Training room
"Oooh, Nasty." Medus commented from above the two combatants. He was laying back on a fake tree branch and reading his scroll. "Careful there Lexi. 10% missing from that hit. He could end this fight a lot faster than you can. Which is unsurprising, given that you barely sleep."
-dramatic music ensues-"Fine. Take the damn waters! Trying to be responsible-!" grumbled Cosette, bringing the glasses.
The smiling woman...then grabbed Stormer's glass and drank it.
Junior shrugged. "Said it was for Condition Training. He had a girl with him. Dark hair, nasty scars, robot hands. She looked completely out of it."
"What the...hey, that one was for my friend! Order your own, miss!", Stormer said to the mysterious woman.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Alexia completely ignored Medus, focusing on the fight. He's gotten better. Way better.
She saw him throw the punch. That's a feint. Saw him do that before. She was right. As Volsung's blade came at her, she parried with Alastor's edge, and then (ignoring the pain) attempted to slam her shield into his face.
The woman just smirked cockily and tapped him on the nose. She grabbed the other glass and drank that as well. Her eyes seemed to dare Stormer to do something.
Junior nodded. "Yeah, they wanted info on some loony scientist. Steiner or something like that. Wanted some sort of black blood thing."

Now Stormer was rather pissed. This strange woman just took his drinks as if they were her own and gulped them down without saying a word.
"Okay then, missy. You really want a fight?"
He then drew Raijin from its scabbard, and got into a fighting stance.
"Then let's dance."

"I know you can hear me." Medus called out. "There was a spike in your heart rate when I talked. I'm guessing...irritation? I must be goddam psychic or something. Anyway, if you're going to keep missing out on sleep you could at least come to one of our team movie nights, sometime. Quite an eclectic collection we have between us, but it's been good bonding. We...'borrowed' one of your magic kitty movies for the last one, that was hilariously bad. At least that was my opinion of it. You know, so bad it's good."
-dramatic music ensues-Pius' attention to Lucas and Junior's exchange was broken when he heard a sword unsheathing in public. Turning around in his seat, he found a sight that he really did not want to see this early in the morning.
And I thought he wasn't going to cause trouble. The Nobel sighed with exasperation and resignation.
"Stormer, what are you doing raising your sword at the..." He saw who Stormer was facing. "...young lady?"
Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%..."Pius! This weird woman just stole the drinks I was ordering for you and I!", Stormer yelled to his compatriot. He was not about to let the woman get away with her theft.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Alexia continued to ignore Medus. He's not important right now.
Alexia was pushed away and the bullet hit the fire crystal head on. There was a loud FWOOOM as the fire Dust exploded...and a sucking noise as Pax's Absorb System harmlessly drew it into itself.
Alexia smiled under the helmet.
"...My turn."
She activated the Discharge System, and Alastor glowed bright red. She charged, chopping at Remus with a flame-enhanced overhead slice.
The strange woman merely shrugged and didn't stand up. She then gestured at Stormer, as if inviting him to a dance.
...That damn smile was still on her face.
Junior shrugged. "Somewhere outside the walls. ...Make the payment 6000 if you want to know specifics."

Remus mainly just harumphed as he took an ice crystal from his belt and slotted it into Volsung, the blade glowing blue as it became charged with ice. He sidestepped the blow as he slashed Volsung's blade across the ground creating a patch of ice to trip up Alexia before swinging Volsung in an overhead slash.

Beach Flash Back
Francesca tilted her head and stared at Alexia. "Don't bullshit me kid, I know what you're doing. I did it too once, and I almost got killed. You're not keeping your friendships, you're destroying them so you don't hurt them. As if that's something they need at this instant." She answered with a low growl.
Kitchen with Rabbits
Ieria looked up at Belle and gave a small smile. "Oh, hello Belle. I am just tired is all, and I have to go and practice with mother again soon." She said with a small yawn after. "I believe tomorrow is my free day..?"
"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM SniperLET'S GET READY TO RUUUUUUUUUMBLEEEEEEEE!
Stormer then fired a bolt of lightning from his blade at the woman, intent on making her pay for stealing his drinks.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Medus cleared his throat. "You know I'd say this is like talking to a wall, but walls are much more interactive than you are. I mean taking down the Arcana is a priority without a doubt. No I haven't forgotten, I can tell you think I have. But what is the point of destroying monsters if you have to become a ghost, a shadow of your former self to do it? You used to...you know enjoy life. Almost everyone here has lost some of the shine that made them who they are but you Alexia? It's like someone tossed a lovely diamond in motor oil, just a damn shame."
The rocker opened up something else on his scroll before adding an after thought: "Don't make me yell to get a response Alexia, the eardrum is still tender, don't quite have my former skill of judging volume back yet. "
-dramatic music ensues-Beach
"...It's better this way." Alexia told Francesca, looking down at the sand. "They got into this mess because of me, this is the least I can do."
DUEL!
Alexia snarled, finally responding to Medus. "Please don't distract me." Unfortunately, her voice was still the aloof and distant one.
Alexia saw Remus use the ice, and so she discharged fire from Alastor, melting it. And then, red and blue, fire and ice clashed-! Steel against steel. Alexia pushed at him, not letting up.
Bar
Junior took the money. "An island, near Vacuo. You might have heard about it. It's called Hell, after all."
The woman yawned and pointed her parasol. The lightning hit her...and she shatterd like glass, revealing Pius behind her.
Poor Nobel just got lightning to the face.
Remus just let his remain as cold as the ice his blade was charged with. He wasn't letting up either as he traded blow after blow, his training with Francesca (and possibly Oscar) allowing him to wield his sword almost as elegantly as he did with his twin blades. Finally he swiped with his foot, aiming to trip Alexia.
"Playing the tough guy card, huh?" Medus asked, his interest finally peaking. "Fine I can play this tough if you like. But since I'm a nice guy, I'll give you one last chance: Agree to come to the next movie night, or you really won't like what you hear next."

-dramatic music ensues-Beach Back
A strike across the face was Alexia's present as she was knocked onto her back. It felt like she had been struck by a cinderblock being swung on a chain. Francesca had taken up a fighting stance
◊ when she looked at the snake mother again, having stood up quickly and gotten into position. "Are you really that dumb? Doing that will only make you weaker, and if you're weaker than you are now, you will not survive my training." She growled.
The Beach
And Alexia stood up, facing Francesca with a defiant glare on her face. "That's why! That's why I have to be stronger!"
She took her stance as well.
Duel
"Fine." Alexia snapped at Medus, the first time she showed any emotion in that conversation. "I'll go waste my time with a movie."
She continued trading blows with Remus, jumping the trip and aimed a kick to his face.

Junior facepalmed. "...Damn it. should not have provoked the ice-cream chick."

"Have we any intelligence on the range of the priest's powers?" Silvia asked. "I could hide out somewhere and attack him from a distance beyond his Semblence's reach." she suggested. "Also one of these..." she pointed to her sleep arrows, "Should logically force him out cold if it hits."
