Clash is an odd weapon because it isn't even good, it's just... annoying. If we had a multiplayer trope for Goddamned Bats it'd count, and the POPPOPPOPPOPPOPPOP gets real grating real fast.
Fun fact: the S-BLAST's short-range firing mode actually has the same TTK as Clash Blaster does. Takes a bit more finesse since you can't run with it, obviously, but it's amusing when Clash is supposed to be the fast and up-close Blaster.
Clash Blaster is a total scrub stomper yeah. The wide explosion makes it good for chasing around slippery foes up-close, but the short range really hurts it. It doesn't help that the S-BLAST has all the advantages of the Clash Blaster but it can switch to a better blaster on command

I wouldn't worry as much about Side Order if they weren't locking 99.99% of Off the Hook's screentime behind it. Turns out, writing out extremely popular characters so you can put them in paid DLC that you want so badly to be "new and different" that even 10 months after the base game's release you have no ETA for it beyond "before January 1, 2025" can really fuck up their fans

pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSinkbrush and charger on the stage that starts lagging the literal instant a flyfish or drizzler starts attacking = uh-oh!

pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSFinally got the grey locker! I now officially have every single thing available from Hotlantis.
I overall had a similar experience to doomrider, going a ridiculous amount of time before finally getting a win when the algorithm decided to put me on the same team as the two deadliest players I had been going up against. And in that match I inked by far the most turn and had the best splat ratio.
Yesterday seemed to have a weirdly high number of chargers in Turf War. I even had one match where I was the only person on my team not using one.
Ukrainian Red CrossWell, I had a match yesterday where literally everyone on my team had point-blank weapons, while the other team actually had reasonable ranges. So that was fun.
Oh boy. This shift. It's more lopsided than a botched plastic surgery. Two rollers, one the weakest in the game, the other the slowest — it's the Dynamo so one team member is essentially dead weight. Your other choices are the Dapples, which are only good at point-blank, and a Heavy Splatling, which requires charging and leaves you a sitting duck. It is a loadout balanced around being good at close-range combat and quite literally nothing else. (The king is Horrorboros of course.) Steelheads and Stingers will survive to the end of the wave more often than not
The next rotation has both stringers in the rotation and no autofire weapons at all
And we still don't have any Side Order news

pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSThe dynamo roller is one of the best weapons in Salmon Run. It just absolutely deletes everything that's not a boss, and some things that are bosses. But it's got a huge wind-up and takes a lot of ink, so you have to be aware of your situation when using it or you'll get caught out and killed.
This shift has two slow but high-power weapons and two quick but weak weapons. That works well if teammates stick together and cover each other, but really badly if they don't.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien. In a mode like Salmon Run, DPS is a big factor in whether or not you’ll survive. Being able to crush Cohocks means nothing when you’re wielding an ink-guzzling melee weapon with extreme lag frames that’s too slow to get away safely if things get nasty

Forever liveblogging the AvengersDynamo absolutely has massive drawbacks, and I don't blame anyone for not liking it, but it's also absolutely not "essentially dead weight", which is what the post I was responding to said about it.
It's a high skill floor weapon — and not just your own skill, but your teammates, since it requires a lot of support. But played well, it's incredibly powerful. That's what I meant when I said it's one of Salmon Run's best weapons — I meant that a good dynamo on a good team is one of the most effective things in the game mode, not that anyone can pick up a dynamo and kick ass with it in any circumstance.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Seriously though, seeing three Flyfishes' worth of missiles in the air right before they start bombarding the players is a sight to behold.

"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."Day 1 on the road to Vanilla Ruler saw quite a bit of action. 11-8 was the final tally for wins and losses, so I'd say it was a sweet success overall.

It's like I'm in some kind of... TV Tropes...
I haven't started playing this splatfest yet, but what I'm reading here doesn't make me hopeful!
Edit: Roughly even win-loss ratio so far. Strawberry is indeed rare, but I've actually seen them so they're not as bad as Bigfoot. Most of my fights have been against Mint though, who have been Kitchen Ace (And Taking Names)

Funny thing is, the S Blast isn't TOO bad of an issue for me since I can usually close the distance pretty quick since I main weapons designed for up close and personal alongside Ninja Squid. The clash is just fucking TERRIBLE to deal with in general for me due to the splash damage as well as just being a pain to del with in Tower Control.
Edit: Yeah SR has been a really mixed bag for me. Weapons are the best or the worst so it's okay on that front, but MAN, if the Splatling guy isn't on the job you're completely and totally screwed. I wouldn't worry too much on Side Order. They'll drop stuff for it when they're good and ready.
