Well, that and albums are a declining business thanks to the advent of digital music sites.
I think that's the reason why a B-list artist like Sia could hold the top spot instead of, say, Iggy Azalea.
That's one thing we can thank digital music for. Casettes and album CDs initially killed off the singles business, but the internet brought it back.
I checked the single Chandelier released from that album. It sounds like a Rihanna song. If Paw Dugan and Todd In The Shadows are right about her output, that's probably not a good sign.

Right now, Sia holds the #1 spot with 1000 Forms of Fear, and after being featured in a few hit singles like from David Guetta and Flo Rida.
And the Frozen soundtrack holds #2. Screw that film's Four Chords song. The soundtrack has sold only on that song.
