I'm kind of disappointed they went full Chaotic Evil with Lex.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.I wonder if he'll tie in to the Children of Liberty plotline. Lex Luthor, known for his hatred and envy of Superman, would be the kind of person that Lockwood would want on his side.

I would LOVE a Lex Luthor, "you are a puny weak and tiny man who preys on weaklings. I hunt the most dangerous game." "The Reason You Suck" Speech.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.During Season 2, there are references to Lex having been arrested after some scheme involving creating earthquakes and general mass destruction (likely as one of many nods this show has done to Superman: The Movie). Even Ben Lockwood would probably go, "I like his anti-alien policy, but I'm not crazy about his sink-half-of-California-for-a-real-estate-deal policy."
"It takes an idiot to do cool things, that's why it's cool" - Haruhara HarukoThis seems to be a Broad Strokes version of all Superman continuities.
They mentioned Superman killed General Zod (but that he returned in the 31st century).
So it could be Man of Steel's continuity, Superman 2, or Byrne's Man of Steel (I doubt that since that would involve a pocket universe).
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. They also brought up Chloe and the Kent farm was Smallville's.
It could work making bringing Luthor a Godzilla Threshold or showing how crazy they are by allying to him.

Wake me up at your own risk. The Luthor in this version also was Superman's best friend at some point.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.I'm starting to think Miss Teschmacher is a spy for Lex.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Wait, what.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!
The set they used for the Kent farm during the last crossover was literally the same set from Smallville.
I hated Smallville, and even I thought that seeing it (along with hearing that song) was awesome. Some references just work.
One Strip! One Strip! So it seems like we are already done with the Elite storyline. Pity, I liked 'em.
Anyways, the promo for next episode looks promising. Already digging Cryer's Luthor 10x more than Eisenberg's.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Newest episode is on now and...
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Jon Cryer playing Lex Luthor after knowing him for so long as Alan Harper is startling.
The episode doesn't quite seem to be what we expected:
The Red Skies Crossover or whatever happens in the Cold Open, and the rest of the episode is more about James' injury, and Lex's own cancer. That being said, we're not done yet, and I'm willing to bet Lex has something to do with James being shot. The timing is way too good.
One Strip! One Strip!Could someone pick up that phone, because I fucking called it!
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.<Hears a ringing>
Hello? Mullon?
Really? Called it perfectly you say?
Well then, pat yourself on the back, and stop calling me!
But yeah. We all should have seen that ending coming, Lena more than anyone.
I imagine I'm not the first to call Lex being responsible for Jimmy being shot, but I'm gonna take credit for it anyway.
Edit: That being said, anyone who claims they saw Otis being alive and Miss Tessmacher being spy is a filthy liar...unless it's me that is.

One Strip! One Strip!I loved Cryer's Luthor.
He's sweet and Affably Evil as well as loves his sister.
He's also a lunatic monster.
Possibly the best villain the show has ever done in one episode.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor is something that really shouldn't work...and yet somehow does. And he's kind of perfect as Lex — over the top when he needs to be over the top and subtle when he needs to be subtle. Who knew that Lenny Luthor had it in him?
Also, is this the first time they've mentioned James has a sister? Because he's never had one before. Although at least this time it's better than when Smallville killed off Jimmy and introduced his twin brother Jimmy.

He mentioned his sister before.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.I really hope Lex sticks around for more than just 2 episodes. Absolutely loved this version, more than any recent Live Action version.
Also I'm still not that convinced that Manchester is gone for good. I mean, it would be a waste, with him never getting his actual powers and stuff.

Edit: Also, I'm looking forward to Kara finding out Lena lied to her about the Harun-el.
Especially since she worked with her brother, who she knows is a nut case, but still is willing to deal with, while shutting out Supergirl even after the latter tried to make amends.

One Strip! One Strip! There was no way Manchester would legit die in a small focus story that was only tangentially related to the main plot anyway. It'd be like having someone shoot Lockwood during Elseworlds.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. My guess is, between their psychic link and J'onn disintegrating him with a psychic-power artifact, Manchester's mind has been absorbed by J'onn's brain, and his consciousness will eventually emerge to take control of J'onn's body.
"It takes an idiot to do cool things, that's why it's cool" - Haruhara Haruko
Well Alan Harper certainly became ambitious didn't he?
