Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
• When writing a profile, take note of the following:
• The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
• If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
• In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
• If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
• Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
• Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
• For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
• For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
• No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
• You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
• When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
• When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
• You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
• For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
• For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
• 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
• Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
• For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
• For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
• 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
• Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
• The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
• Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "[tup]" or "[tdown]".
• Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
• Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
• Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
• On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
• You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
• When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
• Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
• Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
• To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
• Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:
• When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
• Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
• All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
• The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
• A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
• If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
• For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
• For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
• Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
• Pantheon Content:
• Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
• As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
• Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
• For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
• Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
• For Profile Standards:
• Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
• Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
• A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
• Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
• On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
• Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
• A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
• Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
• Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
• A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
• Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
    Divine Ranking System
• Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
• Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
• Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
• Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
• Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
• Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
    Templates
Template for adding a new deity: God X, God/Goddess/Deity of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
• An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
• Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
• Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
• Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
• Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
• For Pokémon deities only:
• Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
• Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
• Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
• Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
• Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
• Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
• High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
• Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
• Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
• Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.

• Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
• Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
• Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
• Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
• Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
• Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
• Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
• Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
• Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
• OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
• Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
• The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
• The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
• Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
• And some more trivia/facts.
• And a couple more.
• Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles: Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
• An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
• Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
• Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
• Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
• Domains: Things that the place has links to.
• Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
• Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
• Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
• And some more trivia/facts.
• And a couple more.
• Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
Template for Treasure profiles: The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
• An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
• Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
• Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
• Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
• Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
• Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
• Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
• Domains: Things that the item has links to.
• Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
• Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
• Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
• And some more trivia/facts.
• And a couple more.
• Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

The Scrappy and Butt-Monkey of the Pantheon Thread
#193426: Oct 6th 2022 at 3:01:08 AM

@TPPR: If I was going to go for the Warlord, I would excise the Pokemon Conquest bits from Azai Nagamasa's profile and add them to the Aurora Warlord (and treat them like Robin, Corrin, Byleth, Shepard) in regards to being either gender, and then I would expand on how Warriors and Warlords in Ransei work in contrast to standard Trainers elsewhere in the Pokemon World.

So, maybe it's better to just nominate the Region instead in that case if the Warlords don't work out.

Now that we're finally in the next page, and now that I've caught up on the entire series, time for the first draft for the Animorphs.

Evaluation Mode

Still very patchy. I'm sure you understand.

