"Oh, sounds like you really hate these guys," Ruth replied, somewhat surprised by Jack's sudden burst of anger. "Anyways, it looks like our teammates have left us," she continued, looking around and noticing for the first time that Lucas and Remus were gone. "So, do you wanna go get some breakfast or something?"
Campground
Yun looked around, taking in the scenery. Huh, even this far up, this place really does remind me of home. He thought to himself, thinking back to his coastal hometown.
Yun picked a nearby empty tent and deposited his stuff inside. He caught sight of Imuka hanging around Pius, looking uneasy for some reason. "Imuka, is something wrong?" He asked, walking up to the two.
Did she hear the sound of Grimm lurking nearby? Yun thought to himself and looked around, trying to see if that was the case.
"Sure," Jack suddenly propelled himself with his hands and landed on his feet. "Always wanted to do that." He said to himself. "The Devil...He fucks with your emotions." And that's all he was saying. "Just let me check on something." He lead her to the door where they met a girl in a wheelchair. Jack waved. "Hey-Hope, ask Alex if my medicine helped, wouldja?" He passed Hope and walked down the stairs and got to the dorm room, dropping his cauntlets and pointing at the empty bed. "That place is yours. Lucas and Remus..." He checked his scroll. "Are Tyr knows where."
Good to be backTeam PRRL's Room, Morning
"Well, I'm sure those two will turn up sooner or later," Ruth replied. "Anyway," she continued, "I guess I should start moving my stuff from my old room to this one." She turned around and started making her way towards the door, "Nice meeting you... Oh! And, good fight back there!"

Time for plot!
The Dorm
Alexia smiled tiredly at Hope, laying back on her bed for fear of barfing.
"Hello, Hope. I'm fine, really. You didn't have to go through all the trouble..."
At that moment her Scroll rang and the younger princess checked it. Her smile grew brighter. A text from Alfred.
I'm fine, nothing some rest won't fix. Thank you for the concern, beloved. Go have fun. And talk to people!
And then, sirens. Sirens coming from the city of Vale.
"Alerts?! What's going on?!"
Elsewhere in the dorm, the news continued.
"No signs of stopping...Emelinda Alexandros...chaos at Vale's Central business district...known Arcana member, Marianne West..."
Mia heard the name. That agonizingly familiar name. Half-forgotten memories came rushing back in a flood.
Little flower-

Her kind smile-
Aunt Mina-!
No...
Mama...?
Ayers. Ayers, we need to go. We need to go there. Please-!
She was all but begging.
Meanwhile, Ieria's Scroll rang with a call from the elder princess.
"Ieria, Arcana and Max's people are fighting it out right now. I'm going in. I know it's unfair, and really dangerous, but I have to stop them. Don't follow me. I don't want you or Medus to get hurt."
The School Trip: Novus 7, 1:30 PM
After what Chelsea personally thought was a very interesting lesson and some handcooked lunch, the students were issued a challenge.
From now until sunset, there would be three especially designated hunting zones from the camp up to Mount Amaterasu. The goal was to bring down the rarest and biggest Grimm they could find. Of course, there would be a special reward at dinner.
The three zones were the Mountain Zone at the base of Amaterasu, the Water Zone on the other side of the lake, and the Wasteland Zone a rough flat area to the west. The only restriction was that they could not cross the Vacuo border.
Chelsea tapped her boyfriend on the shoulder. "Would you and Sir Lucss like to team up with me and Olivia? We were thinking of hunting in the Wasteland Zone..."

Kitchen.
Medus leaned over as Ieria's scroll went off. "Sorry, Alice, Kersssssh. We can't really Kersssssh all that well. We can talk it Kersssh later." He replied before ending the call to cut off Alice's retort and turning to Ieria. "It's adorable that she thinks she can stop us. Shall we go save our Princess?"
-dramatic music ensues-Alexia's Room
"Au contraire, princess, but you look like shit." Hope frowned. There she was again, saying that nothing was wrong while she clearly looked, well, pretty badly. "No offense."
"Can you eat? I got you some chocolate." The grayhair smiled as she gestured to her bar. That idyllic atmosphere was however soon broken by the alarm.
"It's Arcana. Midwestern Vale." She replied truthfully. Now here was hoping Alexia wasn't planning to go anywhere to fight them in that state.
...
Hope fished out her Scroll and texted home briefly to warn them of the trouble. Remingtons were all prepared in such case, but something told her she might as well write her Mom. It's been a while.

