Done and done. Will my character be part of an existing team, or will he and three other characters form a new team?

So I guess I should ask, is there room for me to join, or am I still on The List.

Every one who posted after woody is on the list at the moment.

GOA asked me to play as one of the Dodecan Order

• Name: Vlade Croz
• Gender: Female
• Age: 21
• Birthday: Ignis 5th,
• Race: Faunus
• Appearance: Instead of the standard armor used by the knights, Vlade wears a uniform mostly formed from stitched together strips of yellow fabric, (Think this Without the headpiece.◊) She instead wears a hooded facemask, which has the symbol of her station imprinted on the front, underneath, she's a fox faunus with golden eyes, fangs and ear. She has claws on her fingernails and toenails along with a tail.
• Weapons and Equipment: Vlade wields a pair of Kukri knives, which have no special abilities, she's just really good with them.
• Semblance: HASTUR Vlade has the ability to summon her own Grimm like creature know a Hastur, Hastur takes the form of A mass of sickly yellow tentacles and maws of needle like teeth, however, Vlade can only really summon him for a few seconds at a time.
• Personality: Vlade is silent, wether she simply does not like talking or cannot is unknown, however, she makes what she thinks known with body language, making her a bit of a Silent Snarker. However, she mostly tends to smile.
• Bio: The bastard child of a nobel and a Shepard, Vlade spent much of her life working as a shepard, however, when she and her brother were tending to the flock, they were attacked by a pair of Ursas, which awoke Vlade's use of Hastur. Fast forward about ten years, and Vlade is now a member of the knights under the Colour Yellow.

Okay, I think I have an idea.

• Name: Hope Remington
• Gender: Female
• Age: 19
• Birthday: 5th of Folium.
• Appearance: For her "civilian" appearance, please ignore the convenient data in upper left corner. As for her battle attire, here's this,◊ expanded further.
• Weapons:
  • Mauler - the giant zweihander pictured above. The sheer force of the strike and mass of the weapon in question is likely enough to cleave an ordinary man in two, but that's not all Hope Remington has to present. The handle can be revved up like a motorcycle's handle upon which the motor within the blade gets the mass into movement, effectively creating a giant chainsword.
  • Anima - Hope's suit of armor sometimes referred to as a "walking tank". True to form, Miss Remington doesn't exactly wear the suit, but rather is its pilot. Due to certain circumstances regarding her earlier life she came to a conclusion that rather than not getting hit it's better to nullify the hit in question even at cost of maneuverability. As it stands, Anima is made of extremely thick and resistant steel alloys that make it hard for Hope to be knocked down or even pushed around while providing an incredible resistance to damage of all kinds. While the armor has an add-on in form of rocket boosters mounted on her back that allow her to get up, run up a wall or gain a sudden burst of speed, it's still doesn't change the fact that outside of this means Hope sacrificed agility for the sheer toughness and lags behind in that department. The armor is outfitted with a mechanical "inside" leg to replace Hope's missing one for full control over the suit. It also, being a giant suit of armor, allows effective unarmed combat.
  • Both of aforementioned weapons are hidden in Hope's wheelchair and transform into armor/sword combo when a right combination of buttons on its frame is pressed.
• Semblance: None defined. She does have an Aura, but it never specified into anything. There wasn't much need for that.
• Personality: Not afraid to speak what's on her mind to the point of committing social blunders roughly once a day, Hope Remington is a direct and straight-to-the-point person. If something bugs her, she will tell you. If something makes her happy, she will also tell you. While she doesn't mean harm with her words, her emotionless type of speaking can leave people with such an impression. She can get pretty talkative if the topic at hand interests her - tinkering with machinery, heavy metal music, video games and drawing - but otherwise she doesn't speak or emote all that much. Her earlier experiences left her humble and as such she dislikes people who boast about their abilities, whether true or false, exaggerated or otherwise since they remind her of her former self.
• Bio: Born to a military engineer and a veteran Hunter, Hope had dreams. Hope had, well, hopes. Growing up with no problems or traumas whatsoever, she made it a point to join the Beacon and stun everyone into silence with her natural skills. It seemed that she was destined to become a legend: no obstacle was too difficult to overcome, no foe too difficult to beat. As her flawless streak grew with time she developed a lot of ego, coming off as arrogant and mean-spirited. The goal was to impress everyone, to follow in her father's footsteps with a little help of mother's engineering charm. She passed the initial exam to Beacon with flying colors and was suspected to do the same with initiation.
• Something went wrong. Horribly, horribly wrong.
• Nobody is quite certain what exactly happened back then, but the facts were this: Hope's team perished to Grimm present in the woods and she herself just barely got out of the forest, a complete mess of a person. The entire left half of her body was mangled beyond recognition and it was suspected that if she survives this she will be left halfway paralyzed for the rest of her life. Vale's best surgeons worked hard to save her and what's left of her. In the end physical damage was limited "only" to her amputated leg and slight nerve blunting... but it couldn't do much to repair the psychological damage. Hope Remington was a mental wreck. To this day she refuses to tell what happened in the forest that day.
• The incident shattered her worldview into tiny pieces. In no way able to attend Beacon when chained to the bed Hope became quiet and reclusive to the point of uttering merely single words a day. The bravado and arrogance went out the window, replaced with humility to the point of undermining everything she was and what she achieved. Complete convalescence would take time. A year. Maybe more. She was glad that her parents and younger brother were there for her, but the feeling of emptiness remained within her for quite a lot of time. Next two years were spent by her on thinking, mostly about herself and what exactly went wrong. On the bright side she could know finally practice her drawing, something she hadn't time for as a "flawless" student. Catch up on her dusty videogame collection, see what's new in the world of music... effectively become a kid again rather than try to strive for some improbable standard that took away a lot of her childhood.
• It took her two years, but she decided to reapply to Beacon, this time a changed person. There was no point in believing in fairy tales, but there was still a point to be a Hunter. After all, her initial goal was to continue legacies of both her father and mother, not to gain glory and become an arrogant brat she used to. Even if she's not going to become some legendary figure, she's still going to protect the innocent from the Grimm and evil lurking within civilization. Just... gonna be a little bit more reasonable about it this time.
• Misc: She still keeps her previous weapon from her brief time at Beacon, a small, green-bladed wakizashi in her belongings. It was blunted to the point of uselessness by her and now serves only as a grim reminder to not repeat certain mistakes ever again.

