While they'll probably just make Skull Kid playable, I actually think it would be cooler if they went with Majora's Wrath as the MM villain.

I'm interested in seeing who they pick. After seeing Agitha become playable, anything's possible in my eyes.

That said, I'll maintain that Tingle will one of the Majora's Mask characters, since he's appeared in multiple games in the series and had his own spin-off series as well. Besides, the game lacks a completely goofy character, and there's usually always at least one in these games.

Got the game yesterday (after Amazon messed up the preorder) and I have been enjoying it so far. Everyone I have tried plays really well imo, even Fi (who I really disliked in SS. HW might have been a Rescue from the Scrappy Heap for her imo). Only things I dislike so far is the lack of representation for Wind Waker and the 2D games (Onox, Aghanim, Tetra, Linebeck and Yuga could have made great playable characters), what looks to be a fairly short campaign (already at the epilogue) and what looks to be a lack of a customisable free play mode (would really like to be able to pick a map, your forces, the opponent's forces and both side's leaders/supporting characters).

Adventure mode has been really fun so far though.

[up][up]Agitha not goofy enough for you?

I'm not really a big fan of Tingle myself. Don't hate him, but I really don't need to see much more of him.

Also, Groose or riot.

Wow, I feel like I got lucky being in the Netherlands, here the DLC is 15 Euros, which translates to about a little bit less than $20.

Still a win, as mostly $20 is 20 Euros here with most stuff.

[up][up]Agi's the requisite "cute" character to me (along with Lana), so no, she's not silly enough. It probably helps that I think fighting by summoning giant bugs is pretty cool.

Question, has anyone figured out how to get the Coccos on your side in some stages?

Does the game have multiple save files? I'm torn between playing ASAP when it arrives and waiting until my friends can come over.

I'm liking it so far. It's fun cutting up hordes of enemies, and the cutscenes are actually pretty good.

Quick question... I know they mentioned something about split screen co-op in the game earlier today. Is it actually fleshed out, like a co-op campaign, or just simply pop in and play?

[up][up][up]I don't think there are multiple files, but you can replay stages any time.

[up][up]Pop in and play. You'll need to beat stage one before you have access another character for co-op (in this case Impa). Note that Co-op drops the games framerate from 60 fps to 30 (so says The Completionist who did a video on Hyrule Warriors).

Is there a particular trick to beating the Imprisoned, or is it just about getting the timing right? Because he's the boss that's caused me the most trouble.

[up]Mostly timing. But if you want to make it easy, you only really need to deal 1/3 of damage on your own since the other 2/3 can be taken out him with the 2 cannons. But that's only in story mode.

The yellow meter's attack (I forget what it's called) will usually knock out all of the Imprisoned's toes at once, so there's that too.

Fi's surprisingly good for that because she can skate past while the other foot's coming down, doing some damage and escaping the next step.

Fi's thing is moving and attacking at the same time. She's basically designed to fight the Imprisoned.

Gah. So this game is good in the good ways, like characters, combat, music, and crafting...

But it is horrible in bad ways. Like I beat a final boss right before my allied base fell and I lost after all of that work...

Also, computer A.I. of the mooks is disappointing. They can hardly fend for themselves and when there's nothing to do they just stand in place.
