D 4 C's gone off to bed, so I'm ending the interaction with Feb for now.
Charisse set Feb down, planting a kiss on her forehead. She ruffled the shark girl's hair, then walked over to Ai.
"Yeah, I guess we should go help with that." She replied, leaning over to give Ai a kiss on the cheek.
Maybe one on the neck too, if she'd allow it.

"Gimme your pants.. and now your other pants""Tell you what! It's on me!" she said with a smile blushing slightly.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing."yuns thinking the same"
Glancing over her shoulder, Hope noticed Alexia and Pius returning downstairs to work on that Lucas Cake the latter was so insistent on making through the fire and flames. She furrowed her brows for a moment, but that feeling went away rather quickly. At the very least there was no hostility like the one from before, even before Alfred chose to pipe in with his revelations as to a yesterday night.
"So, back to my train of thought... you two need some fancy clothing for the ball."
Alexia
"...I'm not actually going to cook. That would be a disaster. I..er...will just clean up." Alexia told Cyanea.
Then, she replied to Hope. "Clothes? That's easy enough. I'll contact the palace, if you wish. We have a lot of spares."
Ozpin's Office
"Continue on, Princess."
Alice nodded. "Here's the plan. There's going to be a massive training exercise in four hours. Most of the Arcana troops will be offbase, but Carol won't, as they're still...testing her." She spat out the last words.
"We sneak in during that time, through thr back. Now, I'm really not suited for operations like this, so I'm putting one of you in command."
"...Remus is already a leader. I will follow your orders during the operation."
"Oh?" Hope raised an eyebrow to Alexia's words. Well, that certainly was convenient if somewhat surprising. "I wouldn't want to cause any trouble with this though... I mean, I'm good with my clothing, so it really boils down to what Soph and Yun think." She shrugged a little, indifferent. Dancing was clearly off-limits for her anyway, so she didn't have to stand out of the crowd much.
Flashback
'I hope you do,' Pius replied. 'I'm sorry I burst out like that. It's not in my place to question you.'
Kitchen
Pius simply shrugged at Hope, for he was covered when it came to clothes needed for the ball. The Nobel continued working on the cake while the girls talked, content to just listen on.

"No. It was warranted." The snake matriarch sighs as she shakes her head. "I'm forty-five years old, Pius. There's no way I'm changing the world for the better in my age. However, I can stop it from changing for the worse." She sits down again, sighing. "You can argue with me about the lives of the Arcana all you want, but this...I will make this one with no exception. World's life is mine. He stole my father's face...his voice. Everything about the man I loved was stolen. Would you deny me that?"
"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM Sniper"Well if you go at it with that attitude, than yeah."
She pulled a handful of stuff from the pantry,
"I'm just asking you to measure some stuff and put it in a bowl. It's just like mixing dust for custom rounds, and much less likely to blow up in your face."
She started to grab some measuring spoons and cups as well as a mixing bowl,
"Here, the recipe is on the side of the Cocoa box, just get everything pre-measured while I look for the vanilla."
KITCHEN
Jack immediately turned to Pius. "You're baking a fucking cake?!" He asked, shocked that it was Pius doing this, he hadn't had him pegged as a cake baker.
SVEN
"After all the Arcana attacks, I became worried about you." Jeb said, true, it had been months, but he was very worried about Sven being caught up in the crossfire, he was the older brother, even if it was by a few minutes. "Is it true that children were the ones fighting them?" He asked, deeply worried.
Good to be backKitchen
"Well, of course, Jack," Pius replied matter-of-factly as he moved on to the next step of the baking process. "I made Sophie a cake for her birthday last month, remember? By the way, did she like it?"
Flashback
'That's not very different from how I feel towards the Grimm, ma'am,' Pius replied with an understanding shrug. 'The difference is that my enemy has no soul, and yours, for all the things it's done, still does. My mother told me to never let a light go out while it could still shine; I think you understand what she meant.'

"It is VERY different Pius." The Snake woman said with narrowed eyes. "You have blinded yourself with the darkness of the Grimm, your hatred will shove away all you care because you yourself want it to be that way." She says, gesturing to him. "My eyes? They're wide open. I have a target. I have a purpose. I have no qualms with killing something that should never have existed in the first place." She closed her eyes and sighed, shaking her head as she does so. A few seconds later she looks back to Pius and stares at him, her eyes still narrow. "The Grimm you seek are not things you can hold a grudge against. They are infinite in number, dedicating your life to wiping them out would be a foolish effort and would just kill you. There is only one Claudius Jade, and he belongs six feet underground."

'And don't they?' Pius retorted, fists clenching at what he perceived as a lapse in Francesca's priority. 'After everything they've done to us, long before those like World and long after they're gone, don't those filth deserve worse?'
Kitchen
"It's the least I can do to cheer everyone up," Pius replied as he continued to work. "I'm not one for the kind of cheering up that involves talking. This baking, however? No different from upgrading Dies Irae. It's action, and that I can do just fine."

Francesca's eyes met him, everything in them told him to back down from this argument. "Grimm don't wear faces." She said simply. "And frankly Pius, your own priorities need to be realigned." She said as she brushed past him. "You can't fight the ocean, so why would you be able to fight another force of nature like the Grimm?"

"Well, if you insist..." she relied, a bit nervous, as she scrambled to to do what Cyanea said.
Then, she looked at Yun and Hope. "It's no trouble at all, I assure you. They're just...there, and it's not like anyone wears them normally."

"We leave in twenty minutes." said Alice, nodding at the students.
"Pack up what you need."
