At the rate it's going right now, hitting all of the stretch marks is still a legit possibility.
Looking for some stories?Man I wish I weren't broke. x.x This guy could be the new Don Bluth if he succeeds.

Actually, his luck is not so bad if you look at his life from a different perspective. He inspired hundreds of people to draw (including me) and animate (excluding me). He made Titan AE (which I believe to be amazing) and had success as a teacher and a theatre director. He lived to a ripe old age, is still in good health, and is beloved by many. He successfully directed 5 great movies, and 2 good ones (Anastasia, Bartok).
Is that what you call bad luck?

Good stuff happening to him doesn't really erase what bad stuff did happen to him. Many of his stuff failed to find success, as much as we animation fans know about him to most people he is unknown (or worse, a lot of his work is credited to Disney), a lot of his stuff was later taken out of his creative control and crappy sequels were forced upon them, and many projects he's working on now are in Development Hell because studios are hesitant to fund him.
Yeah, it's great that we like his stuff and continue to appreciate him, and that he's alive and well, but you can't ignore that the animation industry has not been kind to him.

Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face.I agree, especially since it doubled the goal point it was making. If it goes any higher and they pitched this movie to investors, there's a possibility that they might take this movie in.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Let's be honest here, Bluth did most of his best work when he was working with Spielberg for a reason. He is a really good animator, but for a movie, you also need good directing. It is similar with Burton...there is a reason why the one animated movie he didn't direct but was mostly responsible for the creative input (Nightmare before Christmas) is easily his best so far. Not to put any of those guys down, but no outstanding animated movie was the result of only one man, you always need the right combination of talents.
I definitely agree with this. Sure, Don Bluth was a fantastic animator, but I think his movies like The Secret of NIMH and The Land Before Time did so well because they had great scripts and great direction and as long as this movie Hullabaloo has fantastic writing and great direction, I'm sure it will be successful in the long run.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Ah well, I took the plunge on it.
And only half because Hullabaloo is a funny word.

Awesome! I'm sooooo looking forward to this. Steampunk is my jam. I have such an unabashed love for Atlantis The Lost Empire, no matter what anyone says.
