I did almost that exact same thing. I bought it on release, but only played up through where you get to start recruiting the other Champions (which is like, 2 or 3 missions in)
I have to get in the right groove to play a lot of a Warriors game. The same thing happened to me with One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4.

Alright. Level 1 down.
I think it was best to start again. Give myself time to regain an understanding of how the game plays.
I'm still pretty bad at some things, but I'm doing slightly better with the weak point smashes.
One Strip! One Strip!I'd recommend having both DL Cs active for Age of Calamity when you first begin a new game. I think these DL Cs are far better implemented into the main core progression of the game than BOTW's was where it feels more 'tacked on' at the end than anything else. If you attempt to do Age of Calamity DL Cs after you beat the core game, it feels more like a endgame grindfest, but if you do it alongside the base game, it compliments it nicely.

I see. I'm not sure if I got enough money for it, but why not. I'll give it a shot.
One Strip! One Strip!Double post: I was right. I don't have the money for the DLC right now.
It'll have to wait for the time being. If necessary, I'll start fresh again, though that would suck.
In the meantime, I finished the second level just like before. Now I'm getting ready to do more parts of the game.
I hope I'm able to stick to it this time.
One Strip! One Strip!Got a question on fusing weapons:
Should I only fuse weapons of the same type (like, only fuse Soldier Blades to other Soldier Blades), fuse certain classes of weapons (like fusing a Travellers Blade to a Soldier Blade) or is it alright to say, fuse a stick to a sword if there are good bonuses in both?
One Strip! One Strip! As far as I've seen, you can fuse any weapon to any other (just be careful of which one is consumed).
The important part is the seals. When the receiving weapon crosses a level threshold (5, 10, 20) it gains a new seal slot, and receives the first seal of the first weapon in the current fusion batch.
Use this wisely (in conjonction with the "remove seal" feature) to put the best seals on your best weapons.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."
As I understand it, The primary seal is the weapon you select first, with the other seals being added on as secondary seals right?
Always found myself swimming in so many weapons it never felt necessary to pick and choose based on bonus EXP.
You are not alone.![]()
Oh. So is using the same category of weapon (so a one handed sword) more important than them literally being the same weapon then?
Like, I can fuse a Travellers Sword and a Soldier's Blade together, and it's not an issue in terms of bonuses?
One Strip! One Strip!Alright. Finally moved ont to the next scenario.
Decided to go in the order I used when I did BOTW, so I made my way to Zora's Domain and did Mipha's scenario.
Man, I fought a Lynel, and then controlled a fricking Divine Beast.
Feels good.
One Strip! One Strip! Not sure what you mean by "primary seal". It's just... Fusing weapons will not modify existing seals of the "Destination" weapon. But if fusing causes a level threshold (5, 10, 20) to be crossed, the first seal of the first "source" weapon will be added to the "destination" weapon.
And I don't know/remember what happens if several thresholds are crossed during the same fusion.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Right. I've continued to play the game. Just beat Daruk's level.
At some point, I'm going to have to figure out how to take care of those DLC quests.
I may need to take a break from the game until I can get them. We'll see.
One Strip! One Strip! And now I did Revali.
You asshole. You didn't even let me pilot your divine beast.
That's unforgivable. I hope you died first in the original timeline.
One Strip! One Strip!Good. He better live up to it.
Oh shit. He also didn't become playable during his recruitment.
Curse you, you oversized turkey!
One Strip! One Strip! And now that I've played as Revali....
Damn. At least you're a useful asshole.
One Strip! One Strip!Revali is astonishingly powerful with midair attack seals. I was fortunate enough to quickly get his max base power bow and lots of midair attack. The result is he’s so strong even on the highest difficulty I can take on multiple mini-bosses at once and don’t even have to wait for their weakpoint expose when I can just drain their health bar so fast.

Right. I got this game back in Christmas of 2021, then kinda stopped playing it only days afterwards to focus on other games.
So I've been gone a while, but I plan on picking it back up today, as part of my actually finish a lot of my old games initiative.
Since I was only two levels in, I think I'll start completely fresh, so I can get back the feel of the game bit by bit.
That does mean fighting the damned Guardian Robots in the second part again.
Wish me luck.