of the Pantheon that have various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.) other than allies, rivals, or enemies.
• Respected by/Respects:
• Pitied by/Pities:
• Opposes: golden eagles, crows, jays, seagulls, pigeons, most water deities (Tobias)
• Opposed by: Most dinosaur deities (Tobias)
• Conflicting Opinion: Iroque
• Their story begins when five 13-year-old kids (an average boy named Jake, his best friend Marco, Jake's cousin Rachel, her best friend Cassie, and bully magnet Tobias, who gravitated towards Jake after he had scared off some bullies from him) took a shortcut through an abandoned construction site, where they happened upon an alien ship, as well as its Andalite occupant, a dying Prince Elfangor. He warned them of the secret Yeerk invasion already in progress, and gave them the power to morph into any living being they touch, before meeting his end in the hands of the invasion's leader Visser Three. They would soon be joined by Elfangor's younger brother Aximili, Ax for short, after Tobias and Cassie received his thought-speak distress signal while his vessel was stuck deep in the ocean. The Animorphs—named such by Marco—went to investigate thanks to having acquired dolphins to make the trip safely and include him in the team. At first, he counted himself apart from the Animorphs, but over time his status as their Sixth Ranger became official.
• And so they fought a guerilla warfare against Visser Three and his Controllers that lasted three years, not necessarily to win, but to hold out for backup from the Andalite fleet. And the Animorphs would not come out unscathed. In fact, not all of them make it through alive at the end of the war on Earth. Eventually, after rescuing Marco's mother Eva—Visser One's host—just as Visser One herself was about to be executed for political reasons, Visser Three was promoted into the new Visser One, and the war eventually became more open as the Yeerks finally start analyzing blood samples upon finally suspecting that some of the "Andalite bandits" may actually be humans, requiring the team to evacuate their parents and reveal the truth to them (exc. Ax, whose parents are still in his homeworld, and Marco, who already had his father extracted and their deaths faked in a previous mission). While Cassie's and Rachel's were safely extracted (though the latter's father was a whole state away), Jake's were already seized by the Yeerk Controlling his brother Tom (and he recklessly revealed his morphing to them in response), and Tobias took a very risky mission to get his long-lost mother Loren safely too.
• By the end of it all, "auxiliary" Animorphs were recruited (and eventually sacrificed in battle), there was an alliance with the Taxxons, the Chee were blackmailed and eventually ties severed with them, Rachel was sent on a suicide mission and died, Visser One surrendered and was removed from Alloran, negotiations were made with the Andalite fleet (and it being broadcast to their civilian network, who would not be happy with the glassing of Earth), Ax was promoted to Prince and ambassador for Earth, Tobias took off and never returned except to retrieve the urn holding Rachel's cremated remains and only one last time at the confrontation with the One, Marco drank in the fame the Animorphs got, Earth became a tourist spot for upper-class Andalites so they can enjoy the sense of taste and they're even pining for a Krispy Kreme franchise in their home world, Jake became clinically depressed but still functional, etc.. But after receiving word of Ax's situation, Jake rounded everyone up except Cassie since she's now busy with social committments and supporting the free Hork-Bajir, and the last of the group were last seen about to ram a Blade Ship against an assimilating being called The One.
• In the old days in the Pantheon, it had just been Tobias who was ascended under the trope Shapeshifter Mode Lock. Sometime later, Ax would join him with the trope Two of Your Earth Minutes. As for why the Animorphs as a whole fit Transformation Fiction and Shapeshifting Heals Wounds, it's because of the following: 1) Animorphs is (besides fending off an alien invasion and all the horror war entails) all about teenagers being granted with the ability to shapeshift into any animal they touch, and eventually other aliens, and even other humans, though it's not a line they cross casually out of necessity and circumstance on Earth. 2) Their morphing not only resets any injuries incurred, it's extremely crucial for their continual survival as they recover from horrific wounds up to and including limb loss once per book.
• Applies to all or some of them:
• Through arcane and timey-wimey methods, Tobias and Ax were given instructions to move to a new temple, and in there they reunited with Jake and Marco (who were surprised to somehow made it out alive, as well as seeing Ax alive), followed by Cassie (surprise to even be here, but is awkward around Jake). And for the sake of dramatic flair, the Court representatives then showed Rachel, prompting Tobias to immediately morph human and embrace her, reaching her about the same time as Cassie. During this moment, Jake and Marco ask Ax about his situation with or as part of the One, but the Andalite refuses to elaborate, and the Court representatives recognize this as trauma and tells the boys not to ask him before he's ready, if he ever will be.
• And then, because it was important, since she was told it specifically because she was dying, Rachel decided to tell everyone about the Ellimist's backstory, or at least what he told her: his past as a Ketran named Toomin (and that "Ellimist" was essentially a gaming username), which explained his treatment of everything as a game (and one of the "ascenders" noted it was basically Twitch, which was founded two decades after the Animorphs' adventures), his kind's demise from the Capasins and flight of its remnants, their capture by the entity called Father, his games with and eventual assimilation of Father, the crafting of his new biological-mechanical-synthetic vessel to sail the cosmos, his journey across it as he sought a new purpose in his life with his new power and choosing to be a peacekeeper, his encounter with Crayak and the beginning of their bitter games, his direct hand in developing the Andalite race (and creating the Pemalites), his plan of Panspermia to counteract Crayak's genocide (of which the Pemalites are also agents of), their direct conflict that almost destroyed the universe, Crayak's black hole trap that inevitably turned him into the cosmic god the Animorphs know him as now before Crayak himself followed Ellimist into it after annihilating all the other parts, and their arrangement of their ultimate game.
• Once that was done with, Rachel then commented that coming back like this wasn't what she thought Crayak had in mind when she ended up "taking that deal". When asked by Jake and the others, she realized what she just said and confessed to the deal the Drode had offered her: "Remember this: Your cousin's life is your passport to salvation in the arms of Crayak." Obviously, it was implied through Crayak's despisal of Jake that he was the target, but she technically fulfilled the deal when she killed Tom under Jake's orders.
• ...now came the form of the temple (which was a version of one of Marco's swanky homes post-war, but at ground-floor level, with accommodations for the other Animorphs, and an outdoor area for Ax to graze in and to set up his scoop, which has a World Almanac during the Nineties and other research-type books, a photo of his Trademark Favorite Food the cinnamon bun (and other foods he likes), a few human clothes for his human morph, some computer equipment, and a television for watching "these messages", a.k.a. commercials), as well as the idea of "heralds", if it would be okay/right to bring up the Auxiliary Animorphs. There was certainty that Jake would refuse since he knowingly sent them all to their deaths, that they would certainly not forgive for it, and that Jake would not want to be forgiven, and they were ultimately correct.
