That art style is just hideously ugly and unacceptable. It looks like the offspring of of Family Guy's poor animation and Adventure Time's character design. All ready I can tell the animation is going to be subpar and shows like these make me wish that animated series got higher budgets and didn't have to resort to poor quality such as this to save money. It's such a shame the last incarnation of Scooby in MI had some really good animation and heck even some of the more recent direct to video movies have animation around that same quality. So even by Scooby Doo standards these character designs are horrid. Well hopefully in spite of this and possibly the animation the show is watchable or even good but personally unless this takes some liberties and tries to some new things or just put actual effort into this show I most likely won't be tuning in to see this.
"If you look for the light, you can often find it. But if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see."'First'? Scooby gets retooled all the freaking time.
I like all the new designs but Velma, who really should have more meat in those bones.
However, I can't shake the ominous feeling this is all but forced-made by executive commitee more than actually born from creative drive. Which is never a good thing. That promo pitch somehow gives me the chills.

I won't give the middle finger to this show yet until we get a good trailer for what's to be expected. I still found Shaggy and Scooby-doo get a clue to be the funniest remake i've seen. Don't know what others had against it.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceyeah, i'm not feelin' the redesign's that much either. mostly it's Shaggy and Scooby's eyes; they look all bugged out.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.![]()
Y Ou mean, like Scooby-Doo always was?
This series would be different, though. At least with the old show, you could say it was charming in a corny way. This new show seems like it will add rather one-dimensional gags with some crude humor as well. And the previous Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated was pretty good too, so I wouldn't say all of the iterations of scooby doo are bad.

Didn't see a thread about this new show, so here it is.
Here's a first image
◊ with all of the gang in a new art style, as well as some of the direction of the new show. One of the producers is linked with Family Guy and Brickleberry.
Make of that what you will.
