So I'm watching this. I believe I'm in episode 4 or 5.
...Fuck Batman may not have done this show justice. Nor the stuff with Starfire looking so human.
But it's still early.
One Strip! One Strip! For me, the fourth episode, "Doom Patrol," is when everything got really great. Mainly because I love the Doom Patrol.
I will get DC Universe for the course of Doom Patrol's run (during which time I will also watch this and Young Justice). That seems like the tipping point for me. The roughly three to four months (assuming 10 - 14 episodes) that takes will be the price I'm willing to pay for those three shows.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI'd watch Stargirl and Swamp Thing, too, since both seem to be getting some amazing casting choices and Swamp Thing is being produced (and perhaps directed?) by James Wan.
Who?
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundAquaman director.
Where there's life, there's hope.Ah.
And this is a good thing? I know Aquaman isn't supposed to be bad, but from what I've heard, it's not really great or anything either. It also doesn't give me confidence that it's going to be faithful to the comics, at least in tone. I've been reading Moore's run, and it is far from a cheesy popcorn flick.
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundJames Wan also directed The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 and is a pretty damn good horror director. Aquaman had great direction — the problems it had were solely in it's script and even there, I was able to overlook them due to the sheer wonder on screen.

Aquaman also had really great scene ripped straight out of a horror movie.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Assuming Superman can show up in this series, there is one thing I hope they do with him and Kon. Show Clark is being uncomfortable with the fact that someone made a clone of him without his knowledge and consent and acknowledge that is completely reasonable and does not make Clark a bad person by any means.
I don't know if they will include Superman. After all, we haven't even seen Batman's face.
So basically do the YJ version of Superman's reaction to Kon with a bit more from Superman's perspective. Not a bad idea.
My AO3A 30-minute video essay that summarizes a lot of the problems I have with the show, by a guy who got a lot of flack for defending it pre-release and early in its run.

Wait, so the season ends with Trigon winning? lol Darker and edgier indeed.
Mileena MadnessAs pointed out in the video, there's enough behind-the-scenes footage of scenes that never happened that it's clear at least one entire episode was cut from the season, likely a finale where Raven exorcises Trigon and starts wearing her costume.

Unless it is the next season's premiere it doesn't matter like the stuff in Justice League. People will only see what is put on screen, and everything else is just what if.
Mileena MadnessOh, I absolutely agree. Again, as the video says, the show obviously had a lot of genuine love and talent put into it, but it was completely butchered on the editing table for reasons that I can't fathom.

Probably because, outside of the US, they are both on Netflix.
And I'm so glad about that.

So I'm watching the Tragedy of Titans video posted above and the guy refers to the security guards that Kory blew up as "just doing their jobs". You know the people that help the Titans prisoner, tortured them and were working for an organization that wanted bring about the apocalypse. He also talks about other patients in the hospital that are there despite no other patients being shown other than Rachel's mom who turns out to be working for Trigon's organization.
Like, he has some points about the show like the editing in some places but most of it is histronics and inaccuracies like the above mentioned.
So I've been hearing more about this show and is it true Beast Boy eats some motherfucker? Because apparently that's a thing.

The market is over saturated. Ignoring the shows (because Titans has apparently won over a lot of naysayers), everyone wants to isolate their media behind an individual paywall from network television (CBS) to individual sports leagues to sports channels. Which is exactly the argument that cable companies made for years against a la carte purchases, that if the media providers weren’t forced to play nice, they would all isolate themselves behind a wall and be thrice as expensive as comparable cable packages.