• Because of the aftermath of the series, the group actually isn't as united anymore. Due to Jake's war crime of flushing 17,372 host-less Yeerks out into space (though not the blackmailing of the Chee before that since she was complicit in this), Cassie mostly stays away when he's around, only staying in touch through the others, particularly her best friend Rachel. Tobias also resents Jake for sending Rachel on a suicide mission to kill Tom and letting her die, though Rachel herself has told him that she knew this had to be done, that she made the choice to commit to it, and will not stand for either him or Cassie taking that choice from her. And it's certainly a big change for everyone to handle, the fact that the Pantheon was not a place of normalcy, that the war was essentially over (reduced to personal skirmishes), and that their exploits were essentially public knowledge (though only for those who are interested in looking them up).
• In terms of what might happen to any new acquired morphs should any of them die in the Pantheon, Tobias and Ax had discovered (and later relayed it to Jake et al.) that because Z-Space is heavily involved in the morphing process, it seems that all acquired morphs will remain even between death and revival in the Pantheon. Because of that, there's no need to re-acquire morphs each time they die. However, they've been informed of another restriction: after acquiring someone, the Animorph in question must go to sleep until morning for it to be "saved" permanently in their roster. If they die before then, then that acquired creature is lost. This is meant to disincentivise reckless acquiring and actively exploiting the Pantheon's revival system for this purpose (as it is certain Rachel or Jake would try that).
• As heavily traumatized people, they were directed to Dr. Frasier Crane for therapy, and he's seen enough strange things in the Pantheon by now to not be too confused with what they've been through. Of course, he had to work to earn their trust since the war and the nature of their enemy had made them unable to trust easily. Jake and Rachel are his most frequent visitors among the Animorphs, the latter almost desperately wanting these sessions even if she still has a lot of issues that end up almost threatening Frasier's life a few times. But ever since becoming a Pantheon resident, he's learned to deal with these "shenanigans".
• Despite having almost entirely grown out of doing juvenile vigilante acts like swiping guns from hunters, destroying reputations of animal-abusive establishments, or pretending to be janitors while in the form of animals, the Animorphs (exc. possibly Jake) have not grown out of enjoying the thermals while in bird morphs (usually birds of prey, but other options besides seagulls are being looked into since a peregrine falcon, bald eagle, two ospreys, a red-tailed hawk, and a harrier don't exactly form a flock). They usually do this when they need to get somewhere fast, but don't need to carry a lot. As a side-effect, rollercoasters and the like have become blase for them unless using them for a pre-takeoff speed boost. That said, after Marco saw the benefits of ducks, they've started acquiring other fliers that travel in flocks naturally.
• Being essentially Child Soldiers in a guerilla war with a bunch of Puppeteer Parasites who hide inside their hosts and can pass off as them perfectly meant a lot of secret keeping and distrust of authority figures, and they had ZERO mentors to guide them (with Elfangor dying after just one conversation). To treat any of them as Just a Kid means an instant loss of trust from them. Thankfully, there are a lot more understanding adults who don't dismiss kids out of hand, but their concern is more on their too-swift maturity and all the trauma they've suffered over the course of the war. And because of the Ellimist's manipulations, when the Animorphs were approached by Cosmos, she had to commit to a an extremely days-long negotiation with them to earn their trust. As a testament to her ability to unite so many from various backgrounds together, she managed to successfully convince the Animorphs—even Jake and Marco—of her sincerity.
• Thanks to her having seen them in their "morphing outfits" one time they demorphed in her line of sight, the Animorphs got themselves new threads for that job after Rarity all but forced them to visit her boutique (plus offering a few cute outfits for Ax's Andalite body). Thanks to Edna Mode happening to visit, the two fashion designers also brainstormed tougher suits as well as skintight footwear that weren't a thing in The '90s. True, the Animorphs (sans Ax and Tobias, usually) turn into alternate forms anyway when battling, but extra defense as humans wouldn't hurt. And when it comes to communications with those fluent in "animal language" such as Tarzan, N Harmonia, Ma-Ti, both iterations of Fluttershy, Eliza Thornberry, and Princess Sofia, there's potential for things to get weird if they try to talk verbally, but the Animorphs default to thought-speak anyway (apart from that one time they morphed parrots) when talking to people, so that's not going to be an issue.
• With a much wider selection of creatures available in the Pantheon, especially all the Pokémon (Ax recalling Rachel's sisters calling him a "pokey man" once while about to evacuate her family from impending Yeerks), the Animorphs knew they had to go on another "acquiring trip" just like they had in the Gardens Cassie's parents worked in before. That said, moral quandaries have surfaced when it turned out that some of the ascended Pokémon were sapient and most were sentient, so that meant asking for permission (or not if they're malicious and hostile). During this tour, they happened upon Ben Tennyson, who was also about to start a similar trip, as well as, his cousin Gwen, their grandpa Max, and Kevin. And with who they are rendered public knowledge, they also shared similarities and differences between the Escafil Device's morphing power and the Omnitrix. Ben invited them to travel together, since they were doing the same thing as he, though with different parameters. Upon seeing their method of acquiring, Ben then pointed out why don't they all acquire the creature just in case, to which they all admit to never having considered that.
• Due to how often the Monster Hunters go after the fauna from their own world, all of said fauna is usually passed over from acquiring so as not to get entangled with the Hunters, and so that it won't be a waste of time for both parties. And during test runs on particularly insane morphs, Jake always has Tobias ready to kill him if he ever loses control and can't rein it in (even if Ax or Rachel volunteer). It's clear that he's aware that the hawk resents him for Rachel's Suicide Mission and wants to be punished for it. Tobias for his part doesn't say whether he enjoys when he has to do it or not.
• With characters they've recognized in fiction also being Pantheon residents, the Animorphs eventually got to meet them, starting with Batman and Spider-Man. Apart from also hearing that there's a show that tried to objectively answer who would win between them, Rachel also oncd asked Peter how his outfit doesn't bag at the knees or elbows. Of course, it would also be inevitable that there would be an encounter with Xena, whom Marco had often compared Rachel to. And because they met one another in the midst of combat with some other enemy, there was no doubt this Warrior Princess was the real deal, Rachel could not hold in her (non-battle lust) excitement, Marco did not hold back on the teasing, and Jake had to get their attention back to the battle they were all in. Xena for her part, after one sparring session where she insisted on no-holds-barred, could see why Marco has often compared Rachel to her, and the both of them even died at the end of their sagas.
