There are plenty of ways to call out how stupid Grievous is without missing obvious facts.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"![]()
He was clearly lying, he knows that grevious is an android, he just decided that he could get a number of gags out of lying and saying he's a regular droid.
Again it's not poor watching, it's a deliberate choice to pretend the movies are different from how they are for comedic effect.
Christ, Age of Ultron. Now that one was just poorly watched.
"His shield magically comes back to him! What the hell? It's not like this wasn't explicitly shown earlier in the movie!"

Thing is, the director isn't pissed about somebody taking the piss out of their work - what's annoying them is how bad Cinema Sins seems to be at doing that.
As somebody who gets annoyed every time Jeremy gets something so wrong you get the feeling he didn't actually watch the movie - I can fully sympathise.
And no, getting stuff deliberately wrong doesn't make it any better. That's just lazy, in my opinion.
We learn from history that we do not learn from historyNope. Well, depends on point of view about what you mean with getting angry about.
That is equivalent to if Nintendo would slam youtube reviewers publicly for bad reviews, rich person being angry about homeless guy crying about rich people being greedy, country of Sweden being angry about Finns making jokes about their neighborhood or whatever the current president of USA is doing regarding media
Like I said, its really unprofessional.
Sure, they can be angry in private, but doing this public is just disgraceful.

Doesn't matter~ It will come across to public as them being angry because they were criticized even if they claim "I'm not angry, I'm just saying its bad satire". Even if you are most altruistic rich person in the world, if you complain about poor people thinking rich people are evil it will come across as petty. As I said, its disgraceful.
Hell, counter criticism always come across as childish unless 1) you are on equal standing, 2) its a conversation between critic and artist, or 3) you are being defamed and you have to engage public relations to counter being defamed
Doesn't matter how "justified" you are in terms of how crappy the criticism was, in most cases the criticism can't threaten your livelihood.

How can they come across as being angry about being criticised if Cinema Sins isn't even critique, but satire, though?
If the series was actually a critique, the director's reaction would be even more justified.

We learn from history that we do not learn from history

... and I like Grievous but I get it.
