Yes, four overall, but I kind of thought that they would start with releasing one...but now thinking about it, I guess that was kind of naïve. It would be easier to voice all episodes at once, wouldn't it?
Aren't they outsourcing some of the stuff? I mean in the vid above they just got back animation they outsourced, right?
Checked the production blog again. They made 5 updates this year, last one on 31st of March. They are animating and inking new scenes all the time. No, I have NO IDEA why they are working this slow. Either bit off too much to chew for a small team, or some annoying problems only higher tier backers are told about.
Either way, it's being made.

Right. You don't want to be the next Mighty No. 9.
Actually, it gets me thinking. How long does it take a studio the size of Disney's to do a 2D animated movie? I know they haven't done a 2D movie since 2011, but how long did it take them to develop that?
Because maybe we can use that to guesstimate how long it'd take this smaller team to finish this project.

The longest production time for Disney is Sleeping Beauty with, if I remember correctly, nine years. But that movie was still hand-inked and very, very difficult to make due to the detailed background (it is one of its kind for this reason). Usually it was between three and four years.
I guess Don Bluth would be a better parallel, though. But even that wouldn't work, because if I understand them correctly, they aren't making a movie but episodes.
Most people knew that, I guess. But they can't drag it out for a decade or so either.
