Workshop
"...Alright, then." Pius replied as Lucas left. He stared at the ground for many seconds before looking up at Jack.
"Leave that orb and anything else like it on my table; I have the best known equipment for containing stuff like that before we can get it moved somewhere else. At least, I hope I do." Then he looked at Imuka and Ai.
"Not a word of this information leaves this room, understand? Everyone is stressed out enough as it is, and we do not need to dump an existential crisis on them after what happened to some of us at the mall."

Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%...Jack looked at the stone. "Are you sure about that Pius?" He asked, "I'm not exactly sure this is such agood idea..." HE sighed. "I'm just saying that we're playing with some big shit." Before adding, "Besides, we also need to find out who the other anomalies are."

Good to be backWorkshop
"As long as we leave it alone, it shouldn't harm us. The other anomalies could be far away from us, and we could likely have no idea who they are. We can't waste time on this." Pius replied, trying to get Jack to see reason. "Just please, don't do anything with stuff like that and just leave it all here. If Lucas has anything else like that, take it from him too and bring it back here. I should be able to keep those things contained while we figure out what to do with them, I hope."

"Remind me who was the one smashing the orb against the table to see if would fight back, when it had already proven capable of emitting harmful amounts of heat, and now we know it can create hard-light constructs?" Pius replied icily. Weiss would have proud.
"It's not leaving this room, Jack, and that's final."

"Not using it may be the best option we have," Pius argued. "We don't know the full extent of its capabilities, and we don't even really know why that entity gave it to you two. All we know is that it doesn't want you to break it. Would you trust yourself not to do that, Jack?"

"Jack, didn't we just figure out several hours ago that using something as a tool against Arcana is a bad idea?" Pius reminded him. "You know, your idea. Whether it's using the White Fang or this orb, it will only end in disaster, Jack. Don't you get it by now? We don't want any blood on our hands because of your brilliant proposals."

"Oh, and he's certainly told us how to use it to save us, that's for sure," Pius replied sarcastically. "And don't talk to Ai like that, Jack; at least she has her head above her shoulders compared to how you're thinking about this. That orb is not leaving this room until we can get a higher, tangible authority to get a look at it."

Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%..."Like who!?!" Jack demanded, "Pius, you're just a fucking kid-Just like all of us! Stop trying to act like you're the wise one when the mere mention of that Urujuani cunt and you start wallowing in your pity! Alright!? None of us have any fucking idea what the fuck is going on but if we don't use what we have available to us, how can we be able to stop something like Arcana!?"

Good to be back(Ai) Pius's Lab
"Calm down," said Ai.
"On one hand, I don't think anyone trusts you to hold on to it right now. But on the other, the Ultimate Supreme Sovereign King of all Universes gave them to you and Lucas specifically. He obviously wants you to have it. It might not actually be safer to have it in the hands of someone else or leave it locked up," she said.
"Why don't you let me hold on to it for a second? I just want to test a theory."

Workshop
Pius stood and took Jack's verbal abuse with a glare that acted as if it could tear the Reisentoter to pieces with its very existence. He breathed in, and he breathed out as he continued to glare at Jack.
"Don't touch it," Pius warned Ai. "If they're both Anomalies, and that thing gave it to them, then they're probably the only ones who won't be harmed for just touching it." Here he turned away from Jack and started walking back towards his chair.
"Therefore, I suppose Jack and Lucas have the final decision over what to do with the orb. Not me, the Queen, the Council, nor any of the millions of people who could be affected by this thing's existence: just them and whoever else out there is like them. So go on, Jack: take the orb and get out of my workshop, if that's what you want. Just don't ever bring any other team into your mad scheme but your own." Pius waited for the orb to react negatively to Ai's presence, sitting down and clasping his hands while he sat down.

Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%...Jack looked at Ai. He laughed, harsh and humorlessly. "Look at us..." He said, barely loud enough for the others in the room to hear. "All we can do is argue." His tone was disgusted. Maybe Urujuani was right. Maybe he should just leave too...

Good to be back4 AM
Ieria smiled playfully, something only Medus could see, and only from that angle. All the others would see a faint twitch of her mouth as she looked down at him. "Maybe I can make something of yours explode as compensation." She said, an edge of seductiveness to her voice as she let her hands linger before continuing to massage.

"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM Sniper"Nothing," he muttered. "Just need some time to think."
Right now, he didn't want to talk about it. About the flashes of sensations — the metallic scent of blood, the sounds of explosives going off, half-remembered visions of Aura. About the possibility of him having been one of the Arcana.
A criminal as a vital point of reality? What were they thinking?

"The deaths of two universes," Lucas said. "That we know of. And the second one... let's just say I wish it's all just some sick joke."
With that, Lucas stormed out of the workshop, his head spinning with hazy flashes and utter denial.
