I've been hearing about this Zoe Quinn mess all morning and I wanted to hear you guy's opinions. I would post some links but since I'm a new user, the site won't let me. So to summarize; the ex-boyfriend of Zoe Quinn, the creator of Depression Quest posted a blog post a few days ago revealing that she slept with several people in the industry that might have helped her game gain publicity and get published, and now /v/ and other sites are in an uproar about it. So I wanted to hear what TV Tropes has to say about this.

[down]Yeah, my bad.....

I haven't seen the blog nor do I even know what her game is about (let alone about herself), so I can't say much.

But from what little I do know about the quality and truthfulness of blogs is that you have to take them with a grain of salt and realize that the author may very well have a malicious intent behind it. It's not unheard of to hear of folks using sites like Facebook, Youtube, Reddit or Tumblr to slander another person for whatever reason, and this might be another case. So if the result of said blog is that a bunch "Internet Warriors" are now bombing the crap out of her personal pages and down-rating her game then shame on those idiots for jumping to conclusions and not trying to get both sides of the story.

Would you believe I never fully watched the original Indiana Jones trilogy? I gotta correct that someday.
