Okay the RP thread[1]
is now open.
Feel free to post at your leisure. I've thrown out some plothooks for each region, but everyone can feel free to ignore them and stir up their own trouble if they wish. Graga is free to start where he wishes, blending in with the countryside as he tends to do.
Let me know if anyone has any issues with the world as it stands.
A volcano wouldn't really fit between the two areas given what we've established already. Plus having two desolate forsaken wastelands home to terrible villains right next to each other would make the place a bit homogenous.
Best to spread them out a bit so we're not terrorizing each other
But still, that's no reason why he can't just go visit the village anyway. Maybe he was flying by?

(Space Jawa suggested that we should bring this discussion from PM to here, so here we go...)
Okay, I'm thinking that Wen Yuen's lair would be at somewhere around the east side; further inland than Nor-Rokkus's lair and somewhere around the foot of Mount Blutstein. Her lair, and to a lesser extent, the nearby village(now gonna call it Vasilli Village), would be roughly equidistant from these two lairs.
Another suggestion of mine(not discussed in PM) is that when Nor-Rokkus fly over Wen Yuen's lair, he would noticed a cottage in the middle of a forested area(now call it Wei Xiao Forest from now on) where he would investigate it and meet Wen Yuen, sounds good?

Now that kind of positioning - right in the middle between the supposedly close village we're headed to and Nor-Rokkus' hand out - I'm thinking would be on the 'too close' side of things, and right now even if Nor-Rokkus did fly over her lair on the way to the ruined village he wouldn't stop by to investigate until the return trip after he's finished with whatever happens there.

Why does everyone want to be in the middle of us?
Nor-Rokkus and Sangorius are already pretty close to each other (relatively) and we already discussed how it was laid out, shoving someone in between means having to rework a bunch of stuff. Why not just pick a different border? Also you aren't required to be in the East just because you want a more Asian influence. The South, West, North, and Center of whatever continent we're on are all pretty wide open.
We have like eight dragons, but only three that have defined locations, and of those three Adelinde is far to the extreme north. That means that unless we have at least one person to the south, one person to the north, one person to the west, and one person in the center, we're going to have big chunks of nothing and everyone else huddled together.
And from having to put together a map in a different RP this summer where everyone wanted to be coastal, northern, and bordering the same two nations, things wound up looking pretty ugly. For example, here is a quick little map
◊ I drew up of a roughly-circular continent with a bump to give us a "far north", and 12 parcels to accommodate every dragon, and a few NPCs. By no means official, you can at least use it to visualize how things fit together, and you could imagine how trying to maintain borders that were created without a visual reference would wind up becoming a nightmare to deal with.

Well I want Wen Yuen's lair to be near these two dragons so that it'll be much easier to encounter one another but oh well, thanks for the map and suggestion, Nman, the visualisation actually helps a lot. Unclaimed 7 seems like a nice place for Wen Yuen's lair.
http://www.last.fm/user/sgtpendulum Yo, check out what I'm listening, it'll be heat, brah :^)Much appreciation N Man. That's a big help, and should smooth things along.
Unless anyone objects, I have Kurach Mor somewhere along the Northern edge of Unclaimed 4, and Thirturas' City in Unclaimed 9. If you guys want a different plot, it's best to let me know now while adjustments are still easy to make. Our Volcano-Dragon may want Unclaimed 1, Unclaimed 2 or Unclaimed 8, though you're free to be anywhere you want.
I'll give everyone most of today to post in RP, and then update tonight. Or sooner if it's called for, for individual situations.
EDIT: Also, if anyone wants more details about anything in the setting from recent history to the Gods, let me know and I can provide some details either here or in my next post.

Oh, no problem at all. I never intended Graga to be particularly fast, or at least so far as dragons are considered. Relatively, he's more like an olympic wrestler, whereas a normal (or at least younger) dragon would be an olympic sprinter.

To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.Wow, I love your opening, N Man, what with the reveal that he was actually playing around with some statues and all.

If we can sum up, more or less, what region each dragon is in that would help me out, quite a bit.
Nothing too thorough is needed. "North-East. Uncivilized jungles" "West. Rural mountainous regions" would be more than enough.
