King Features still owns Popeye but it’s not like WB could get the license. I mean WildBrain did so a while back.

Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The Game
I'm surprised a mainstream outlet hasn't reported on it yet, but some individual eventgoers
noted its cancellation announcement at the Annecy. The event took place in France, by the way, hence the native tongue.
Well, a new guy just took over the comic and he's actually quite good.
But since no one on the site reported this, Everett Peck, creator of Squirrel Boy and - more importantly - Duckman passed away on Tuesday.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Craig McCracken revealed
some of the art he contributed to the newly-released Gorillaz art book. Shows some of Murdoc in jail with the Gangreen Gang (without Ace, cuz Ace became a temporary member of Gorillaz).
I love how this is technically canon to the Powerpuff Girls world lol.
Hate to be late to the party, but yeah, RIP Everett Peck. I've not seen much Duckman, but I know very well how highly regarded it is, and the little I've seen convinces me it deserves the praise it gets.
Now if you want my two cents regarding Squirrel Boy, I agree that the show is overhated, but in the end, its a rather unremarkable show imo. CN Studios' productions are many things, but unremarkable is one thing they generally aren't and I think that's why people often view Squirrel Boy with such disdain.
"Detecting trace amounts of mental activity. Possibly a dead weasel or a cartoon viewer."Jason DeMarco, the co-creator of Toonami, recently
did a Q&A on Twitter and Reddit. You can most of the details in the Toonami thread
, but I wanted to share some highlights that also apply to Cartoon Network and Adult Swim:
- Looking into making "fun, action oriented shows for kids 6-11" for Cartoon Network
- Been begging WB for years to let them air DC shows "at a price we can afford". Seeing "encouraging signs" regarding that.
- "Haven't heard anything" regarding more Ballmastrz
- Rick and Morty: The Anime will be on Adult Swim proper
- The Shivering Truth would be the one canceled AS show he'd bring back
- In other news, Shivering Truth was apparently canceled!
CN and [as] are suddenly erasing several of their shows from existence, such as removing them from their sites and taking down their YT vids. These include
- Final Space
- Dream Corp LLC or whatever its called
- Elliott from Earth
- Thundercats Roar
- Beef House
- JJ Villard's Fairy Tales
- Power Players
- The Fungies (at least in Europe and Asia), and
- Little Ellen (S3 of this show was supposed to air a week ago but it was delayed indefinitely)
Someone add this to Screwed by the Network.
Sinners are TRASH / And they are A**HOLESI wouldn't be shocked if they can Little Ellen. It's a shame though because it's a visually distinct show that's ruined because of the name attached to it.
Get taxed. Idiot.Well, with the rise of Tik Tok and Youtube celebrities among the same crowd who likes to watch cartoons, you'd think it would be a match made in heaven for cartoonists.

Hope shines brightest in the darkest times

This deal was announced very recently, building upon Genndy's already ongoing Warner projects like Primal Season 2, and Unicorn: Warriors Eternal. (By the way, we just got new developments about that project yesterday! Highly recommend checking out its thread.)
Yeah, odds are that he might have finished with Black Knight and Fixed if he was able to sign an exclusivity deal with WBA and CNS. (At least, in my opinion.)
Now if you'll excuse me...
(*builds a prayer circle to have Tartakovsky's Popeye movie at WBA*)
EDIT: Pagetopper. Started a new page by accident.
Side note, a new Looney Tunes movie? And it isn't a CG/live-action hybrid?! Took them long enough!
