Hate how long the video had to take when the audio was out for a week. But at least it was worth the wait. Like the last battle, Joker won this one though Pennywise did have some good lines. Joker's lines just hit harder, same as with Vlad the Impaler's. Both Peter and Lloyd got enveloped into their characters, which rarely happens. This overtakes the Fast Food Mascot Battle for top episode of this season in my view.
I'm surprised at the next battle that was teased at the end. I thought for sure it'd be the season finale because it seemed to have the most hype around it, so I'm very curious to know what the season finale this time is going to be.
I gotta say I sided with Pennywise on this one. Liked his delivery better.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."I'm giving slightly to Pennywise, which surprises me. I think the deciding factor is that there was at least one Joker burn that doesn't work (the claim that Pennywise's movies sink, which is decidedly false.) It also helps that Pennywise mostly shrugged on Joker's taunts, while Joker was definitely rattled by Pennywise's implied threat against Batman.

Pennywise also had better visual representation, down to going One-Winged Angel in the end, while Joker mostly just walked around and filled dear air with laughter.
"All you Fascists bound to lose.""I spit January Ember flames / You got beat by the scooby gang / I'm the John Wayne of John Wayne Gacy's Underground Clown Posse, my flow's insane!" is unbeatable for me. The following "I'm the poster boy for missing person's posters / Joker's gonna float with me" were also great, though I feel like the Notorious BIG reference wasn't the strongest note to end the battle on.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."If we look at the battle from a rhetorical perspective, I think the Joker had the most convincing argument for his superiority.
I make the Justice League look like just a bunch of super schlubs
You lost to a herd of nerds who call themselves the Loser's Club
I mean, it's pretty hard to argue with that.

No beer?! But if there's no beer, then there's no beef or beans! The Cask of Amontillado seems to primarily be a clown-based reference. Fortunado is (dressed like) a jester and is lured to his death underground by Montressor. It's not hard to track that to Pennywise luring Joker (a.k.a a Jester) to his death underground (as is his M.O to kill people underground). Pennywise basically spells it out by way of calling Joker "You jester / I'm montressor".
Well if you go by King canon, Pennywise is still around despite the Loser's Club. You could make the case Pennywise aced it with his reference to how Batman keeps beating him and how Pennywise is eons-old ("I'm the Derry, Maine attraction, every 27 years").
Oppenheimer ran away with this one from the Creepy Monotone to the sick burns to the radio filter.
They kind of dropped the ball with Thanos, though. Very impressive make-up, but Thanos in the MCU speaks with a very smooth and quiet baritone (more reminiscent of their takes on Vader, Robocop or even Julius Caesar), which for some reason they didn't even try to reach.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Was that supposed to be Thanos or a Sontaran cosplaying Thanos?

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyThanos might have had a better rap, but he didn't look much better than a cheap Halloween costume and yeah, he really didn't sound much like Thanos.
Oppenheimer also had better burns. "Squirrel Girl kicked your ass" and "Lady Death didn't want to go out with you" are much better material than "you kept having affairs with married women" and "you're a communist".
Fresh-eyed movie blog

I really liked this one, I think Joker took it but Pennywise got his fair share of hits in.
