Hmmm... assuming that a "Nice Guy" is a passive-agressive misogynist without the qualification "genuine" would require a rather jaded outlook.
Personally I'd prefer a clean-up over a rename and moving all the inapropriate examples to Dogged Nice Guy. Oh and remove the link to this trope on Entitled to Have You cause it might have caused some of the misuse.

The dating-context nice guy is covered under Dogged Nice Guy.

Um... could we get some references for this misuse? Because I've never seen it misused like that.
The only potential issue that I have seen for this is that there's no clear cut off for what makes someone a Nice Guy versus just not a Jerkass. But even that rarely causes problems.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. The trope is called Nice Guy, not ''Nice Guy''. I don't think it needs changing unless there's significant misuse. Well, not even then, since that internet definition is only used ironically. Or that name for it, at any rate.

Check out my fanfiction! The "stereotypical Internet Nice Guy" misuse should probably be moved to Entitled to Have You (type B).
But how significcant is the misuse anyway? I don't actually see it used in that context very often...
Since this page already doesn't have examples, I think it would be best to tweak it a bit to make it a disambiguation page between several "nice" related tropes, including Dogged Nice Guy and Entitled to Have You.
Yes, we've had several requests for actual evidence of misuse, but the OP hasn't even come back... thus far I'm not even slightly convinced that any action needs to be taken.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I think the whole disambiguation part is unnecessary since it conflates Dogged Nice Guy (a guy trying to win a girl's heart through helpfulness and perseverance) with the Internet Nice Guy whose niceness is purely sex-motivated.

Ditto.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Aye, this thread should not be open. No misuse of any kind (other than in this thread, which doesn't count really) has been demonstrated, and demonstrating it was requested above.

This trope refers to a character that's a genuinely good person, but I keep seeing people use it to mean the stereotypical Internet Nice Guy: somebody who thinks that acting nice to women obligates them to have sex with you or date you in return, and complains about being "friendzoned." My suggestion for a new name for this trope is Genuinely Nice Guy. What do you say?
