"Because as I told you, there is no end to them." She said with a sigh. "As I told you, there is no way for you to see clearly, when you are blinded to such a simple fact."
Present Day
"Understood." Ieria replied with a bow to her charge before going to pack up what she would need. She made quick stop at the living room, planting a kiss on Medus' lips before smiling to him. "Alice is calling me away on business, I'll be back soon I promise." Was all she said to him before heading back to meet the Princess Regent.

"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM SniperSilvia returns as well, with a few options in her hand.
"I'd like your opinion" Silvia said. "Something like this

Meanwhile, Elsewhere in Town...
Stormer had managed to buy enough decorations to fit the cozy winter theme that Alexia wanted, and even had Lien left over to buy Lucas a birthday card. All that was needed now were some white roses, befitting of the dorm's name.
With bags of recently-purchased decorations in hand, he walked out of a store called Wallmarks (known for selling lots of cards for all sorts of occasions). "Now, where can I find the nearest flower shop?", he thought to himself. Browsing his surroundings, he saw one not too far from where he was, called "Endless Spring Florists". "Well then, looks like I've got my answer."
Stormer walked into the flower shop, and picked out several bouquets of white roses for the ball. But just as he turned around, he wasn't quite paying attention to the people around him, and accidentally knocked into another person who was walking right by him, sending them both falling to the ground.
"Shit.", he thought, "That hurt...".
He then sat up, and saw the unfortunate person who he bumped into. "I am so sorry, I really am. Are you okay?", he said to the person while extending his hand.

"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015"It is quite a unique dress." she said. "With a feature not a lot of outfits have..."
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing. With Stormer
Stormer managed to knock over someone who looked old enough to be his classmate. Her appearance and outfit implied that she was at least of Vacuoan descent, but that wasn't the most surprising detail about her — rather, it was the pair of wings on her back.
"I'm okay," she said with a slight accent as she took his hand. "I know you didn't mean to do that."
Parting from Charisse with happy tears in her eyes, February only had a moment of respite before a certain bruiser showed up with a look of disdain.
"O' course ya would happen ta be doin' dat. Gonna be standin' 'n mah way, ya Dust-taken useless piece o' crap?" She spat on the shark, causing the girl to flinch as Noa loomed over her. With more than a foot on her nemesis and a lot more muscle, the brawler had the physical advantage there. They were alone in the hall now, and nobody would be coming to save Feb.
That thought was enough to get the shark faunus fleeing immediately. Noa didn't follow. She just gave an ugly sneer and laughed.
"Go on, then! Run like ya always do! All yer talk 'bout bein' brave, it ain't worth shit!"
Those words stung February as she ran away. She wanted her friends to recognize her as somebody worth standing beside them. But how? How could she prove it to herself, and to them? It wasn't much, but she just wanted them to smile for her and pat her on the head. That would feel amazing, being acknowledged like that.
And then she happened to overhear a conversation she shouldn't have even known about.
"Rrrr... Rescue?"
Scary. Really, really scary. But Feb was a good girl. She wanted to help! She would help!
Clumsy
Stormer helped the Vacuoan girl up, and got a good look at the girl and her wings. "A bird Faunus? In a place like this? Interesting. She doesn't look hurt from the fall, so that's good."
"Again, I am so sorry about this, miss. I must have not watched where I was going.", he said to this strange new girl. "I just came here to buy these bouquets of roses."
He then picked up the bouquets that had fallen to the ground, and dusted himself off.

'That can't be true,' Pius muttered as Francesca passed him. 'There has to be an end to them. We can find it.'

"She can pay attention just fine, Cyanea," Pius remarked as they continued making the batter. "What's the progress on the icing?"

"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015"It's fine, really. It just means I have more time to spend on training to be a Huntsman at Beacon.", he replied to the Faunus. "Though some of the other dorm members seem to disagree."
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015"Pleasure to meet you, Ms. Chiharu. The name's Stormer. Stormer Aurion.", he said while shaking her hand. "And yeah, I totally agree with you on that stance."
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Ayers left the store with a much more minimalist button-down—still sticking to a silk cowboy shirt for sure, but removing the eagles and roses as suggested. He took a deep breath and swiveled around the stores, looking at the various places he could go...
Ayers plowed straight into the flower shop and headed for the back, intent on grabbing something of incredible importance to the Ball, something nobody else knew of, but that he had written down: The Core Sage. One obstacle remained hi his way, however: the bell at the desk by the corsage station. Ayers raised his hand over the bell, gently... then just hollered. "Uh, hey, could y'all c'mere?! I don't wanna hurt yer bell none, I got a condition that'd make it sorta hard to use it right! This's where I git a Core Sage, right?"
"What the dust is Ayers doing here?", Stormer thought to himself, "Since when does a guy like him start wearing corsages of all things?"
"Sure thing.", he said to Chiharu.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015"Okay, so... y'all got a, uh..." Ayers waved a hand around his wrist, way faster than normal, which in turn caused his hand to click and clank rapidly. "Y'know... a core sage...? Like that goes around yer wrist? I done seen it in books before, but I dunno hwut it actually, like, means. Sorry, uh..." He shrugged. "Beacon's Winter Ball's soon, I'mma first year. Y'know, in case y'all couldn't tell by..." He vaguely raised Hrunting and Naegling. "No ideer how this works, and I figgered y'all look real smart, like y'all know all this stuff." He grinned. "Y'all can tell me that, right?"
"That's gotta be it, corsage." Ayers said sheepishly. "Well, first I figger I can look by color, right? Far as I done read y'all give'm to a date, so..." He scanned his eyes across Chiharu quickly, giving as much time to her wings as she'd done to his hands. "I figger I oughta git something that's complimennnery... and I also dunno about color names y'all'd use in yer catalogs." He kept smiling and shrugged. "Whut don't go bad with white? That a gud choice?" He frowned and squinted at her a little closer. "Nother option I got: there a name fer the color a yer eyes, ma'am?"

'They are not a force of nature,' Pius replied; the very idea was anathema to him now. 'They were there at our beginning; I don't see why we can't be there at their end.'

"Which one of them are you going to wear, Alexia?" Pius asked while he and Cyanea made Lucas' cake.
