Hope's expression narrowed when she saw Candor and Lady making their appearances. That Glen and Jack calmed down almost in an instant was a testament as to how they revered that... thing.
Thing was a good way to put it, yeah. Plus, ever since the last words she and Sophie had were that of a bitter argument, word "Anomaly" left a bitter taste in her mouth.
"I am not a part of the cool kids' club." She drawled, eyeing the form in front of them. "Rather, someone who shouldn't even be here in the first place, as your associate didn't hesitate to point out." The gray-hair added, glaring at Candor.

Beacon Academy
The duelling arena was packed. People filled the entire venue. You couldn't walk without hitting someone. Everyone was excitedly yelling, jumping up and down and screaming.
"Yeeees! Hit him in the face! Dodge that! Yeah!"
The attraction itself was obscured by the crowd, but screams, battlecries, yelps of pain....and explosions. Huh...
Urujauni
"Heh. You're still...soft." she said, almost wistfully.
She looked down at her feet. Then, she took a breath and spoke.
"....I'm planning a coup against The World."
Olympos Apollo Medical Center
Alexandros lead them downstairs. The halls of the hospital was immaculately clean and still smelled new.
Alexia looked around. She noticed that there were already people...patients. She frowned. They were mostly senior citizens....Why would Alexandros....A chilling thought hit her. Was he going to experiment on...?!
No. No. No!
Alice looked like she was barely holding herself together. Alexia herself wanted nothing more to take him down right now!
"Why did you call us?" snarled Alice.
Alexandros smirked at her. "...I want you to meet my wife first."
The Bright Room
Lady smiled at Glen and Jack. "No need to kneel. I am not someone that you should revere...."
"...And I am not who you think I am." she added to Glen.
Carol nudged Mina. "Wow. Someone cosmic that's not a complete ass."
Candor glared at her again.
Lady looked at Hope. "And I have already told you...of course you belong. Candor was wrong and he should apologize." She said that last bit sharply, giving Candor a reproachful glare.
"Do I have too?"
"Yes, dear."
"...Mrgrsorry."
"....Hmmph. It's a start."
The other girl snickered. "Whipped."
"Anyway, daughter..." Lady looked at Hope again. "You have been chosen. A new Anomaly."
She looked at everyone else. "I will answer you now. Ask any question."
"Question number one: how do I sign out of this business?" She replied, her cold attitude only slightly thawing out at the sight of Lady actually being more reasonable than she first seemed. "And if that's impossible, whatever is the threat we have to deal with so we can be past this... ordeal ASAP?"
"...no offense, but since yesterday evening the word "Anomaly" leaves a bitter taste in my mouth." She added after a moment. She, of course, referred to her argument with Sophie back then that went so poorly. To put it shortly... some poorly-thought out words were said there.

Olympos Apollo Medical Center
Alfred walked closer to Alexia and from her left whispered to her as he was looking straight in the same professional manner he always has on these missions.
"You're both incredibly on edge and ready to kill the guy aren't you? I can't have you harmed on my watch, so let me try and calm you down. I know you're angry, but look at this from a logical point of view. I realize what he's doing is wrong, but there is no point in trying to do something about it right now. He'll likely get out alive out of a confrontation anyway. We will be the only ones to suffer from it, and he only might be harmed a little bit. We'll have to suffer seeing this for just a little longer and then we'll be back in the dorm, away from this asshole. Think you'll manage?"
The Bright Room
Candor snarled. "Believe me, if it was up to me, none of you would be chosen!"
Lady silenced him with a glare. "The qualifications of being an Anomaly...it's a complicated thing. Attachment to the previous timeline, the properties of each soul..."
She shook her head. "Forgive me, but I fear even I do not know everything. It's all part of the rules we need to operate by..."
"As for why you were taken here...the crisis...well...I should start from the beginning."
"We are, all of us, including myself and Candor, are part...of a Great Game...A Game that governs all our fates..."
Medical Center
Alexia breathed and grabbed Alfred's hand. Her heart was beating erratically, but she knew that her knight was right. She needed to keep it together. For everyone's sake.
"....I know....Hold my hand..."
Alexandros lead them to the lowest level of the hospital, to a steel door locked by a DNA scanner.
He unlocked the door, letting them into a room that Alexia was not prepared for.
It was huge and circular, the walls were filled with machines that she couldn't even guess the functions of. Shelves were filled by body parts, mechanical limbs and organs, even organic ones in tanks woth gold liquid. More of the gold liquid filled vats on the floor. There was an operating table with a mechanical skeleton lay.
And in the room, sitting serenely on her wheelchair, was Max's wife...Emelinda Alexandros.
Beacon Fight Place
Rheia, upon entering the duelling arena, soon realized the place was absolutely filled to the brim. It seemed that everyone was here. A spirited battle was taking place - not that you could entirely tell over the screams of the crowd, adoring the bloodless carnage no doubt taking place in the arena below.
Nevertheless, if she was here she wanted to see the action before she continued looking for her teammates, so she began pushing through the crowd. She made no apologies for what she was doing, but tried to be as smooth about it as possible, so that it was more "someone working their way through the people" rather than "car running over a cycling race".
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Though he blinked at Urujauni's claim, Pius couldn't help a bitter chuckle to himself. She had betrayed them for Arcana after a short time with them, and now she was betraying Arcana after a short time with them. But this was not a defection his ex-partner was planning; it was a coup. And that meant someone would take World's place.
"And who exactly would be replacing him if you managed to succeed?" He asked, his tone accusing and almost resigned at Urujauni's intended betrayal.
Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%...are you ready to RUMBLEEEEEEEEE?
Sechs worked his way to the fight, wondering what sort of event was taking place. Combat like this always amused him: to protect and fight was a duty, not something for amusement and glory.
Nevertheless, there was something about the rush of adrenaline, the feel of cold steel in his grip, and the the scent of blood in the ground that had its own...pleasantness, to it. Perhaps Rufus had something, going on about those gods of bloodshed.
In any case, there was a fight and he wanted to see it. Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of your allies and friends was highly beneficial.

