The Royal Palace
"Very funny, Pius. Since when did you become so sarcastic?" grunted Alexia, glaring at her partner. But, at that moment, the conversation was stopped when someone entered the throne.
It was Queen Lucretia. She walked to the throne and fixed her gaze towards all of the students, lingering briefly on her daughter.
Alexia looked down and stayed silent.
Rescue Mission
Carol paused. She seemed to be scanning her surroundings. She looked directly at Lucas. And then, she twitched.
For a glorious minute, it seemed she remembered.
"She knows you!" Mina exclaimed, relieved.
...and then her right arm turned into a flamethrower and she shot flames at Lucas.
Bleh, How Did I Miss That
"...yeah, that sounds like a good plan." Hope agreed to Yun's words after a longer moment of silence. Why was she silent, nobody but her knew. "And we can play the console in the living room while at it. Feels like we could use a moment of brainless relaxation. What say you, Sophie?" She addressed the more game-inclined person out of their pair.
Lucas
For a second, he had hope. She was going to be alright, she would remember him, and they were going to go home. Nothing would keep them apart now, or so he hoped.
And then she tried to burn his fucking face off. A move he only barely dodged because he didn't think she would do that.
No, it can't be... She's... too far gone...
"...I'll distract her," he said to the other, an empty, defeated tone to his voice. "You guys take her down."
Rescue Mission
Don't worry Lucas... We'll worry later, but now... Remus calmed his mind as he started to steady his breathing. His semblance flared to life as he focused on one of the unarmored parts of Carol's body, a sleeper dust round in Volsung's chamber. One shot... He breathed in, steadied his hands, and pulled the trigger.
Rescue
Ieria lunged at Carol from the side as she fired on Lucas.
She knew what she had to do, she had to work her over. But she couldn't kill her, at all costs she could kill Carol if she could afford it.
So with that in mind, she turned on her semblance as she slammed into the other girl.

February was too stunned to even attack properly. Only after the others made their moves did she realize she had to step in, somehow. But with what? All her weapons were the killing type. If... if....
There was no choice. With a sob, the shark pulled out her black revolver.
If the others couldn't take her down, Feb would have to shoot Carol. There was one hope, though.
"You! Stop herrrr!!" She called out to the Arcana, her voice barely carrying over the din of battle.
The Royal Palace
"News of Arcana, Lord Nobel?" The Queen fixed her crimson gaze at Pius. "Very well. We shall hear it."
She turned back to Alexia. "Look at us, daughter."
Alexia clenched her fists and continued averting her gaze. "I cannot, mother. For I am ashamed."
"...We shall speak privately later." The Queen said neutrally, but all knew it was a command.
Alexia flinched, but nodded.
Vs Carol
"Lucas, you idiot! Are you giving up?! I thought you loved her more than that!" Mina snapped at him.
Gamma allowed Ieria to tackle her...and used her as a shield from Remus's shot.
She then let loose once more with her flamethrower.
The Royal Palace
Standing next to her Majesty was the captain of the Royal Guard. He stood at attention, casting a measured eye over the students that stood before the Queen.
"Your Highness, given the circumstances involving the past few months I would not be overly harsh on Princess Alexia. This isn't her first..." the Captain's gaze fell upon Alfred; his eyes narrowed. "... mistake." He then turned his head slightly to face the Queen. "This is not to say I impose upon your judgement in any way. It is mere suggestion."
The Captain, Sir Nils Olav, was about the same height as the Queen. At his waist, a sword neatly sheathed in its scabbard. He was dressed in a rather ceremonial white suit, emblazoned with the Valoran Royal Crest upon the lapel. A few medals decorated his breast. He carried about him an air of dignity and ranking.

"One of the Arcana contacted me, hoping to involve me in their cause with the influence of a...a mutual acquaintance," Pius replied. "I know tracing the contact's origin may be difficult, but it shouldn't be impossible to find it eventually."

"Carol!" Ieria hissed as she was hit by the round, her semblance tanking most of the damage, her semblance allowing her to ignore the affects of the sleeper dust, letting her attack the other girl once more, in an attempt to grab the flamethrower and wrench it away, so she could use her own flamethrower on the girl as well.

While all of talkings were going on Alfred was taking a knee and keeping silent. He had little idea how to talk with her or her knights and he certainly didn't want to risk his life. So he settled for inspecting the scene rather than take part in it.
Here's the infamous post. Go ahead and call me a baby.
Lucas… didn’t do anything. Not even dodge the flamethrower’s attack — the flames just ate at his Aura.
How do I even know she’s still in there? Lucas thought to himself. I heard what happened to Mia. I wouldn’t put it past Arcana to try to remove her humanity.
And that was what hurt the most here. This shouldn’t have happened. He should have stayed there during the attack at the Jades. Maybe if he hadn’t run off like a fucking coward they wouldn’t have captured her.
As he felt something wet come down his cheek — just irritation from the dust, that’s all - he walked towards Carol slowly. "Carol, are you still in there? Please... give me a sign..."

Rescue Mission
Damnit this is what I was afraid of.
"Lucas, get your ass into gear!" Remus yelled out as he charged forward, Volsung now back to its greatsword.
He forced his way in front of the flames, cutting through with an ice enhanced blade and slashing towards Carol with a sword wave of chilled energy.
"You think Carol is going to be happy if you just up and die? Get over yourself. We can still save her, but not if you keep going down on yourself like this."
We need a Tearjerker page, damn it.
Gamma immediately disengaged when Remus and Ieria ran at her. When she had enough distance, she copied Volsung. She raised it in a battle stance.
...And then.
A pause. Gamma was shaking.
And then, a miracle.
Words.
"I-i-idiot!" That was Carol's voice.
She charged, slashing with her copied weapon at Remus. But even as she attacked, she spoke. Spoke, like every word was painful, barely understandable, but she spoke.
"I-idiot. R-remus is r-right."
Slash downward.
"F-fight me! S-stop me! Because..."
Her voice was getting stronger now. "Because I'd rather die than hurt you!"

(Felicity) Flower Shop
"First I'm cabin girl, now I'm errand girl," said Felicity.
She walked into the flower shop but the sleeve of her blouse almost caught on the doorframe. "These bloody long clothes! I miss my hat." She went through the shop looking for camellias.
"Anything else you need, your highness?" she said to Richard.
(Ai) Kitchen
Ai stopped what she was doing as Charisse grabbed her, placing the cake pan and utensils down gingerly.
"Did you stutter?" she said, smirking at her own joke, "What's new?"
