Alright, so we have our head scientist now
, yipee. I'm going to end up running like 100 npcs by the end of this, I bet. I need to run the kids that the Children will know at school, the other bridge bunnies, characters from SELEE... This will definitely be an exercise for me. Anyways, I'm making sheets for these two because they both have the potential to be just as impactful as the main characters and develop alongside them. Everyone else I run will be far less dynamic and thus I will not write sheets for them. Especially because I don't want to.
Trivia: Eikichi's name comes from Eikichi Onizuka and Akemi Homura.

Seems to me it wouldn't matter too much if they were primarily accessories whose job it was to fill out the command room staff, spew technobabble, and act as Red Shirts as the situation called. True enough though that making convincing non-pilot classmates for the kids to interact with might be more taxing.
As for this scientist character, again I was thinking about Gabe as being kind of a go-between with her and Shona. Might make for a good source of drama if he's caught up in some kind of conflict with Shona attempting to uncover mysteries that Miyahara is hiding.
Also, does Shona have some sort of military rank, like Captain or Major?
I meant along the lines that officially, Gabe is a fellow officer working directly under Shona and probably shares more of her ideals than he's willing to admit or even recognize, but in terms of skills, background, and overall personality, he's more like Suzume. He doesn't have to be a literal go-between as part of his job, but I kind of see him as the type who will naturally bounce back and forth between them regardless.
Interesting, when I designed Gabe I sort of had him in mind as The Spock, but between those two he'd probably be more like The Kirk.

I'm not sure what I should have Gabe do at this point. As a low level lieutenant, I'm not sure he'd strictly need to come along on a security walk unless he was specifically ordered to. In-character he would probably want to go off and get caught up on his paperwork or something, but that would hardly make for thrilling RPing.
