All I'm left thinking is that we're apparently pretty close to the end, and yet it still feels like so much is left unsettled.
Like, the Supreme Deity still hasn't shown up, there's this stuff with Meliodas absorbing the Commandments and also now his "true magic" or whatever, and Arthur still needs to come back to life or whatever.
Yeah...there seems to be a distinct lack of a final boss, too. I mean...never gonna take the Demon King seriously ever again, that's for sure, but...this feels so sterile...who cares about Cusack and Chandler? And Zeldris is just "meh."
I feel the final boss might be Mel.
Let me make a guess, after the 2 dimwits & dutiful son are dealt with, Mel will finish cocooning thus triggering a raid boss fight as everyone including Mael vainly tries to stop his new final ultimate form.
That's when Mel's emotions come in & beats body-Mel by using his true power or whatever & fuses back with him with Liz using the power of love to purify the Commandments from him.
The newly fused Mel will be so powerful that the Supreme Mommy & Demon Daddy will have no choice but to either pledge subservience or die.
Then the series ends with Mel as the not demon king, the war is finished, & peace reigns throughout the land for millennia.
True final boss is Elizabeth, who was actually an evil seductress all along.
Zeldoris is using another one of the Demon Kings Powers. I think this ability may have the same weakness as the Ruler.
That's a very Boring, but Practical power.
fitting for a very boring character
Is this the most focus Zel has gotten since he was first introduced?
I find his power kinda cool. Maybe too cool for him.
Anyway, Escannor and Rudociel banter was clearly the best part of the chapter.
Rudociel x Escanor is already better than his creepy obsession with Merlin.
Though despite what he said as Merlin points out, it's not his power.
Wait then why was he saying that "Now I reveal my true original power" & shit.
Damn Zel make up your mind.
I imagine the gravity is his power but the whole resilience to regular and magical damage is the DK's.
Also I thought he gave up that power to Mel when he first started the whole collect the Commandments thing.
Meliodas said he came to steal it from Zeldris, but realized it wouldn't be enough to break the curse(s).
How is the vampire alive!
I'll laugh if Meliodas was just bullshitting and he really did super murder her.
Less murder and more mercy kill. But I actually do think chances are decent that he was lying about not killing her.

Man was that crater fucking overkill.
Especially when vampires can be killed by mundane means like everyone else.
So it's a people only vacuum plus crazy sword play. Still rather boring. Not sure where the increasing damage comes from tho.
Huh, thought it was out already
So wait. Does asshole Archangel have some Hidden Depths here? That'd be interesting.
His darkness is just going around him so fast it blasts anyone that gets close to him away. His ability is honestly not that impressive, the issue is that the Demon King ability makes him immune to magic attacks, so he has a pretty much perfect defense.
sounds like you just have to use the Naruto vs Neji finisher then.
Boring ability is still boring.