Although....um, the Semblance. Everyone in Beacon is supposed to have an Awakened Aura, and therefore a Semblance...

Well, maybe we could just say that she never bothered to find her Semblance due to her arrogance, but her Aura is awakened?

It also means we have the opportunity to give her a Semblance later...

Grim you should probably edit the OP. Semblances are mentioned as optional there.

....It would be better to just put in a Semblance now.

All I said is just... Edit the OP, to make it non-optional. That's the reason people signed up without semblances on their characters.

Seriously am I the only one who noticed that?

Oh, okay. The OP post had me fooled and I think I saw a sign-up mentioning no Semblance.

I... can't say I have any idea for the Semblance in question though. Still, having an Aura is mandatory to be in Beacon in the first place, right?

I'll see what I can do to figure some Semblance out. Glad to know the rest of the sign-up is okay. :) Or, in hindsight, she might simply just have Aura instead. That'd probably be better. ^_^;

The fact that Semblances were listed as optional on the character sheet was the reason why I originally thought it was all right for my character to not have a Semblance. You really aught to correct that on the OP, so anyone else who chooses to sign up won't get the wrong idea and make the same mistake me and Ferg did at first.

Alright. Edited the post so that there's no Semblance yet, but Aura is very much present.

Everyone has aura in this universe. That's how do they all the physically impossible things here.

Eh, another RP did it just so the OP will have a more updated list of the active players. I don't think this is much smaller than that.

Also, you're the one who mentioned you can't do that ever.

I use the computers at school. It's just when I'm at home that I'm always on my phone.

Also, another suggestion to add to the OP: a notice stating that the roster is currently full and that all approved profiles will be sent to the waiting list, as well as a list of those profiles currently in the waiting list. Feel free to disregard my suggestion if you so choose.