• (favors from Greek Gods: Artemis to Tobias, Hermes and Apollo to Marco, Ares and Aphrodite to Rachel, Persephone and Hestia to Cassie, Gaia and Hades to Ax, and Athena and Poseidon to Jake)
• Having fought them for almost three years, as well as seeing all the horrors of the Yeerk Pool's prisoners, not to mention plans to drain/kill off everything from the Yeerk Empire's conquered planets that isn't of use to them, they're enemies to all forms of slavery, oppression, tyranny, Mind Control, and brainwashing, as well as Planet Looters like the Harvesters, Puppeteer Parasites, and cults like the Sharing was. Jake in particular has the most reason to oppose the second to last, having been infested by a Yeerk once beforenote . As for Iroque, who fell under such methods and turned good for it, they're having a difficult time coping with that fact. Though strangely they seem to have some sort of myopia in regards to the Phantom Thieves of Hearts given they're also essentially doing the same thing. And due to their experiences with fighting Controllers, they tend to skip the whole "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight sequence and get straight to taking brainwashed people down, and never blame the victims. Yeerk possession is more absolute compared to anything supernatural because the Yeerk is physically there in the host's brain, compared to external forces that can be exorcised, disrupted, or distracted.
• Being part of a rebellion has gotten them on good terms with the likes of Lelouch (though it's incredibly uneasy given that he has Mind Control powers) and Jim Raynor, which by extension made them allies with the other good-aligned StarCraft deities, though their opinions on the Zerg are low (and won't acquire any of them lest they get lost in the Hive Mind, and those who are higher up are sapient anyway). This also got them on the bad side of many evil alien conquerors, Arcturus Mengsk (for relating with Raynor et al.), and Wallace Breen (who betrayed his planet to the Combine, and thus no better than voluntary Controllers, even if it was to protect Earth from extinction).
• Speaking of the Combine, they're sort-of thankful(?) that it's the Headcrabs and not the Yeerks that made it as the Divine Race of Control Parasites since while they're certainly more horrific, the Yeerk Empire easily one-ups them with the bonus of being discreet and knowing everything their host knowsnote .
• The war has taught them that no single race can all fall under a single alignment, having seen dissident Yeerks and turncoat Andalites over the course of it all. As such, they don't tolerate anyone who holds such beliefs (unless there's incontrovertible proof that it's true). As war veterans and PTSD victims, Halloween is not appreciated by any of the human (and hawk) Animorphs. Ax on the other hand is a bit more conflicted given he could see it as an excuse to get lots of free candy.
• They get along with others like Natsuru Senou, who have been used as proxies in a war between far-off entities, given the conflict between the Ellimist and Crayak, though those two did have a good reason to use proxies: the last time they went head-to-head themselves, part of the universe ended up destroyed.
They oppose G-Man for his manipulativeness like the Ellimist, and distrust Q for similar reasons. They also depsise cannibals, having met one by the name of Joe Bob Fenestre's host Esplin 9466 Lesser, younger brother of whom they knew as Visser Three, who abducted Controllers and took the Yeerks within for cunsumption as sustenance for his time in hiding when it became clear that his older twin wouldn't tolerate him. Cassie is the most vocal of them regarding this topic. It eventually culminated in at least one or two Animorphs burning his mansion down, with her, Jake, and Rachel as the prime suspects. Hannibal Lecter reminds them of Fenestre.
• (dislike those who would destroy an entire race just to deny them from the enemy, as had happened with the Hork-Bajir, and what almost happened to humanity before the Animorphs finally cornered Visser Three and turned him in. Master Chief and Cortana feel the same after 343 Guilty Spark tried that in order to stop the Flood)
• Some people are confused as to how/why Ax and Tobias are uncle and nephew despite their differences as species. The answer: Elfangor, Ax's older brother, after an incident involving Time Travel and lost faith, morphed into a human, voluntarily suffered Shapeshifter Mode Lock, fell in love with Tobias's future mother Loren, married, and bore Tobias before he was brought back by the Ellimist to the war and returned to normal, leaving his wife behind and her memories of him wiped.
• Because of the lines the Animorphs ultimately crossed to defend Earth from full infestation or complete annihilation, all ascended US Military soldiers have trouble cooperating with the team, and not just because they're too young. The CIA have problems too, particularly with Ax and Marco when they went searching for secure firewalls and breached CIA's on the way while looking for databases holding DNA samples. That said, their dedication to protecting the planet could not be denied.
• Because of what Jake had become as a result of the war he and his fellow Animorphs fought, they all (Jake included) despise those who send troops to their death to achieve a goal, and Mori Motonari is one such example. As such, they gets along well with Robin and the Tactician (whether or not they're one and the same), though the two are wary around the Animorphs leader.
• (Kevin McAlister) Marco would really want to not be against this kid. Cassie dislikes him, even if she has no room to talk given what she had to do.
• (House of Love want Jake and Cassie to reconcile, but they only reach Amicable Exes-esque levels at best. Efforts with Rachel and Tobias are much better, and he's even staying very close to her whenever he can, as if afraid of losing her ever again, yet there are those who think this is a bad idea)
• (getting introduced to the Furry Fandom, who were indeed around back then, but we're well outside interest even post-war)
• Because of their experiences with dangerous technicalities certain pacifists could pull off as demonstrated by Erek of the Chee by the end of the way (as well as hearing of the end of their creators the Pemalites), most of the Animorphs have low opinions on those who meet tragic fates just because they refuse to kill by any means necessary, and are wary of those who can get very technical about that principle, and have approached and evaluated various known pacifists on this matter. Kenshin has shown exemplary skill even after swearing off bloodshed. Most comic book heroes seems to hold back because if they ever jump the slope, no one will be able to stop them, though some have learned when killing is necessary. Frisk knows the limits of their ability to make peace and won't get in the way of the Animorphs. Aang was raised by a pacifist people, and even if he's willing to beat up those threatening him, his friends, or the world, he still can't bring himself to consciously snuff out a life. Wander knows he cannot help in any violent capacity not only because he never believes it's the answer, he's just terrible in going on the offensive. Pacifist!Iji's limit on killing is only on a personal level; she's not above arranging scenarios where the enemy gets themselves killed, won't begrudge in making headway for someone else to do the killing, and used to not count herself reflecting enemy fire as her kill before an intervention from Frisk and Sans taught her the error of that line of thinking. The Doctor has proved his ability time and time again, and he's technically empowered his Companions, who are more likely to do harm.

