- Appearance: Ochre happens to be a young man with an athletic build, but rather ordinary when it comes to height (5'11") and weight (just shy of 160 lbs). He wears a black coat with rust-orange details along it, with armored shoulder pauldrons and arm guards. He keeps his style simple, preferring a utilitarian slant to the clothes he wears. If he's wearing it, you can probably bet that there'll be something useful stashed somewhere on it (usually an area-appropriate map [when available], a bit of food, ammo, repair/upkeep kit for his weapon of choice, and a hunting knife for all-purpose tasks. He has several piercings along both ears and stylized eyes tattooed on his hands.
He has a case for his weapon when not in use, and in the feild keeps it sheathed on his back.
- Weapons and Equipment: Ochre wields the Schwartzwulf , a weapon combining the
bestmost awesome aspects of a chainsaw, sword, and assault rifle all in one convenient package. while used as a (chain)sword, he makes use of his unusually high dexterity to wield it with utmost grace. When in rifle mode, it can be chambered with several different Dust-infused ammunition types;
Red; Explosive
Grey: Buster (armour piercing)
Blue: Cloud ("flame"thrower)
Yellow: Arc (Lightning)

- Semblance: Faustus overDRIVE; Ochre can affect the flow of time on inanimate objects, slowing them down or speeding them up for short bursts, the duration and effectiveness depending on the amount of matter being manipulated; for instance, should Ochre find a boulder being flung his way, he could affect the time it took to reach him in order to dodge safely. Conversly, should he kick a rock himself it could very well hit far more quickly [OOC and I assume forecfully] due to the timestream manipulation. Of note is that any objects directly in contact with living beings cannot be affected by the overDRIVE mechanics. [OOC TL;DR, Taco's idea is aweome and I wish I had thought of it like that]
- Personality: Ochre has a bit of a cocky attitude, but usually plays well with others. He has great talent and has a drive to train train train! Having a strict moral code, he strives to use his skills for the greater good, and keeps an upbeat air about him. Being a bit fearless he usually finds himself in situations that he hasn't thought through completely, but his bravado usually keeps him afloat in the end. He enjoys seeing himself and others improve in ability and is the type to say "Let's try it again" if a technique he is working on doesn't go quite as planned. He rather enjoys the company of others, and is quick to try and befriend those he meets.
- Bio: Ochre comes from a long line of adventurers and heroes, and his childhood was relatively normal, not counting the training he was put through in preparation to uphold the family name. Fully embracing his family name and occupation, he has the support of his relatives in attending Beacon Academy to gain and sharpen the skills he needs and has. Hoping to uphold justice and [[Sophisticated As Hell lay some beatdown on the bad guys]], he enrolls in the Academy.
[In an OOC Note, I have watched Volume One of RWBY, but it has been a while, though I've been meaning to go through it again due to recent events, but my schedule is hectic to say the least these days...And if anything needs editing or a brush-up I'll be happy to work that out; this is the first character with this sort of depth I've attempted so far ever.]

I don't see how things like double accele would break an RP, since they don't force any thing outside of the individual players post.

I would recommend that instead you allow that acceleration or deceleration to work on objects that aren't directly touching people. This is also how a lot of RP's moderate telekinesis. I could see some insane utility coming out of, for instance, slowing down a door's passage through time to make it a pain to open/close, or speeding up a car to assist in a high-speed chase.

