• Name: Falken Gale
• Gender: Male.
• Age: 17

• Race: ...The hint is in the name. ...Falcon faunus.
• Appearance: Wait, what? I DON'T WEAR GLASSES! D:

Weapons and Equipment: D.O.I (Dead On Impact.) A set of mechanical greaves made from the relatively new Sapervi Company. Made from a hybrid of aluminum for lightness and titanium for durability and strength, most of the time, these are mostly an aesthetic touch (and extending into rather fancy boots with a press of a switch) For combat purposes, Falken's main (and probably ONLY fighting ability) is kicking/stomping until a Grimm stops moving, is sliced apart by the talons he has for feet(?) or booting them several blocks and through a wall.

Semblance: Ride the Wind Kouya/Scion of the Wind - While Falken can't actually fly that well, his semblance allows his body to become lighter than air and float like a feather in the wind. While he can't get that high, his mobility and agility practically skyrocket, being able to attack from the land or sky. ...The thing is, the effect can be applied to whatever is unfortunate to be on the receiving end of one of his kicks, meaning they're likely to be going for quite a long flight and a rough landing.

Personality: Laid-back and easy-going, Falken never was one to worry about the little details...or much at all, really. Having a smile on his face, he seems a bit paradoxical with him being surprisingly bright, but preferring to get things done quickly and without much effort...and sometimes having his head in the clouds. A sucker for cute girls and a bit of a flirt, his manners are at least sharp and friendly attitude means while a little irritating, he's rather loyal and quick to jump into action to defend a friend in need.

Bio: ...Growing up in a family with at least five other siblings, Falken would always be considered the odd one out, and not simply because he was the only one to be born male. A falcon faunus without wings meant little to his family, meaning his life at home was pleasant and stable, while school, most would-be bullies backed off the moment they realized while he was still stuck on the ground, arguing with someone with razor-sharp talons could be a costly mistake. Gliding through high-school, but not really having any direction or plans, he ended up at Beacon.

So wait, does Falken have blades in DOI?

Well, no. Basically, if he has DOI in boot-mode, he's just flat out stomping/kicking them. If not, he's using the talons on his feet to slash at Grimm.

Thanks. The big things you should have watched before coming here are the RWBY episodes (trailers wouldn't hurt either) and the World of Remnant segments, which basically make up our worldbuilding constitution. You can find the fourth World of Remnant segment by searching for it.

Alright, I am now caught up, for the most part. Here's my guy for the future.

• Name: Grigori Nikitich
• Gender: Male
• Age: 18
• Birthday: Cor 21
• Race: Faunus (Raven)
• Appearance: Grigori is 6'0'' and has a slender build. He has gray hair and a slight stubble. He wears a gray longcoat with his symbol, a feather crossed with a bullet, on the back as well as a black t-shirt and a black vest underneath. He wears gray cargo pants and brown boots. No points on guessing his favorite color. His longcoat has two open slots for his wings to help him fly.
• Weapons and Equipment: Squall: An anti-material rifle mixed with a polearm, which fires various dust infused bullets whether it would be incendiary or electric. The dust can also be used to create trails left by the slashes from the blade, as if it was covered in it mid-attack. Resembles an OSV-96 in rifle mode and a Sovnya in polearm mode.
• Semblance: Forecast: He can change the weather within a small area to help him either even the odds or to cause a diversion. He usually summons storms that last up to half an hour and he can only change the weather twice without putting a huge strain on his body.
• Personality: Although, it may not look like it due to his snark, distant and sometimes ruthless nature, and liking battle a bit too much, he is actually a kind person and an avid reader and poet.
• Bio: Grigori was just 14 in Atlas when he saw a mysterious man adopted him from a foster home, since his parents could not afford to have him. That man served under a splinter faction of the White Fang, the Black Talon, a group of nomads who hide themselves from society because of their shady methods. They use said methods to shepard humans from the Grimm and terrorists instead of killing and oppressing them, led by a notorious criminal Babina Yagana. Despite their active defiance towards them, they often avoid the White Fang in open confrontation due to the sheer numbers and better equipment. The man in question became a mentor for him for 3 years until his death by a large group of Grimm while on a mission to rescue a village from them. He then, trained and trained, honing his skills further until he heard of Beacon. With the help of his comrades, and some string-pulling from his superior, he has filled out the application and set off.

• I suppose my first complaint is that your guy already has two weapons right out of the starting gate. Would suggest specializing your man into one or the other.
• Nitpick: Man, 19?

