Well, on the plus side, Uma was saved and the girl in the Heterodyne costume was not hurt, as I feared she might have given how deep the knife bit
. On the minus side, the cartoonist's wife, who'd been making a recovery from her cancer, died. My prayers go out to him.
Things are steadily moving forward. With the reveal of the foam balls in the last update, I was expecting crossplay, but the form looks female, actually a little like Jane Mighty, although that might be due to Ed's somewhat limited drawing skills.
And it looks like whoever it is (named Vera by Ed) may have powers based on the artwork.
It looks like Prayut might get away with it or maybe not depending on what exactly the Voting reward about "And now I'm going to commit a felony" means. On a side note, Ed confirmed that Vera is female and apologized for limited art skills. I told him to not be so hard on himself and to remember there's a reason why we have Only Six Faces on this site. It's that common.
Ah, and indeed, the "felony" involves aiding and abetting his escape, although I have my doubts on how well that will stick in this world of superheroes.
I still don't sympathize with Jintara. There's a difference between "protect your brother" and "enable him to commit felonies against other people".
I'm kind of inclined to think she comes from the same source as the robot in the neighborhood... although the prior conversation about the explosive ingredients reminds me of June.
