Can I reuse (was: change) the email address associated with an account?

Can I change the email address associated with an account? If so, how?

Have you tried going to the Tools menu on the sidebar, "Your Profile", and then the "Add/Change Email" button on the page?

I want to change my handle. To that, I'll need another email address. I went through the trouble of creating a separate email address and I went to the add/change option and had my new email linked becuase I thought that "add/change" meant I could change and remove old emails, not just add and now BOTH emails are linked to my existing handle.

Anyone?

I try changing my Email Address, but when i did it still show my old account. When i try to fixed it it told me the email I try to change it to is already in use.

I just logged back in after a maybe half-year hiatus from TV Tropes. First thing I noticed is that it now has an associate email option. So I did.

Then I looked at my handle, and figured that I wanted to change my handle name, which I later found out is not possible. So I tried to create a new account for which it needs my email address to work, so I logged back in and tried to change my associated email address so I can use the current one for my new account.

Currently, my situation is that both my email addresses are associated with this account, and I can use neither of them to create a new account. This sucks.

Yeah, one email address can only be used for one account. You'll have to ask an admin for assistance there.
