So, I wanna nerf Rufus's weapon some, and limit it to three forms:
Form 1: Sanguis, when the faux-sheathe is attached to the hilt and made into an uber cutting blade. This is same as what it is now.
Form 2: Aspernor, where the faux-sheathe has become a shield and its rejection crystals are active. I want this also to somehow force the Vorpal Blade to remain at bastard sword length.
Form 3: Vorpal, and by turning of the shield's rejection crystals, this will allow the Vorpal Blade's compression crystal to go active and "decompress", letting the blade extend.
Should I just retcon this or integrate an IC explanation for the change? What would be the IC reason for the limit between 2 and 3?
@GOA: Depends. Has Rufus done little enough with his weapon that we could just retcon its functions, or has he done enough with it that would necessitate an IC post or two to change the weapon to your proposed state?
@Troy: Hm, in my opinion, only if it can be integrated with his current weapons.
@Aqua: Uh, in your last post...
Which one should say "Remus"?
Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%...@Insano: Not in the fashion that contradicts what I wrote above.
I think the reasoning shall be that the dust crystals used in the faux-sheathe and the handle each are quantum synced, appropriate for the Maddox's reality warping madness, which makes them more efficient in general but enforces that only one be on at a time.
@Grim: Oh I guess the fact that Ieria went looking for the thing with the others doesn't warrant them finding it with Jack? :P It's fine, guess we'll have them arrive on cue.

"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM SniperHe used be the Littlest Cancer Patient, although perhaps dying of something else. Whoever organized the Arcana found him and liked the cut of his jib, like how he kept organizing his Make-A-Wish gifts to help some other kid or some Purity Sue stuff like that.
So, they decide to infuse him full of dust and make their own little super soldier.
I'll write a more in-depth list for the three forms and the reasoning behind it and link it to Rufus's profile.
Now, a look at Rufus's Semblance, the Juggernaut Stance. It makes him more dense, warping reality to do so. The effect is that he's, obviously, heavier. Either as a Required Secondary Power or just a logical progression of effect, he is also stronger. The real kicker is how much tougher it makes him.
See, he's rrreal tough against anything that required a physical medium to transfer, physical attacks. Being shot, stabbed, bludgeoned. His own aura backed by his semblance means he shrugs those things off. Fire, frost, electricity, non-kinetic energy. Well, his semblance still grants him resistance to it but not as great.
So, I bring this up because Rufus is entangled with the beast and Noa is gonna score some friendly fire there.

What Azure said is partially true. Reason is real life and co-gming an RP but, also I tried to think what to post several times. And didn't come up with much interesting or interactive. And I thought I'll just have him hiding in the shadows and following the princess to make sure she's safe, even though he sounds like a stalker.
And if he is sneaking and is mildly good at it I don't really need to post for him hiding just so he'll be discovered by someone right? I mean sneaking doesn't involve any interaction. Actually the point of sneaking is y'know. To avoid interaction.
If Grim tells me I have to post something I will. But for now I stay quiet if you people don't mind.