• Exclusive to Jake:

• Exclusive to Rachel:
• Because she's mostly forgotten all about her civilian life pre-war, it was up to Cassie (as inept as she is at it) to remind her of what she used to be, even if that meant going out shopping
• It's not known for certain if she got salvation in the arms of Crayak before she died by killing her cousin. No, not Jake, but Tom. She's certainly not telling, but she was put under extensive mental examination for a couple of days just in case.
• (getting re-acclimated to her pre-war interests, mostly with help from Cassie and Tobias. missed just shopping for trendy clothes)
• (former gymnast in school, despite being tall, but she doesn't really like performing in front of a crowd)
• Despite her gung-ho attitude towards battle, she's smart enough to substitute as leader whenever Jake is unavailable. It's just that most of her plans involve causing mayhem to the enemy, even if it means sneaking in first. One of these plans also involved sneaking into a military base to steal an experimental jet.
• Avoids all crocodilians since she's apparently "allergic" to it if it's in her morph roster. That mess is something she doesn't want happening again. It's not known what other creatures the others might be "allergic" to, or if there's more than one creature she might have an "allergic reaction" to.
• Is Jake's go-to girl for when a particularly drastic action needs to be done, enough that he can't afford to have any debates
• In an emergency, thanks to having seen Cassie at work, she can set a splint for a bird, though she would still prefer to let the experts do better if they're available.
• Ever since hearing the Ellimist's story during her dying moments,

