This is the thread to use if you feel that the page image itself is good but the caption needs help.
If you think that both the image and the caption are poor, please make a thread in Image Pickin' for the page, and we'll work on the image and caption both at the same time.
As with other TRS and IP threads, please state your reasons and make your case in your first post. Don't make the other posters spend time trying to pry it out of you.

Well, if it'd been an iconic line or Character Catchphrase I can see the entertainment value, but this specific case is not one. It's a random line from the movie.

For Solar-Powered Magnifying Glass the image is of Bart Simpson burning a plant with a magnifying glass.
For the caption, I was thinking the either
1.1 "Burn, Baby, Burn."
1.2 "By the Power of the Sun, Burn!"
How about:
Glitch Episode's original caption:
Was selected in it's IP thread: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=16894174530.66899100
It was unilaterally tweaked here
to:
Revert?
Without any knowledge of the webcomic of Out of Focus' image, the current caption is hard to understand the arc's role for the character in the current.
Current:
Pull the caption, it relies too much on knowledge of the work.
Edit: also, the page might need a new image for quality reasons, but that's a topic for another thread.

Fjón þvæ ég af mér fjanda minna rán og reiði ríkra manna.I would like to suggest this for They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot as I suggested it in the IP thread but there was no response to it whatsoever before it closed:
For Romantic Wingman, the image is from How I met Your Mother, showing Ted kissing a girl and Barney looking smug at his help securing the outcome.
I would suggest the simple caption, "Mission Accomplished."

for They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot
I find the caption slightly generic and could literally apply to any kind of trope so
.
A caption was unilaterally added
While I'm not really against the quote and listing the characters could be helpful, there are way too many characters in the poster for all of them to be labelled making the caption slightly bloated.
In the meantime, I also made a slight adjustment
due to pointing out the wrong character (in fact the character labelling itself is still pretty inaccurate but I would like some other thoughts on the whole caption itself before I can edit it furthermore).
Cut or keep (or just cut the character note)?

Currently semi-active.Am I the only one who finds the caption for TearJerker.Batman Arkham City to be a little long and wordy:
I feel like you cut it down to this and it would work much better:

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadCurrent image (and caption) provider of Going Critical here. I'd like to report that the current caption,
, isn't entirely accurate. The actual phrase is , so can we change it to that? Also, I have three other caption ideas which are from the same game. The ideas are
, and WHO PUT A DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE ON THE ROAD!?Current caption in What Is This Feeling? is an in-joke of Penny Arcade. However, the in-joke itself is hard to understand without knowledges of the comic.

Bumping this
I'll probably quote it right here anyways:
Some of them like Rarity's, Applejack's, Dash's, Pinkie's, Sweetie Belle's, and Cadance's ones are kinda okay (maybe some fixing with the potholes), but the rest are not that great with some falling under YMMV captioning. For consistency's sake, I'm willing to pull all of these but what do you think?
There are some other series I can think of that have these but I'll go pop them up later on.

Currently semi-active.Bumping this
since it's been a few days with just a single response.
the Sherlock Homage thread closed before i finished discussing this, so i'll pick it back up here. someone first suggested:
This is kind of a minor thing, but I think the caption on Pushy Gun-Toting Villain should pothole to Faux Affably Evil instead of Smug Snake, as I feel FAE fits the quote in the caption much better. Is it okay to change that?
Please make this canon, DC. I love the idea of the Joker and Harley's hyenas acting like them.

Then again, stuff like this are probably a product of how things rolled back then when rules were looser and heavily falls under Fan Myopia.