- Name: Sky Caeruleum
- Gender: Male
- Age: 17
- Birthday: Ventus 9th
- Race: Human.
- Height: 5'7"
- Appearance: Sky usually wears a black long-sleeve t-shirt under a blue hoodie with a white cloud on the shoulder. With this, he wears navy-blue pants with dark-gray sneakers. Sky has emerald- green eyes, short, dark brown hair and a slightly lanky frame. He also wears a watch-looking limiter to keep his semblance in check.
- Weapons and Equipment: Portable Energy Cell, ECG (Energy Control Grips). Unlike the name suggests, these are actually a set of weapons which function like Aqua-Lad's in Young Justice. But instead of using water, they use energy from the cell on his back to create mainly his twin swords(Whirlwind) and handguns(Twister). The grips can absorb energy from power sources, such as the power cell on Sky's back, to create the blades of Whirlwind and the triggers, chambers, ammo, and other parts of Twister.
- Semblance: Energy Manipulation. Sky can manipulate his aura and other energy sources to create energy constructs. His weapons are based off this, but on a more controllable scale. When he uses his semblance to manipulate energy, he can only absorb large amounts of energy to create a large humanoid avatar to fight with. This form reduces fatal blows to mere scratches and bruises, as well as giving Sky a huge advantage on the battlefield. The problem is he can only use this avatar for an absolute maximum of 30 seconds, after which he can and very possibly will, collapse.
- Personality: Sky has a somewhat carefree, but mature personality. He isn't a real big fan of sexists and racists, but can and will ignore them. Sky has a very joking nature, but will be more mature when the situation calls for it. Sky is a little lazy and often falls asleep when nothing interesting is happening. He is also kind of socially awkward, which he is a little embarrassed by. Overall, he is a fairly easy going person.
- Bio: Ever since he was born in Eastern Vale, something has always stood out about Sky Caeruleum. When he was born to Mical and Veronica Caeruleum 17 years ago, most of the lights in Eastern Vale started flickering. After about a week, the doctors figured out that Sky was the source of the flickering power. After a few months, the doctors placed a limiter on Sky's wrist to keep his ability in check. Sure enough, the flickering stopped. Sky would then begin on his path as a Huntsman when he was 6 years old. When he was playing by the east wall of Vale, a small Beowolf slipped through a crack in the wall and attacked Sky. The terrified toddler could only squeak in terror. Just as the monster was about to deal the finishing stroke, a blade cut straight through the monster. Sky looked up and saw his savior, a Huntsman. To this day, he still doesn't remember what the Huntsman looked like. But it didn't matter to Sky. He now had a dream to help those in need, even if it wasn't from a monster. Sky eventually graduated from Signal and is hoping to one day enter Beacon, so he can finally become a Huntsman.

- Name: Mau Xam
- Gender: Male
- Age: 17
- Birthday: Early Finem
- Race: Human
- Appearance: Mau is short and thin, sitting just shy of 5'4" and 120 pounds. His seemingly fragile form betrays his strength and agility, having a decent amount of muscle for his size and about as acrobatic as one might expect from such. Shaggy black hair just barely brushes against the edges of his notably silverish eyes. His default outfit of choice is a plain, light gray long sleeved turtleneck shirt combined with dark gray pants. The shirt is, bare of anything else, emblazoned with a two small triangles side by side, a minimal recreation of generic animal ears. He always has a pair of gloves on, being his weapon of choice. In the winter he dons a thick, black jacket with a fur lined collar.
- Weapons and Equipment: The normal, rather unassuming form his weapon takes outside of combat is simply a pair of thin, innocuous gloves. On activation these gloves become lightly plated in a malleable metal, becoming what he calls his Cong Vat . In this form, there are three different sub-forms that it can cycle through. Initially the gloves are adorned with small claws, about the size of natural ones. These claws can extend into much longer claws, practically a set of curved spikes. (Think Lady Deathstrike of X-men fame.) Finally, they can morph further into what can best be described as thin knife blades of a similar length. In this form they can be thrown/shot out at high velocity towards targets, each blade being connected to the gloves by a wire for manipulation and retraction. They can also be detached when shot, upon which they will be immediately replaced with new claws that will change into more knives for throwing.
- Semblance: Change The World. Mau has limited matter manipulation abilities, being able to reshape almost any nonliving object that he can touch, provided it keeps the same mass. Density can be manipulated in order to make an object smaller or larger, although this has its limits. He cannot affect matter in direct contact with another living being, leaving it unusable in a straightforward manner in battle.
- Personality: Mau is about as timid as his form suggests, shy and just a bit nervous around new people. He actually enjoys the company of others, and in fact loves large crowds. He essentially has a kind of stage fright that prevents him from outwardly showing his inner sociability.
- He can work up the courage to approach individuals, forcing himself to become more comfortable with others one person at a time. If approached himself, he retains his mild persona, but is more than capable of making a connection with the other.
- When he can show himself, Mau is polite, soft spoken, but upbeat. Even if he doesn't speak much, he works with actions instead, hoping to be a reliable teammate and partner. In fact, in the field his quiet timidity morphs subtly into a silent seriousness. He is focused, ruthless against enemies and does his best to work efficiently.
- Bio: Mau's exact date of birth is unknown to him, having been abandoned at birth. Whether his parents are dead or not are a mystery, let alone their identities. Luckily for the newborn, a pair of cat Faunus found him bundled up safely near their home, and took him as their own.
- He knew he was human growing up, and for a time donned false cat ears in order to try fitting in with the Faunus he was raised with in the neighborhood... Obviously this wasn't a very effective tactic, so he later had to abandon the attempted facade and face what may come his way as a human among Faunus. To his surprise, he did not get the backlash he expected. At worst, it was a begrudging acceptance. After all, if his adoptive parents loved the human, then it couldn't be a bad one. On the other side, humans who saw him with Faunus treated him as one of them as well, being just as nasty and spiteful to him as they were to the others.
- The Hunters, however... They never bore ill will towards him or his friends when he saw them. Human and Faunus together of their own will, working together to make a better world.. He wanted that. That was the world he wanted to see. And if he had to shape that world with his own two hands, he would.
- With his adoptive parents' blessing, he applied and was accepted into one of the numerous beginning academies of Atlas, creating his clawed gloves as a memento to his Faunus connections. Despite being in Atlas he strove to join Beacon Academy, a dream he was ecstatic to find coming to fruition upon graduation. He felt empowered, motivated, excited... This was the first step to changing the world. Now if only he could be a bit more forward with his peers..