• Exclusive to Tobias:
• However, this power did come with a few caveats; for one, if one stays in a morph for over two hours, they get stuck in that form forever. And unfortunately, Tobias was a victim of that rule after he had to hide as a red-tailed hawk during their first mission, and wasn't able to find any opportunity to demorph before his time was up. "Fortunately" for him, his guardians weren't the best of parents and were convinced that Tobias was staying with the other. For a time, he truly was stuck, until a literal Deus ex Machina from the Ellimist gave his morphing power back (as a negotiated "reward" for helping free Hork-Bajir escapees to safety, and secluded shelter), only his default form was the red-tailed hawk now (and his human form is an acquired morph like the hawk used to be).
• For some time before the rest of the Animorphs joined, Tobias hasn't been seen in his old temple, because of what happened in the end of his story, particularly Rachel's death; Tobias had withdrawn from society altogether as a result, spending most of his time as a hawk in the House of Nature or the Bestiary. Much therapy from concerned deities, particularly Fluttershy, managed to save him from the brink, and he was eventually convinced to return to his temple. It helped that Ax eventually ascended as well. Further help with his therapy came in the form of Captain Martin Walker, who knows just what war can do to someone, especially for someone who started so young.
• Due to his uncle having been arrested a couple of times and him being passionate about complaining all about them, Tobias has a sixth sense when it comes to identifying police officers.
• Customized game controller made for Tobias as a gift so that he can play games as a hawk.
• Due to his hawk instincts, he respects and fears most birds of prey, but dislikes pigeons, seagulls, crows, and golden eagles most of all. Also due to his time as hawk, Tobias has mostly forgotten how to make facial expressions, and thus has a very good poker face. Hawk expressions might still "bleed through", though. rules lawyer
• Naturally, as a hawk, he's feared by those his species regard as prey, such as rodents, rabbits, and the like.
• Once, he and the rest of the Animorphs went back in time to the Cretaceous Era, where they discovered that there was an alien race that could've destroyed the meteor that would've killed the dinosaurs. In order to preserve their own timeline, Tobias sabotaged it to ensure that the meteor hits. Naturally, many dinosaur deities weren't happy with this. And Tobias is a bit peeved that King Ghidorah approves.
• (Prefers not to be anyone's guide dog)
• (trans allegory, even though his case was more from a crappy home life)

