Didn't fuel emission standards get implemented first in California and then spread, either through following the leader or simply because it was more practical to keep to just one standard instead of having different products for different areas?
Of course, that's a pretty different issue, but still.
Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted. The issue becomes how much damage will be done by the time enough/sufficiently important people wake up. And again, there's the issue of (functional) regional monopolies.

NVM. I was pissed off at you, Physical Stamina and the Republicans. Why does the government have a say in whether Net Neutrality is legal or not?

Because...they’re the ones that make the laws?
Or are you saying that it should be a public vote?
Oh God! Natural light!"The US Senate approved the CRA resolution in May, with votes from all members of the Democratic caucus and three Republican senators. While 176 House Democrats have signed the discharge petition, Coffman is the first House Republican to do so."
So, it wasnt his bill. Sounds more like a Dem thing.
I'm done trying to sound smart. "Clear" is the new smart.

Anything is legal if you have enough power, due to the foolishness of broad swathes of the American public the Republicans currently have that power.
