at me.
Grab sword, disconnect faux sheathe, connect to left arm, unfurl Aspernor, step forward, raise shield.
Fire splashed over his shield, hot air flowing over the sides, scalding heat licking over his skin. Red, red and the pleasant pumping of blood entered the corner of his vision.
"Cara!" He snarled. Not his usual grumble, rumble or grunt, but a tight throated growl, "Follow Ayers!"
The vorpal sword extended from his sheathe, the phantom armor wreathed around his body and blood red filled his vision. It's time to let go, it's time to let go. Rufus screamed bloody fucking murder and charged.
Flashback: Dinner
Charlotte grinned. She looked at her husband and daughter. Chelsea looked alarmed.
"Y-you d-don't mean...."
"Yes, I do."
"B-but..."
"Let her do it. It would make things a lot easier for us." sighed Johnathan.
Grimm Studies
"I think I'll keep calling you that, just to annoy you. You tease me all the time, so I think I shall return the favor." said Alexia primly, but a smile was on her face.
The Fuerekiefer charged as well, ridiculoudly fast for something like it. It opened its jaw wide, to swallow Rufus!
Fire SCAR
Rufus thrust his blade up, toward the top of the beast's cavernous mouth as he charged right the fuck in. The vorpal sword extended out to twice its length in the thrust as the berserker obviously meant to just simply impale the beast through the top of its head.

Shockworm
Yeah. Naima didn't want to get any of that slobber on her. Deftly she moved aside, twirling Shear Edge as she maneuvered out of the way. Almost simultaneously she hit a button on the hilt of her weapon, firing off the blade which ripped through the air directly at the gut of the Grimm.

Grimm Studies
Alexia blushed when Lucas corrected her. "Er, sorry. Actually, that's a Feurekiefer. It was only discovered about six months ago in Hell. I have no idea what it is."
....Speaking of that monster, Rufus's blade...did jack to the thing. When the blade extended, it actually pushed Rufus back but did nothing to pierce the thing.
It was pinned, but unharmed. Tough bastard.
Flashback: Arena
Alexia was more vulnerable than ever, and Noa was damn well going to take advantage of it. Still attacking from Lexi's left side, she rushed in with a roar. This time, she came in low with a takedown as she sought to slip under the shield and bowl the princess over with her strength. Who knows how bad things could get if she succeeded?
Flashback: Arena
FUCK! SHE GOT MY EYES, MY FUCKING EYES!!
Noa gagged, angry and blinded by the blast. She wouldn't be able to pursue, but she did have an option to strike back. Reaching out blindly for one of Lexi's arms, she tried to press one fist to a bicep and release the piston. Needless to say, it'd leave more than a nasty bruise if she succeeded in nailing the princess.
Arena Battle
Noa's blow barely nicked her shoulder, but Alexia nearly cried out in pain. It was clear that she was no match for the brawler in sheer power.
She had to keep her distance. She kicked at Noa, pushing her away from her.
If it worked, she would grab her sword and try to slam the hilt into the back of her opponent's head.
Grimm Studies
Seeing as Rufus' approach didn't quite work out and Ayers with Cara offered no alternatives, Hope made her move. The Grimm barely acknowledged anyone besides Snickersnax which made things easier for her to "sneak" upon it and get into striking range and since Rufus' previous attack managed to at least hold the Feurekiefer in place...
The giant zweihander came crashing down at the Grimm, a simple overhead strike was less of a slash and more of a slam that was meant to smear the monster over the floor.
Arena Battle
Noa was sent staggering back, still vision impaired from the icy Dust blast. Unfortunately for Alexia, her hearing wasn't affected. When Lexi approached, she swung her other gauntlet in a backhanded motion. She still took the hilt to the back of the head, but now she was aiming for an exchange of blows!
Fire
"That bit right there, that's hwut I'm talking about!" Ayers yelled, jabbing a finger at the monster's cannon-horn. "Y'all got the body if'n I got that." He ran up behind Rufus, jumped up, and landed into a rodeo on top of the Feurwhatever. He then reached for the horn and tried to grab on, hoping to yank it straight off.

Flashback: Dinner
Remus thought for a moment. "Yeah I guess it was a bit of a bad idea. I just wish we could have gotten a better grade... Our teamwork was... lacking..."
All of a sudden Remus had just forgotten about his anxiety. He was able to actually talk normally.
"Truthfully the strategy was actually reemployed from something me and my team did in our initiation, against an Ablahok."
