Yeah...I think the reviews were as big a factor in the way I've come to view my Old Shame works as the stories themselves.
Looking for some stories? From guest: "how the fuck do they have coconuts in crimea"
For reference, the word "Coconut" is only used as the name of one of the characters' horses, and only offhanded, and only twice.
I... just like how the word Coconut out of context was the only thing he cared about in the story.

On one of my Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess fanfics, "Westward!" https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6533685/1/Westward
From a reviewer going by "kindigo"
It was left something on the order of three years ago, but I've always kept a mental note of that review and kept it in my heart because it is the best and most amusing review I have ever received on anything, ever.
In which I attempt to be a writer.Got these replies to Distant Hearts
a while ago. Spoiler tags have been added for FMA (manga/Brotherhood) ending spoilers.
If you let Edward get a Magic Boost, then he could become able to use Final Fantasy-originated Magic, such as; Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Magnet, Gravity, and/or Aero.
Also, it would let him be able to use that Magic to improve/enhance his Alchemy.
That's one way of thinking that Ed should have a Magic Boost used on him.
So many things wrong with this. First, I don't know what the heck he's talking about with these "boosts." I've played all the KH games besides Birth by Sleep (due to lack of access) and Coded (due to lack of interest), so unless it's something from those games, I've got nothing. Second, this fic's timeframe is nowhere near long enough for anyone to learn alchemy. Third, I am not giving Ed his alchemy back. He gave it up for a reason.
Then when I ignored him, he left this:
What do you MEAN the author won't cater to my nonsensical whims? -RAGEQUIT-
That's about the weirdest I've gotten. I don't get too many noteworthy comments, especially since most of my fics are one-shots.

I won't directly quote it since most of the conversation was over P Ms, but back in writing In The Service, there was one guy who believed with all his being that among the many mecha shoutouts that Nanoha made, it was missing one.
It needed a character who was an obvious reference to Macross. Or Robotech. But there needed to be a VF. And I was the one true writer who could hope to do it for him.

Nous restons ici.Someone left a review on my Frozen fanfic telling me Anna was being "too arrogant" and therefore deserved to die.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. In my TTGL fic, I decided to write a small omake that had nothing to do with the story, in which I applied TTGL physics to Ed Edd And Eddy, just for fun. There was a point I received more reviews commenting on the omake than the actual chapter.
My work is here. Current main fic: Tengen Toppa Gurren SolverniaLet's see...
I got this on my Fruits Basket poetry collection:
...Did a Mary Sue just ssk if she could be in my fic?
And then there's this one I got on my Crack Fic, I Saw Yuki and Kyo Making Out:
There's more, but those are what I think are the weirdest/most irritating.

This thread is for those among you who write fanfiction, and have gotten reviews that you thought were funny, awesome, or just plain weird.
A few odd reviews I've gotten over the years....
