Oh, lord. Family animated films seem to be among the stupidest ever made. I'm pretty sure I've watched this with my son.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Ah, Skull Island.
It might be one of the best "shut your brain off and enjoy the action" because putting any modicum of thought into the movie will just cause a headache. But the action is fun and the visuals are great. It's just every single scene is propelled by coincidence, luck, or plot holes.
Also, the Asian chick may be the worst example of pandering to China I've ever seen (both in terms of execution and idea). Do we have a trope for that yet?

I'm talking about the recent trend of pandering to the international market by having a big international star, or a scene set there, or having their country save the day. 9/10 it's China.
CS brings it up here, and in The Martian, a few Transformers movies, probably more times.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.It has been showing up quite a bit lately. Not just a Token Minority, but a specific demographic that the writers want to attract to the movie by portraying them in an ostentatiously positive light.
Also, I am getting a tad fed up with Jeremy for sins that blatantly show he's not paying attention to the film, even absent any external context.

Agreed on that account in general, but I'm fine with the "why hasn't anyone explored it yet?" sin. If the area is as "notorious" as they say, some effort to look into it likely would have happened. "It's inaccessible by boat" makes very little sense when it was accessible by much more fragile helicopters. It's a sin of trying to have its cake and eat it, too. The area is mysterious and unknown, but at the same time they're writing it as notoriously scary. Ditto the "countersin" about the Washington, DC thing. CS' point there was fine.
But things like "the pilot manages to miss a target at range immediately after freaking crashing" is a bit much. And the sandwich sin was utterly nonsensical. That one genuinely puzzled me as I was watching the video.

We Are With You Zack Snyder
I think she was there because Legendary Entertainment has been a subsidiary of the Wanda Group since 2016. They are a Chinese company; they might have an agreement where they have to include Chinese actors in their movie.
I'm not really sure about that though.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI don't know... there are sins that are obviously just for humor value, such as "scene does not contain a lap dance"; there are sins that are based on genuine issues of believability, continuity, and verisimilitude; and there are sins based on overuse of cliches. But there are also sins that are factually wrong based on evidence trivially available in the film, and those aren't particularly funny; rather, they hurt the channel's credibility with viewers who are interested in it for genuine criticism.

X5 I don't think it's that he isn't paying attention, I think he strait up deliberately makes things to sin up, he wants a certain number of gags and sins from the film and he has no issue making things up to get what he sees as a viable joke.

“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ CyranCinema Sins has always had a problem with having its cake and eating it too. It wants to do both legitimate criticism and some nebulously defined conception of satire, and whenever it's criticized it points out "it's just satire".
Age of Ultron had a moment Jeremy complained about Stark finding a secret door at random despite the fact the previous 13 seconds of the film were dedicated to Stark shouting to Jarvis to scan the room to find out if there are any secret doors and then Jarvis observing there is a unusual wind current to the wall on Stark's left, indicating a secret door. It's one of those sins were basically invented because there's no actual way to miss that when you watch the scene.
There's also a running tendency to have quips about complaining when the film spoonfeeds you information and then complaining the movie didn't spoonfeed you information.
Cinema Sins works best when it's doing the "Joking" Sins (like "Liam Neeson isn't killing anyone in this scene") rather than trying their hand at actual criticism because they keep running into brick walls of either not paying attention or just making shit up to pad out for time.

"All you Fascists bound to lose."

I found the whole Curving the bullet thing in Wanted rather idiotic since it defies the Laws of Physics yet some people think they can do it in real life
