At the very least, we all put some serious creativity into our characters' weapons.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015I've had to stop myself also from working out the fact that Remus may or may not be skilled as a Dust Weaver, as I'm worried theres too much stuff already there and the fact that it would kind of come out of nowhere in my opinion...
Course his dust weave scarf was indeed made by Remus but it is purely aesthetic.
Hey guys, I'm gonna post what little I have thus far of my first recap, so you all can get an idea of what I'm doing with it. Would you all care to read it?
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Alright, here's what I've got thus far of the first of my recaps! I've decided to go with a lemony narrator like that of Battleblock Theater, so hopefully you all will get a laugh or two out of this! I'll add more as I complete it, but let me know what you guys think!
(For the best effect, read this in the voice of the Battleblock Theater narrator.)
"Hello boys and girls! Ladies. And a-gentlemen. It's your good old friend Lemon E. Narrator, bringing you another exciting chapter of Beaconblock Theater! Buckle your pants and get ready, because I have quite the exciting story for you today!"
- Page 36:
- "What's this? Someone's caused an explosion aboard The Golden! Who could have done such a heinous deed? I don't! Do you? I don't! Do you? I don-"
- "Now everybody tries to make an escape from the boat as it sinks, grabbing as much of that luxurious artwork as possible to save! They'd best be careful not to fall in the water though. I saw someone peeing in it."
- "Meanwhile, back at Beacon, Jack is seeing a psychiatrist. That doesn't seem very exciting to me. About as boring as eating doo doo casserole with a side of butt salad, to be frank."
- "Nearby at the docks, Glen tries to reconnect with his lovely wife Kate...only to be interrupted by the explosion on the boat. Now that's what I'd call a moment-killer!"
-the rest of P36-40 is still under construction-
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015The childish jokes and demeanor are intentional. Like I said, Lemon E. Narrator is based off of the BattleBlock Theater narrator, toilet humor and all. I can write far more mature characters, but I decided to have a little fun with this one.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Alright then, I'll make sure to improve the humor when I finish the whole recap.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Most of Stamper's charm in Battleblock comes from the voice I think. Also the terrifying knowledge of all the other insanity he's made, like that Street Fighter video from like 2011.
Anyway. Made Ayers how he is because he's a combination of a lot of things your average nerd hates: southerners, conservatives, idiots, bigots, and characters who eschew stylish finesse for raw, stupid strength. Make him as incongruous at Beacon as possible.

Not satisfied myself, but the fun part about playing an engineer is it is not too hard to re-work her tools and stuff within reason.