Despite having a relatively extensive vocabulary in the southern tongue, Glen found himself having difficulty understanding half of what Geki had just said, notably 'Primeval', but the Highlander got the gist of what was being said to know that he was being insulted. In response, Glen snarled "First off, dinnae call me 'Master', Glen will do just fine, ta muchly. Secondly, I'd prefer you dinnae address me by that name again. An' thirdly, Pòg mo thòin" before getting back to work on his own food.
Then of course the sirens began blaring indicating that something was about to go down, and Glen was fairly certain that he was about to get wrapped up in it, and judging by the reports of Arcana pouring in, he was going to want to leap headfirst into this fight.
Dropping everything (except his Dirk), the Highlander dashed back to his dorm to get kitted up, swearing a blue streak all the while, both in his native tongue and the more common southern tongue.
Quickly pulling on his armor, Glen took a moment to look over his modest arsenal before taking hold of Mors' hilt.
The Highlander was torn.
After his banishment, he wasn't terribly keen on bringing the Claymore into battle, if only because what little honor he had left forced him not to. On the other hand there wasn't anything else in the world that he knew quite as well as that sword at this point, and if there was going to be a fight, dammit he'd want to bring his best this time.
After half a moment of deliberation Glen shouldered the blade and made his way back to the kitchen to grab something to eat on his way to the fray, muttering "I'm goin' tae put these Arcana bastarts down like the Cù-Sith they are."

Bacon, Eggs, and Terrorists - Kitchen
After deciding on bacon and eggs with a side of toast and ate his meal. When he was halfway done with the breakfast, a siren blared out and the news reported some sort of group called "Arcana." He turned to his partner and said, "Who's Arcana?"
"I treasure every day with you, darling." "No need to be so sappy, love." "You know that's how she is, Nia." - AU!Pyra, Nia, MythraAyers shotgunned his oatmeal. "Fuck that bitch, we gotta go. Arcana're a buncha misguided revolutionaries're somethin', don't right care, but they kill people so we gotta go kill'em first." He stated, then shot a mass text to his Team. Arcana's in town. Gotta go.
He strode up to the workshop first. He couldn't just be holding onto these plates, but he also needed Mia riding shotgun the whole time. "Yer gonna git the front-row seats. Give it a shot controllin' the hardware too if'n y'all want." With swift, sure movements, Ayers pressed the plates to his shoulder in an overlapping style similar to Daichi shoulderplates, grabbed a huge pneumatic bolt gun, and pierced Mia's armor straight through to Naegling's upper shoulder. The overlapping triangular plates were a lighter color that shone in contrast to Naegling's matte brown, but the organic shapes fit nicely together. Ayers smiled at the addition, nodded, and walked back downstairs with his new armor attached. "Arright, ready to go." He didn't even bother to wait for who else was coming; with Mia's present mood, he just sort of walked right out the door.

Before he could even mix up the rice, pork, eggs, and spices together, the All-Points Alarm klaxons rang and Geki sighed mentally as he gathered up his ingredients, killing the oven flames as he went. With his food covered up, he ran for his locker. But before he armed up, he ran to SIGL's dorm room. Partially, to awaken who else might have tarried in bed.
But the true reason was apparent as he hurried to the Skydock for deployment, carrying his kanabo, and dressed in the hood and line lamelar armor of the elite Vacu drop troops, the red adamantine war mask affixed on his shoulder guard as he adjusted his musette bag of mortar rounds.
He didn't carry as many rounds as he wished, given that they would be deploying in an urban environs. At the very least, Geki would be fast enough to keep up if they needed to move fast.

