I know, it's my post, but I've been swamped with finals for the past few days. Don't worry. Tomorrow's my last final and then I'm off until August. Then I'll be able to post a bit more regularly, hopefully.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Sorry, I'll post.
@ Tricksen: At no point did I say the cyclopes have small shields - they're basically equivalent to Roman Scuta, but sized for the giant creatures. Like I said before, they're about 7 foot-tall rectangles, which is more than large enough to block any projectile if they just duck or kneel down a little. Don't make me draw a picture.

Flesh is a design flaw.@ Tricksterson: Yes, you can speak/shout while incapacitated.
@ Tricksen: Yeah, just keep in mind they have helmets that offer some protection to their eyes. The old sand-in-the-eyes trick Ishaq tried would have worked if their shields weren't in the way.
I'll post again shortly.

Flesh is a design flaw.@ Philosopher Stones: Chereen's armor-piercing Heartstrike arrows couldn't pierce these crazy shields at the beginning of the fight, so your nonspecific power certainly can't. Furthermore, you don't have Split-Arrow, a power really unto itself. The way you wrote Suncraft, it sounds like it adds a temporary solar damage enchantment (which might pierce mundane body armor, but not metal shields) to any weapon you specify, or creates a temporary sun-weapon.
I hate to do this, but these monsters are tough and require some tactical thought to beat. Shooting once and killing all three of them with a frontal assault is ridiculous, and Chereen is still on the ground waiting for someone to cast a heal spell on him.
Flesh is a design flaw.I've learnt to like it, in a way.
I was unsure when Melqarth was instantly wounded, but- I got over it.
Speaking of, I haven't posted yet because I'm just trying to think of what Melqarth would do, whether he'd try and go further into the Temple, and in searching out the rest of the cultists meet with Thrall's Character (Who's name has slipped my mind currently), or try fighting the Cyclopsi with the others.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this postBlinding would work, that's totally in the realm of what Sun-enchanted things can do; just shoot around the shields to make sure the cyclops can see it when it goes off.
Edit: Also, the plural of Cyclops is Cyclopes. I've seen so many inventive ways of pluralizing this word at this point I just have to say something.

Flesh is a design flaw.Personally, I prefer the allegedly 'brutal' style of GMing. A game's no fun if you're basically handed everything on a silver platter and get your way all the time. No challenge to it, and everything. Though, that said, it might be good to finish up this fight sometime soon, it's been going on nearly three weeks.
Regarding 'cyclopes': Huh, so that's how you do it.
Yes, I am growing tired of this battle as well. I'm going to cut it down a bit from what I planned, so basically all the remaining enemies are currently on the field and you are aware of them. Except Draclius himself, but he can't have gotten far.
Edit: Going to wait for at least one other post. This rear attack is very close, hopefully Buliwyf or Sethos can safely deal with them before it's too late.

Flesh is a design flaw.

I'm posting slowly at least partially on purpose; I'm trying to give everyone a turn, or at least a chance to be aware of what's going on between my posts while things are chaotic like this. I fear Zak-thaael is a lost cause at this point.
Also, I'll give you the option to toss the rubble at the crossbowmen near you since they're using you for target practice. I kind of feel like I should be drawing diagrams for this fight.
