I like how Daphne is now the Mabel and makes the show have something to look forward to each week.

Okay, he maybe he doesn't technically inherit a fortune...

I think calling this the Teen Titans Go! to Mystery Incorporated is absurd, for similar yet different reasons: the predecessors of both shows were tonally different from that which came before or after, and that's all that some fans are using as a frame of comparison. ('03 Titans being less serious than the original Titans comics, Mystery Incorporated being the most serious Scooby yet)

Definitely the most entertaining Daphne so far.

My favorite characters are Fred and Velma. They both competent in their own rights, while still quirky (and have their worse days when they're more quirky then usual) and world seems to hate them just a bit.

Actually...has there ever been a more competent Fred?

OG Fred was pretty competent. He just didn't have a personality.

OG? Original Generation?

I'm not exactly Scooby buff, but I recall that idiot Fred wasn't really interesting, maybe except in Pup called Scooby Doo.

I don't recall OG Fred ever solving the mystery before Velma did.

The series is sort of like a mediocre and uncreative version of the franchise. Most of the villains, monsters, or ghosts in the series have already been used before, so nothing about the monsters surprises me.

All new monsters were used up ages ago. This is more like intended homage/parody of original.

And honestly, who watches Scooby Doo for monster? Were they ever interesting?

Also, Are you honestly trying to start another argument???!! You know this will end badly.

This show is 100% Affectionate Parody of the original Scooby Doo Where Are You.

Monsters may not be new, but the situations they're used in seems pretty fresh. Like, a Yeti in a suburban cheese-themed restaurant? Pterodactyl during Christmas? Etc.

Actually, in the original series the mystery solving was shared between the gang - it was often swapped between Fred and Velma, but often all of them figured it out together. Once or twice even Shaggy did the summation.

Velma role as The Smart Guy got Flanderized over time. The idea that she's always the one that solves the mystery is Newer Than They Think.

Okay, I got it! Daphne is the Heart! The reason she is this cookie character is because she needs to be this innocent person, naive enough to think that friendship solves everything. She's the glue.

Fred's the leader, Velma's the brain, Scooby and Shaggy are both the comic relief and the bait, and Daphne is the heart. It all makes sense. I mean, really, I love Daphne, but there was always something missing with her, a reason why she would be in the gang.

I think I'm starting to like this show's lampshades even better than Mystery Inc or Pup Named Scooby Doo's.