• Exclusive to Cassie:
• (interactions with other animal caretakers)
• (seeing herself as the Gabrielle to Rachel's Xena)
• Cassie is an anomaly when it comes to *certain* alternate timelines. If any changes to it occur, she's made aware of it, even if not as proficiently as other time travelers. And her actions are able to revert changes to these timelines. Of course, as the incident with Visser Four proved, not all timelines can be reverted by Cassie's presence. Theories abound as to the scope of her "power", such as if a timeline is "artificially constructed" or not, or if there's a threshold amount of change that prevents anomalies like her from causing reality crashes.
• (not experienced with tech)
• (Heavy opposition to mad science mutations, especially botched ones. Pity for those who are victims of it)

• Exclusive to Marco:
• Out of all the Animorphs, Marco used to be the most reluctant in joining the fight, mainly because of his father Peter, who was depressed ever since his mother vanished; he could not afford to die and leave him behind. But that changed upon discovering that his mother Eva was alive after all... as the host body of Visser One, instigator of the Yeerk invasion and political rival to Visser Three.
• (archnemesis parent, though Marco's case was a mind-controlled one)
• (those who are ruthless enough to be willing to kill their loved ones if it means destroying an enemy, just as he was with his mother, who had been host to Visser One. The ohnly reason he managed to save her anyway was )
• Marco's always been a bad driver, not just because he's too young, but trait has also been passed down from his mother Eva.
• (wants to restart his showbiz career, even be a stuntman. Doesn't want pressure of carrying an entire show, though, and would settle for main supporting player)
• (thinks "Morph therapy" -becoming some other animal to let one put the little things in perspective-)
• In one cancelled timeline, Marco may have stolen George Washington's extra pair of boots during the crossing of the Delaware.
• Once had tiny aliens infiltrate his body, leading to the rest having to do a case of "Fantastic Voyage" Plot with a shrink ray to pursue them.

• Exclusive to Ax:
• (super good with tech, though he still comments that the internet is a bit slow, though not as slow as it was in the 1990s where Marco's "high end" internet speed was around 56 Kbps)
• (Discussing Prime Directive with Kirk and Picard as he describes Seerow's Kindness)
• Sometimes, when reminding other deities of how much time is remaining for any given task, he will always say "We have (insert number here) of your minutes left", even though the entire Pantheon shares the same time measurements, prompting a response along those lines. Given Marco has often pointed this out every time, it's speculated that Ax is doing this on purpose.
• Once caused an incident in the House of Food after going nuts (again) with his human form's sense of taste, trying out all kinds of stuff (including the inedible ones, and plenty of Tabasco sauce), finally ending when he got himself a spoonful of Mystery Food X. Despite everything, some gods found the whole thing funny, particularly Amethyst, who came by later, and extended the hand of friendship. Since then, Ax often settles for "grazing" in grassy areas like the House of Nature, absorbing nutrients, water, and sometimes other tiny animals like worms and snails, through his hooves, though he still visits the House of Food every so often.
• Avoids the House of Musicality since he thinks all music is awful. It's not a matter of Andalites in general being unfamiliar with it, but Ax's own preference, given his brother Elfangor actually likes rock music.
• While his race isn't entirely composed of proud warriors (just the military), he managed to get on good terms with Worf and Urdnot Wrex, which in turn brought him to Commander Shepard's attention. Ax harbors discomfort around the Renegade side (as his former "Prince" got close to this side and pretty much went off the deep end), and approves greatly of the Paragon side. He also ended up in a fierce duel with Undyne, who greeted him with a challenge as per usual of her, and gave her a very good fight with tail-blade and spear (which she gives him upon turning his SOUL green).
• One day, Ax found himself infected with yamphut once again, and had to be taken to the emergency room. Cassie came with, since she had information on how it was treated, having been the impromptu surgeon for that task. After the operation was done by Derek Stiles, Ax commented that at least he didn't end up infested by a Yeerk like last time, confusing the surgeon before Cassie explained. He still holds the infestation against her.
• Unlike most quadrupeds, Ax is able to jump backwards almost as far as he can forwards. His stalk eyes can see further into the ultraviolet and infrared spectra than human eyes. His tail blade isn't metallic, so slicing electric wires won't do more than induce a slight flutter through his body as long as he's grounded by his hooves. The only blind spot for an Andalite is between the eye stalks, though getting there is another matter in an of itself.
• Ax sometimes spends his spare time repairing and refurbishing laptops, then selling them to computer stores for money.
• (Twice forced to put the enemy to ransom and torture once. He would rather not do the latter ever again, and for once did not call Jake "Prince" as he always did)
• (former prejudice against vecol, has grown out of this by the time he becomes a Prince, meet Katawa Shoujo girls)
• Some guy once rubbed their old "movie card" against Ax's fur to "demagnetize it and encrypt it match any human security code". The Andalite was thoroughly confused by this act, and so was Marco since he was nearby during this exchange. That guy then told Marco that he did the same thing before, to which the Animorph argues he didn't, and would've milked that feature for all it's worth if he nad.

