Many things could be said of the Remington Clan, one of the most renowned Valoran families that continued to be of importance through the years in services of kings, nobles and other such characters, noted as the most loyal retainers one could get. Ever since Hieronimus Remington, the ancient progenitor of these white-haired warriors and Hunters, made himself famous as the first man to kill an ancient, unnamed Grimm the size of a small mountain on his own and singlehandedly avert the twilight of early Valoran civilization, their fame continued.

Not all Remingtons were famous, naturally, but these that were made their name for themselves with grand and heroic deeds. Twins Castor and Ignis, two most loyal guards of the ancient Valoran dynasty that came many years before the dynasty of Vale and are rumoured to honor their fallen queen deep in the unknown land, even in death. Isabel, one of the famous team to halt the charge of the mighty Kurira and put the terrible Grimm to slumber. Benedict, known also as "The Bane of Vampreys". Logan, my grandmother and Beacon's top alumnus for over fifty years.

My name is Marcus Lothar Remington and I'm afraid to say that my search for a heroic deed or an otherwise exceptional achievement has long withered out of my head. No, I dare to say that I have long achieved something I shall treasure forever until cessation: a loving wife, two great kids and a source of enjoyment that is putting the Grimm in their place now and then.

Will turn forty one by 6th of Crystallum. Moderately tall, moderately buff. Still a Hunter, so keeping some sort of shape is compulsory. Kind of gung-ho about fighting, I suppose. Always was the one to enjoy scraps, even as a kid. That said, it was never meant in ill will. I just like the thrill, so no matter who won and who lost we all walked home laughing rather than crying. Sadly, Grimm don't return the sentiment of healthy sportsmanship.

These days I tend to fight more with my Semblance than anything else, but I do carry with a sword with myself. Keindahan, an old family heirloom that has seen the times of the Twin Guards. Thanks to my wife - an accomplished military engineer - we've managed to tune it up a bit, so now it can also fire rockets all over the place when melee combat is not advisable. As for the Semblance, I call it Tetra: control over elements. Good old Benedict supposedly had something similar. Simply put, I can grow out massive rock spikes from under the ground, gather the wind to smash it at the enemy, form a small flame into a threatening blaze and so on and so forth. Can't make them out of nothing, so I keep a few, you could call them, catalysts: a number of lighters, a bottle of water, some dirt with rocks and, in case things get really crazy, a bottle of the kind scuba divers use when submerging with some pressurized air.

Oh, and I happened to fistfight with an Oni once. Keeping my blows sharp in case his bros come at me for a rematch.

I live my life cheerfully. I don't need to pretend to be anything more than I am any longer and can just enjoy my time, be it by being a bumbling dad that blows up his daughter's console by merely touching it - I swear, technology escapes me completely - or a veteran Hunter that knows how to swiftly and efficiently put down any Grimm I come across. If you need a hand, I will provide both. It's just how I roll.

Ai and Charisse's relationship is worsening as time goes on due to ghost-posession apprehension on Ai's part.
