Titans has been renewed
early for Season 3.
^Serious or joking mode? Because I felt like the finale was awesome until Donna's death That broke immersion and had me and my friend going 'WTF?'
My AO3![]()
Heard that one before, I believe it when I see it
Season 2 was... about the same really
alot of the season seemed to be damage control from the first season
all the walking back on Bruce just makes it look like Dick was really just not wanting to admit he had devolved into a psychopath fueled only by his need to hurt people and he was blaming Bruce for daring to give him a moral center that told him it was wrong and that wouldn't just let him go over the edge.
Granted bruce is still negligent about Jason but he has to have some legit flaw.
you had meh season premiere with a blah season finale, Deathstroke went down about as anticlimactically as Trigon, If the titans had taken him down together sure but it was mostly just a 2 on 1 with Ravager as the girls just kinda stay out of it so they can swoon over dick Hell Donna dying in a melee with Slade makes alot more sense than her having to save Dawn who A: can't remember her goggles B: decides to walk like a mother chicken under a falling pylon!
Aqualad is probably the best episode cause the Titans are at their most likable.
Titan's Dawn is still a dumpster fire and no telling me " but Bruh, Minka Kelly's Hawt!' is not a valid deflection of the problem with her nigh sociopathic behavior.
Titan's Hank is pretty much Roy with the love interests and drugs of choice changed 'Roy and Hank couldn't stand each other cause it was like looking in a mirror' He is pretty much carrying the emotional arc of the two
Raven and Garfield were kidna just there... cept when Raven just needed to fix the problem... cause her powers can just fix whatever. I mean yeah they'd got a good scene every once in a while but they might as well have stayed with the doom patrol
Starfire... Anna deserves fucking better any scene where she gets to be away from the other bullshit is GREAT. though the finale not makes me question are Blackfire and Starfire basically just parasite aliens in human hosts?
Also there was alot of CW level grab the Conflict Ball for the sake of grabbing the Conflict Ball
IE Someones screwing with us... Clearly it must be the poor kid who we just got back from the vengeful Stalker Supervillain who would know certain details about us to screw with us like this over the poor kid he was torturing... Let's blame the poor kid

This is an outrage against Luminara!Second season overall was pretty disappointing. Especially the finale nothing made any sense. I wished the writers would have tightened the focus I think they introduced too many characters too fast. I really liked some individual components of the season but things didn't really run congruently in the end.
Hopefully season 3 is better but I dunno.
Macron's notes![]()
This guy sounds as insufferable and painful to listen to as ever.
"Why did it take so long for Dick to know Jericho was possessing Slade"?
Because there were no clues that Dick could have seen? It isn't like he saw Jericho jump into Slade's body and nothing about most of Slade's behavior suggested he was possessed. The only people who guessed it were the ones who knew it was from the comics.

Conner was an excellent episode, and they had characters I liked (Garth, Jericho). I joked with my friend that the best new characters all died in flashbacks.
It's not amazing, and really feels like they need to straighten out their arcs. But there were good scenes, and it felt less depressing than s1. Especially since you could see Gar and Conner wanting to be heroes, and had Dick finally get called out and stop being whiny.
My AO3I do find it kinda funny that the two characters that effectively split Roy's main character beats Hank and Garth are best buddies in the past
Hank has all of Roy's issues 'While the too being similar was noted in the early days... Roy was WAY more of the Jerk of the Two while Hank was more of a Brutal Honesty type but unlike Roy was much quicker to admit his mistakes' Hell he even has the toxic female relationship ala Chesire
and Garth got the romantic/doomed aspect with Donna
This is an outrage against Luminara! It´s not even regression, it´s just what happens when you don´t have a clear idea of what you want to do with every main and supporting character, and you want the story to have certain things but don´t bother thinking about how things should progress from one point to another.
I mean, they make dick feel all that self guilt about unintentionally leading jericho to his death that he only gets over after 5 years because he realizes jericho might not actually be dead, yet garfield shouldn´t feel bad about personally killing a lot of people because maybe it wouldn´t have happened if dick was there to help him...
I wonder if the writers will acknowledge in season 3 that all the titans except maybe dove and jason are official criminals and are to be arrested on sight.
Well, I said maybe because with jason and dawn I don´t think there´s real evidence they did it, or even that they were involved. Then again, while Hank is easily traced back through the guy that stole his suit, that would also prove he didn´t actually rob the laudry, so i guess he should be on the clear as long as stays away from the drugs.
As for saying that a random villain did it...Yeah I think only gar and conner have a chance of that excuse sticking, assuming cadmus´ brain tinkering left traces.
Hell not even krypto is free from a criminal record since he attacked cops when conner decided to play grand theft auto with cheats in real life.

Catching up on Season 2 now. Being politically incorrect is 1 thing but do these people actively go out of their way to try some kind of record with using the F Word as many times as possible in a Superhero series or something? Jesus.
Certified: 48.0% West Asian, 6.5% South Asian, 15.8% North/West European, 15.7% English, 7.4% Balkan, 6.6% ScandinavianWhile it still was somewhat fun, Seaosn 2 just had way too many flashbacks and way too many characters to focus on.
Also, Donna's death was just straight up ridiculous. Her powers were really all over the place throughout the whole series.

Apparently Alan Ritchinson originally thought he was playing Hawkman.