With the Luna base off in the distance on her mind, Ai turned her attention back to the group and nodded in accordance with Yun.
"Is it the Luna base, or—?" she said. "Or—Vacuo's bad for you, right? Are you gonna be okay? We stopped before the border so I don't think we're going over it anytime soon."
Novus 7, 1:30 PM: Campground
After what Ai personally thought was only a mildly interesting lesson and some handcooked lunch (a much better lesson), Ai took to the challenge with every intention to win.
"That reward's as good as mine!" she announced, boldly.
It didn't take long for Ai to gear up with a light loadout of supplies and to decide who to team up with. Yet again, Ai approached the people she was most familiar with but who would also round out a good expedition team; Pius and Imuka.
"Immy, wanna team up on this one?" she said. "You, me, and a heavy hitter like Pius would make a great team. Better than my actual team!"
Ai covered her mouth.
"...probably shouldn't let Glen hear that."
Novus 7, 9:45: Campground
"Its... Its the later, I will be fine it just... makes me very uneasy knowing that it is right over there, sorry" The fox replied to Ai, probaly answering Yun's question in the process, "I-I mean out here I should proably be okay any way its just.... nevermind"
Novus 7, 1:30 PM: Campground
"S-Sure, I will gladly help, I was considering asking Lucas as well, but it sounds like he already found a group", Imuka replied, panning her ears a bit and listening to the plans of others to help her team make there own plans, "J-Just let me know before we head out so that I have time to get dressed, sorry"
Novus 7, 9 AM: Campground
"Well, it's two to a tent. If you don't wanna be alone, me or Olivia are the only other girls here that haven't picked a—"
Ai paused and looked over to where the others were gathering to check how the tent arrangements were coming along. What she saw didn't surprise her at all.
"Oh look, Remus and Chelsea are probably going to share a tent," Ai said, deadpan. "Nobody pick a tent next to them unless you want to hear the noises."
Novus 7, 1 PM: Campground
"No problem!" Ai said. "I'll go get Pius to be less antisocial. Or you can help, if you want. You know him better than I do."
Ai turned her attention to approaching Pius, who in her mind would provide them with the power to her speed and Imuka's range.
"You've been quiet today. That's unusual." Cheeky. Ai flashed a toothy grin. "Wanna team up with me and Immy? We'll have every base covered."

Sechs had been heading to the kitchen when the alarms went off, and he turned on his heel to grab the rest of his gear from the dorm. Not seeing any sign of his teammates, he made his way out to the Skydocks, once again thankful for the routine maintenance he preformed on his weapon and equipment. Spotting Geki as he progressed, he ran up alongside the warrior, giving a curt nod to the man as they slowed and stopped at the docks.
[forum cryptid: it/it's]Breakfast
Ieria smiled up at her boyfriend as she listened to his reply, the thoughts in her head more or less mirroring hers. "Yes, we shall Medus." She said softly as she finished her breakfast plate, quickly carrying it over to the sink for cleaning. "We should likely inform Pius, but then again he may very well attempt to stop us..."

"Well luckily for us, I think our fearless leader is already out on his way to the smart kids trip. So leave him a message and I'll commandeer us a Bulkhead?" Medus replied as he began tapping on his scroll a moment before his locker landed just outside the window with a loud impact.

"Right, I hope he does not try to do anything too rash and try to stop us." She said with a sigh as she looked at her scroll. "...I shall wait til we are gone to do so."
"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM Sniper"Thanks." Jack said, walking down. "Morning Nigel-Can you help me with something?"
Kitchen Warning
Jack walked in to the kitchen, grabbing a raw piece of meat and eating it, before pausing as he looked at everyone. "What's up?" He asked, watching Medus's locker smash down outside the window. It seemed something was going down. "And why do you want a bulkhead?" He looked at Medus, eyebrow raised.

Good to be backBreakfast
Grigori answered Jack, "Some sort of revolutionaries called Arcana are in the city, attacking some business district and some lady named Alexandros is involved in this." He said as he's finishing the rest of his meal. "Damn shame a good amount of us left before that, but we can probably do." As soon as he finishes breakfast, he makes his way to his locker.
"I treasure every day with you, darling." "No need to be so sappy, love." "You know that's how she is, Nia." - AU!Pyra, Nia, MythraTRIGGERED
A dark shadow passed over Jack's face. "Arcana." He growled quietly, "You just said 'Arcana'" Turning to face Grigori. "Because 'some revolutionaries named Arcana' were the dick bags that mindraped all of us and fucked up me and Medus." His tone was conversational but something about his eyes didn't match the tone.
"And Some Lady named Maximillian Alexandros is 1. A man. and 2. A bigger cunt than any woman can have," He added. "But fuck him. W Here's Arcana?"

Good to be back

It's not that Geki was actually skulking. People had just been treated to this odd gentle choreography where two students just happened to be cooking separate meals around each other. The smaller of the young men languidly twisted in place so that Glen's hand hung briefly in the air before he straightened and once began mixing extra seasoning into the pot of rice.
"As much as I believe in your enthusiasm, Master Whorple," There was an intonation in Geki's voice, one that sounded respectful but more often than not was a subtle way to insult the addressee. "But not all of us have the intestinal fortitude for primeval roasts every morning."
A few minutes later, after soft-boiling eggs, Geki was tossing a fragrant pork-rice-egg combination professionally in a wok.
