Well, you can either look closely at the screen for "obviously suspicious" spots, like one single rock surrounded by trees or something. Or you can first get yourself a compass and use that before actually searching.
So how well or badly is this selling?
I've had plenty fun with it, some people in net seem to be snobby in kinda the "Nintendo are being sellout!" way
That's expected. Most gamers don't like the Dynasty Warriors series, often because they find it repetitive and don't believe that the different incarnations of it are very different from one another.
However, I think the "sellout" comments are from people who either don't like Zelda in particular being crossed over with other series or are upset that the crossover didn't happen with some other series that they like. It's not as if this is a new thing for Nintendo to do; I'm pretty sure it's been happening since the Gamecube era, if not earlier (Wario Blast anyone?).
I don't have an answer to sales. I don't think it's been long enough to gauge (aren't they usually done after a week)?

Sales wise it was alright, but not great in Japan. It'll probably reach 150,000 lifetime. It charted well in Europe, but I don't think we have numbers for that. And in America we won't know for awhile.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. You sure? Because a quick google search shows that Warriors has had a generally okay presence outside of Japan, and has been very popular inside of it.
If anyone dislikes Warriors, it is not the Gamer Community as a whole, it is the Reviewers in particular.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!That's the perception I've gotten from people outside my gaming circle and in real life, not just reviewers, but I don't know if the general view has changed dramatically in recent years. I know Dynasty Warriors Gundam and the other recent titles kicked up the series' popularity again, but I also know that Hyrule Warriors got flak initially just for being a Dynasty Warriors spin-off, so I don't think the negative sentiment has died down that much.

Guess we are gonna have to agree to disagree then, the impression I get from people in Real Life and in Forums and such is that Warriors is well-liked enough, except for DW 6's Renbu System, which is hated with the passion of a thousand suns.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!I forgot what it was like to game so hard.
Well I got all the warriors so far, but I haven't used them all. It's hard because they all have badges to wear and weapons to put on and it takes a lot of thought...
And I've yet to even try multiplayer...
It's nice that she's so cheerful.
Heart of Stonewait who are those two next to the link/epona render near the end
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaLooks like it might be Cia pre-split. Her costume is an unmasked, more reasonable version of Cia's and she's using both Cia's staff and Lana's tome.
That's the rule when you become a villain. You have to cut the amount of skin covered by your clothing in half.
Heart of Stoneif you look at the costumes closely the boob sizes are different so one is Lana and one is Cia.
Because you couldn't just look at their weapon? Or eye color?
When Cia got corrupted, half her dress stayed with her dark self and the other half went with Lana
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Hmm, an outfit that mixes theirs with mingled white and black would be pretty neat.
So the Master Pack released super early in Japan
It's a 8 bit weapon wonderland apparantly
New Adventure Map that's JUST as big as the first one. Some of the new scenarios include one-death....
Villian Story Mode (Cia and Co)
Dark Link costume actually does give us Dark Epona as expected

Looking at the hair, they are Lana & Cia separately. New costumes for each, presumably of the pre-split version.
EDIT: Bah. Left this tab up too long. I do like though that I noticed by the hair while post 115 noticed by the breast size.

@Deltora: We didn't really disagree on anything, but alright.
Yeah, that's what it seems to look like◊.
First things I noticed about the two were the poses, weapons, hair, and clothing differences (there are a few minor differences between them).
As for the video, I used to find Cia's use of Dark Link to be somewhat disturbing, now I think it's pretty awesome after seeing it in motion.

Valga gamplay, set to Dynasty Warriors (and some Warriors Orchi) music. No internet cookie for guessing what music is used.

Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Damn. I knew Volga would be kickass in combat, but wow. He actually seems like he's a Dynasty Warriors character that happens to be cameo-ing in this game.
I'm not all that privy to the mainline Dynasty Warriors music, so I don't know what track is playing in that video. I'm assuming it's related to Lu-Bu though.
I really really wish that Gold Skulltulas wouldn't disappear after you work so hard to make them show up. Whose annoying idea was that.

So in adventure mode, I have to use the item cards to search different sections of the map. Problem is, unlike the first time I do it, the place I have to search isn't highlighted for me, so I have to guess. Anyone have any hints or?