Other than that, I got no problems with him. But it's Grim who has to approve you.

1) I guess he keeps Squall. An Elemental Anti-Material Halberd fits him better.

2) No one said anything about late entries. But if you want him to be 18, fine with me.

Coincidentally, that's basically the same weapon as the character who left. Funny coincidence. And the other point was a nitpick; you don't have to actually listen to me on that second one. If you want him to be 18 like I suggest, go ahead. But I'm definitely suggesting you go with one weapon.

• Name: Vynce "Oranges" Goldinn
• Gender: Male
• Age: 18
• Birthday: Flos 12
• Race: Human
• Appearance: Vynce stands at a mere 5’7”, and his soft, pale features could be easily overlooked by others if he didn’t always wear a grey, winter coat that concealed everything but his face. His excuse is that he gets cold easily, but his cheeks redden whenever he has to do anything strenuous. His calm, green gaze remains hidden by orange-rimmed sunglasses, which he also refuses to take off. Underneath his thick covering, he wears solid-colored t-shirts, grey jeans and comfortable, bright orange running sneakers. He also keeps an orange scarf wrapped around his neck. Vynce keeps his chin tucked into his coat, and hides his crooked smile and sharp chin. He has night-black hair that fall to his ears. His body structure is frail and effeminate. Vynce’s only redeeming factor are his tough legs.

• Weapons and Equipment:
  • Marius A.K.A. Lamp Cannon: At first it may seem like a regular, grey metal, orange shade, 4-foot floor lamp, but upon closer inspection, there is no lightbulb and no base. The interior of the shade glows with the help of dust. The shade is also as light and strong as the base. When in its lamp form, little dust is used to keep it lit and the shade can be retracted. When open, the shade can project dust explosively from its end, in a burst of linear fire. The lamp is also fully capable of being used as a rod and can be elongated or shortened at will, with its maximum length reaching to 10 feet or approximately 3 meters, and its minimum length to 1 foot, with the shade being a foot long and a foot wide.

• Semblance: Intangibility Vynce is able, for a maximum of two seconds, allow his body and anything he is in contact with, as long as the combined mass is no larger than his body mass, to be intangible. He cannot allow dust or aura based attacks to phase through him. He cannot perform it in rapid succession, and it requires a full hour to recharge or he will experience extreme exhaustion and emotional fatigue.

• Personality: Vynce is at a glance, shy and reserved. He prefers to observe more than to intervene, and is good at spotting details. He is optimistic and is often in a good mood, but keeps all this positive energy to himself. He does not speak unless spoken to, or if the topic at hand is something he is passionate about. He is passionate about oranges, animals, Hunters, running, and lamps. He disdains having to explain the reasons he does things and will often respond with silence. He has experienced a lot of ridicule, but has never been bothered by being the ‘odd one out’. He likes to do things his way, and would rather support the group from the sidelines than be the one rushing ahead in battle. Vynce has earned the nickname oranges by the way he eats oranges, peel and all, during any situation. Sometimes even in the middle of battle. He finds it a great source of Vitamin C and much needed stress-relief.

Bio: Vynce’s childhood was filled with stories about Grimm, humanity’s struggle to survive, and most of all engrossed with the idea that humanity overcoming these dangers was a beacon and sign of inspiration to all. Vynce attended normal education classes. His uncle had previously served on the battlefield as a Hunter, but he retired due to losing a limb. It was because of his uncle that Vynce obtained his love for the Hunters, and though he never believed he would risk his life, their stories enraptured his growing, adolescent mind. His Uncle Marius was also gripped by Vynce’s interest in the matter, for the rest of their family didn't care about the dangers surrounding their walls.

It was Vynce’s Uncle that introduced him to dust, semblance and other habits that the Hunters revolved their lives around. Vynce was a steady learner. He hated the idea that some hunters were cocky, despite holding the lives of humanity in their hands. Vynce loved tinkering with dust and once he managed to use his aura properly, his uncle decided to show him what a Grimm looked like. With the makings of a Hunter in his blood, Vynce came along with Marius just to take a peek at a creature. The next day, Vynce wept at his Uncle’s coffin, holding his lamp next to his deceased face. His uncle died trying to ward off the Grimm, since more were attracted by Vynce’s anxiety despite his Uncle warning him about negative emotions. From then on, Vynce promised he wouldn’t let pessimistic thoughts control him.

Before his Uncle died, however, he mentioned the training program at Beacon. Vynce named his weapon Marius after his uncle. After wrestling with his parents to go to Beacon, Vynce filed an application.
