It's also rife with takedowns, so we're gonna be playing whack-a-mole with the dead links a lot as copyright bots find the video footage and take them down. Major major problem there. As of this writing:
Not accessible in the US: Africa, Alone, Ghostbusters, Girlfriend, Head over Heels, I Want to Break Free, Land Down Under, Like a Prayer, No Surprises, Safety Dance, White Wedding, With Arms Wide Open
Taken down: Billie Jean, Daydream Believer, Friday, Hooked on a Feeling, I'd Do Anything for Love, Jingle Bell Rock, Love Is a Battlefield, Making Love Out of Nothing at All, One Week, Penny Lane, Sabotage, Separate Ways, We Built This City
Accessible: Babs Seed, Birdhouse in Your Soul, Blue (Da Ba Dee), Grenade, Hard Times, I Believe in a Thing Called Love, Ik Ben Verliefd Op Jou, Just a Friend, Literal Pants, Loser, Never Gonna Give You Up, Oasis, Rainbow Connection, Ritme van den Regen, Smells Like Teen Spirit, Take On Me, Total Eclipse of the Heart, Under the Bridge, Video Killed the Radio Star, Way to Your Heart, We Didn't Start the Fire, We Made You, Wonderwall, You're Beautiful
Wiki Magic. Looking over the page's history, I see a pretty average rate of edit turnover. If there is a progression to fewer working links I can't see it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanBefore closing out this discussion, some troper should make an effort to rewrite a few examples properly, since Weblinks Are Not Examples.
This is also overly narrow, as it misses the idea of applying literal words/lyrics to other things. For example, Tobuscus made his start on You Tube by doing "Literal Trailers" for films and video games.
The article needs to make up its mind whether it's a genre index or a trope. Regardless, you don't have a good article when all the links are external. Surely we must have, at the very least, Creator or Music pages for some of the artists who do these.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"

Literal Music Video.
A lot of the links have recently died, and some of the LMS are horrible (the Nirvana one is terrible). This seems a lot more niche of a work than say, YouTube Poop, especially since a lot of them have been taken down. Is there even enough here to warrant a page? It's always been just a random list, nothing more.