- Name: Iskandar Hway Gwan
- Gender: Male
- Age: 19
- Race: Faunus (Pangolin)
- Appearance: Iskandar is pretty massive, standing at just above 1.9 meter with a bulky build, surmounted by slicked back brown hair reminiscent of his species' scales, along with just as brown eyes. He's usually wearing the heaviest, widest clothing he can find, such as thick winter jackets and cargo pants.
- Weapons & Equipment:
- The Judge, a bulky suit of armor
designed after a bomb disposal suit, which can seal itself from the outside air, providing the user with an internal air supply. No power armor, no fancy gadgets, just 80 pounds of pure defense.
- The Jury, a heavy-duty ballistic shield, Which when laid flat, can deploy a pair of threads and a manipulator arm, effectively turning into a bomb disposal robot
◊, which can either be remote controlled or operate on its own. Furthermore, its robot form also includes a weapon mount, which often carries...
- The Executioner, an automatic shotgun, able to fire a variety of conventional payloads, as well as shells loaded with dust or chemicals.
- Police Brutality, a reinforced telescopic baton, Iskandar's weapon of choice when Jury and Executioner are doing their own thing, along with heavyweight wrestling moves. A compartment in the handle can be loaded with a battery or dust to act as a stunbaton.
- The Judge, a bulky suit of armor
- Semblance: The Juggernaut: This ability makes Iskandar basically behave as if he had nearly infinite inertia, barely flinching from the heaviest attacks, while pushing around the opposition with relative ease.
- Personality: Loud, boisterous, unflinching; Iskandar's behaviour perfectly mirrors his fighting style. He tends to act as a big brother of sorts, Always ready to provide his brethren in need of his strength or advice.In rare occasions, he can show a quieter side, especially when working on one of his projects, and can get quite passionate when discussing the technical detail of his work.
- Bio: Iskandar always was known as the big guy from an early age, which was a plus when growing in a rough neighborhood, where having to defend oneself was not too uncommon, and he ended up doing just that quite a bit on behalf of his family and friends. He eventually gained an interest in explosives, both making and defusing them, from his uncle, a retired EOD technician, which later expanded into a passion for chemistry in general. Joining Beacon was kind of a self-evident choice for him; He didn't know much besides fighting, and he just wanted to help people. Making Mommy proud would be a plus, too.

Hm, yeah, between the weapons problem and equipment grab bag thing, which I think is really hard to keep fun and fair because of most gadgets being extremely situational, I think I might just drop the idea entirely, because I don't see how I could implement things without keeping the theme here, what do you think?
