Then again your arm is numb, so maybe it's not so bad. Still, disease.

Can anyone give me a rundown on what's happening everywhere? I've been dealing with some IRL issues for the last 4 days.

/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?

Everyone got attacked by some creepy dudes with crossbows and stabbing tools, but they all got killed, now we're all just chilling out doing nothing much. Some people are rocking injuries and stuff, though.

The players were ambushed by diseased men on the road from the harbor to the temple, locations described in the first post in this thread. In the fighting, Melquarth, Solhildr, and Ishaq seem to have contracted a few diseases themselves, which have stubbornly withstood healing magic. Having killed the ambush teams, comprised of ~21 men, the players are safe for now.

How should I enter the group? I want to find some sort of organic way to do it rather than just "walk up, HEY GUYS!"...

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.

Would you mind being a captive of the Parlat guys? I'll give you a couple NPCs to interact with (and maybe some opportunities to undermine them) until the party meets you.

Edit: Guess I was too slow.

Yeah, I can't have you in or near the temple unless you're sneaking around or being held captive.

You're right, I'm an idiot. xD

I changed it so that he's a captive; and also, they've taken his orichalcum weapons and armor. Considering that I established that orichalcum is rare and valuable, it'd make sense.

I should REALLY pay more attention before I post. Wow... ^^;;

Great, thanks. I may have to slow down my posting for the rest of the day, so everyone bear with me. For now, everyone else assume Glaukon and the rest of the captives are not visible from the outside of the temple.

I won't be that technical about it. Just announce your intention and I'll play it out. If you fire more rapidly, you're probably not going to have the accuracy to hit specific body parts, though.

Things are getting progressively more busy for me, and I may post less frequently as a result. But I should return to normal some time next week.

Yeah, I've been busy with a wedding and finals. I should be able to post again regularly from tomorrow on, when that's all through. I'm sorry this all happened right when a battle was starting.

I posted, finally. I hope I accounted for everyone's actions previous to it. You're not doing so well, regardless. Planning your strategy before attacking will get you much farther.

Everyone is conscious, but Chereen, Buliwyf, and Aetheondaughter are all incapacitated with pain and are bleeding pretty badly. Buliwyf can, of course, ignore pain if he chooses to.

If the horse should die, we'll just say she can be resummoned unhurt on the following day.

@ Tricksterson: You can't treat your wounds while incapacitated. You also should never try to "suck the poison out;" that only makes things worse (especially when it's basically just pure disease). Real life tip.

@ Tricksen: You're grossly overestimating your weapon's blessing, and your character's strength. The Cyclopes are the only ones holding those shields for a reason: they're improvised tower shields, meaning they're ~7-foot rectangles of thick wood and metal, terribly cumbersome even for them (and they have super strength as a race power). Imagine a creature less than half their size holding onto one of those in one hand with an adult human being in the other, while simultaneously trying to fly.

Also, you cannot uproot trees with your offensive teleport power - that's crazy. You can grab people and still fly (awkwardly) with them, but I'm going to set a limit of nothing far beyond 200 pounds with that power; that means you may still attempt to steal those shields, but you're going to need to loosen the Cyclopes' grip first.

Since I don't know how long until the next GM post: If no one takes Ishaq up on his offer, assume he drops/chucks the debris at the cyclopses to keep them busy. Assuming he isn't like, shot down or something before that happens. Otherwise, ignore me.