Ai rolled her eyes and smiled ruefully. "Oh, I can see that. Everyone knows Pius is the life of the party," she said. She turned back to the doorway. "Now, that was—"
The boy already stood there, looking rather dumb and perhaps a little worse for wear. Now, between this newcomer and the other one that showed up earlier, one of them had to be Imuka's new partner. She hoped it wasn't this one, because he sure hadn't made the best first impression.
"You must be new," Ai said. Then came Ai's trademark cheeky grin with the visible fangs. "Did you have a nice trip?"

Glowy room
Rising to his feet, but continuing to avert his eyes, Glen quietly stepped back and away from the two cosmic entities. Glen was still under the assumption that The Architect would be the first to deny her status as a deity, but chose not to pursue the matter out of respect.
Choosing to remain quiet as the whole Anomaly thing was explained in greater detail, Glen idly traced a finger across Mors' blade as he tried to process all of the information he was receiving.
Gods of bloodshed? Rufus is a monotheist who worships the Earth Mother. He also happens to be a berserkergang, but that's a mental illness, not a religion.
Arena
"I sure to Blackened Hells hope this is where our comrades are," Rufus said, listening to the sounds of battle, "Because I want to stay here."
The Dueling Arena
Stormer had finally reached the Dueling Arena, where Ozpin was supposed to be holding his little event. He spotted Sechs and Rufus waiting by the entrance.
"Hey guys. What do you think Ozpin's called us here for?", he said to the two members of Team SOLR.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015left a note in the chat room.
"You know Oz. I've about as much a clue as you do, Stormer." Sechs said as he looked out over the combat.
"Whatever it is though, it sounds kinda important, so I figured checking it out would be a good plan. Worst case scenario it's dumb, we go sit on a roof somewhere and take it easy for a second."

...Maybe things weren't so bad, him showing up meant that one of them looked a little less sad and the other was flashing the green-haired faunus a grin. He couldn't quite if that was genuine or trying to un-nerve him, but he just cheerfully smiled right back all the same.
"Eheheheheh...Well, I wouldn't call it a pleasant trip down the stairs, but gettin' here was fun enough. 'Specially since I get to meet new people and cute gals like yourself." He grinned, giving a playful wink before resting his arms behind his head.
"...but, seriously, it's nice to meet the both of ya. Name's Falken. And, uh, aheh, ya don't need to hide, Miss, I ain't gonna bite."
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Falken just kept smiling, trying to lighten the mood. "Ai, Ai, Miss! I'll keep that in mind!" The air-head cheerfully joked to the tiger faunus, giving a sort of salute as if she were a captain. "And Imuka, huh? Cute name for a cute gal like yourself, yep."
"Oh, right, the team! Uh, lesee...kinda remember they gave me a warnin' 'bout some easily irritated girl in a wheelchair, some cyborg...cowboy person and a a fluffy robo fox mechanic, or somethin' like that."
The penny dropped.
"...Uh..."
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Bad First Impressions
Imuka just kind of stared.... and stared.... the longer she stared the more her ears pined and her tail curled up, before she finally spoke up. "Y-You are not Belle" she said rather loudly, which with her meek demeanour was probably the closest she would get to yelling at some one she just met....
Before she decided to take off at least, this was not something she wanted to deal with right now, it was bad enough the woman who was her partner in more was then one had left, and her replacement had not exactly left the best first impression on her, well unless you consider "Would probably just end up giving himself a concussion if given a socket wrench" a good first impression.
As she wandered down the halls, she looked around, kind of wondering where every one had ran off too since she had not yet bothered to connect to her scroll yet this morning.
Well, that ended poorly.
That smile of Falken's faded quickly as the fox faunus sort of...shouted at him before racing off, leaving the green-haired confused, sighing and plucking a feather out of his hair. ...Definitely not how he wanted things to go.
"...Belle, huh? Considerin' how she acted, I'm guessin' I've got pretty big shoes to fill..."
He was contemplating on running after Imuka, but quickly figured out it'd be best to just leave her alone for now instead of making the problem worse.
"...sorry 'bout that, uh, Ai."
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.

Lucas kept quiet as the two supernatural beings entered, deactivating his Semblance to keep from being overwhelmed.
Maybe we'll finally get some straight answers about what's going on...
