Thanks. It should be now.

Talk about playing the long game. BRB, sweeping up the bits of my blown mind. @.@
https://angelskingsandweirdos.com ''Where imagination takes wing... and then gets sucked into a jet turbine."I completed my Archive Binge this evening. Overall, I really enjoyed it...looking forward to seeing where the current plotline goes. I was very impressed by the huge reveal; that's an amazing amount of deep planning.
There are multiple big reveals with amazingly deep levels of planning, so you'll have to be more specific.
I think I know which one you mean, but it was a bit ago, so you could be talking about something else.
Ira being the head of Anasigma.
Looking through the work page and subpages, they need a lot of work...might see about tackling that when I have time.
I made the character page presentable a few years ago, but it's definitely been a while.
I did some work on it today and will be checking the Related page to see if any tropes can be added.
Bumping this to note that, per today's strip, Shaenon's discontinued Skin Horse for the foreseeable future due to getting sick of haters shitting on her art.
I'm really surprised, because I never saw anything wrong with the comic's art in general!note
Then again, I grew up with this style of comic art (closer to Franco-Belgian Comics than DC/Marvel art).

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Yeah, her art's not, like, clean and polished but there was nothing inherently bad or wrong about her style. I really hope that she and Jeff either pick the comic back up or at least finish it offline and offer this last arc in a print/electronic book like the other arcs, since the comic was supposed to wrap up at some point this year.
She must have a buffer, then, because the Gocomics.com page for Skin Horse is still updating. I presume when the buffer is exhausted, the strip will go on hiatus there as well. I'll miss it, I've been following it for something like ten years at this point (I started reading during the storyline when Sweetheart, Tip, and Unity re-united with Sweetheart's fellow creations and Tip was turned into a weredog, however long ago that was) and was looking forward to seeing how it ended.
(EDITED TO ADD: There has, justifiably, been a massive outpouring of support for Shaenon, who has said she's talking with Jeff about what to do next. Hopefully this means the story will conclude one way or another. The suddenness with which she made the decision does make me concerned for her more general mental well-being, a concern that's apparently shared by a number of SH readers, but I don't want to play armchair psychiatrist.
EDITED AGAIN TO ADD: Apparently Jeff has posted to the SH website saying that they'll be taking a few weeks off and hopefully resuming on 3 May. I hope the time off does them a world of good, sounds as though they need it.)

I actually Big "YES!"-ed when I saw it pop up in my RSS feeds.
Well, it's sort of back, anyway; the week of comics that has just run is technically a re-run of the last week of comics before the hiatus. The first genuinely new comic to everyone, on GoComics and Skin Horse's website alike, is coming up on Monday. Looking forward to it already!
Per today's strip, this is the last week of the comic. I've really enjoyed it...tempted to read Narbonic to see what led up to Skin Horse.
And the final strip ran today. I haven't followed Skin Horse for the entire run (as I may have mentioned in this thread, I hopped in at some point during "Big Bad Wolves" in mid-2009, about a year and a half after the first comic), but I've definitely been following it for more than long enough to be emotionally invested in it, and, as the cliché goes, rather than being sad that it's over, I'm glad that it happened, and grateful to Shaenon and Jeff for making it happen.
(This does mean the list of comics I follow online continues to get shorter as they either end, succumb to permanent hiatus, or go in a direction that makes me lose interest. Although I'm not looking to pick up any new webcomics, before anyone points me toward the relevant thread; I have plenty of sources of entertainment already.)