[up][up][up][up]Okay, I just want to say thank you for being patient and understanding with me. I once again do apologize for my reckless, earlier behavior earlier and hope we can move past that. That being said, I have some counterarguments, a few more questions, and some clarifications for any of my posts:

& Thank you both for answering, but as I said before, I do have a few more I would like to ask:

1. I do fully agree, that as long as a Villain (or any character for that matter) embodies or presents a certain evil trope perfectly that it ultimately doesn't matter weather they do a Heel-Face Turn or not, as long as they still exemplify that trope even when turning to the other side. However, how do we deal with "Depending On The Writer"? I mean if a certain villain has been Zig-zagged with a certain trope, what should we do then? This potential problem could definitely cause a WHOLE lot of problems.

2. I fully understand the alignment chart. I don't have any problem with it, nor do I expect a fully written essay for certain characters with a particular made-up alignments, HOWEVER, As I said before, when using or calling certain characters things like "Lawful Evil Personified" (Key word being PERSONIFIED) I believe we should at least sell the idea of that or what makes that character/"Deity" EMBODY that concept, and explain in full detail. I mean what makes them truly personify that alignment in a way that other characters don't or can't?

I also believe that maybe for certain characters the alignment simply just....Does not work, even when used for fun. Such as the eldritch abominations, animals, non-sentient robots, etc. There is another alignment I feel hasn't been used or acknowledged yet, that being:

"Unaligned" (meaning, The alignment of a creature, person, or "thing", that does not have the sentience/intelligence to make moral choices)

We might even be in need of an entirely new alignment in the far future. I don't know....

3. This is an entirely new question that may be a bit uncomfortable, (I was very hesitant to ask this, and debated if I should even add it on this post) but...Are any real life controversial figures (Donald Trump, Adolf Hitler, Gengis Khan, etc.) or any...…Um...…Infamous.....Serial Killers even allowed to be here....? I mean, if it's no I completely understand, and didn't even think of so much as putting one.

Actually....That's kind of a lie, I did, but only ONE:

Vlad The Impaler God Of I'm A Humanitarian

BTW, just to be clear I am very good with editing and grammar, however, I cannot link anything to save my life. I am trying my best to make another proposal, however, I just simply cannot Blue-Link anything....I don't know if it's me or just my computer, but I'm having a lot of trouble. So if I do make another one, but it appears to be a bit poorly linked I do gravely apologize. That's all I wanted to say for know. I am working on another character profile, and trying my hardest, if I get it wrong another time, I'll try to go back and edit it as much as I could. Thank you. [tup]

We make rather liberal use of Blue-and-Orange Morality for those whose alignments don't fit neatly onto the axis.

It is I, the narrator, categorising addict and writer of books you haven't read.

... What does Vlad the Impaler have to do with cannibalism? Genghis Khan is already is also in the Pantheon, and so is Vlad last time I checked. A lot of it comes to age and media presence.

Is linking really impossible to you? Like does CamelCase stuff not work with your system?

Also the first question just sounds oddly vague without a point in comparison.

It seems my question has been missed. Gonna repost it.

The main problem I'm dealing with is the Theme Song. The game has no original OST, but the thing it's a part of, does have some very fitting of it. Roblox has numerous battle themes which could fit the Bloody Battlers, but it's not made by the dev of Bloody Battle himself along with the fact that the themes are general purpose themes, which can be used by all Roblox games containing battle.

So in a nutshell: Source work of profile I want to make has no original OST but source source work does have original OST meant for the kind of work the source work is but not specifically for the source work. Can they still be used as theme songs?

Note: The Bloody Battlers don't represent the players, they represent everything about the game + the trope I'm trying to nominate them for which is Family-Unfriendly Violence.

[up] There's no hard rules for themes other than choose the one made for the game itself or third party track heavily associated with the game. It would be kinda weird imo to put a random theme not meant for that particular game just because you wanted a theme for it. Might as well remove the theme song section at that point. There are many character profiles without a dedicated theme so don't worry about.

As for The Bloody Battlers for Family-Unfriendly Violence, I'll wait what others have to say about it.

@ShayanthanYuhanthan345
1. Again it is a case by case basis. Even if the character changes depending on the writer, there are some consistent elements and attitudes that make that character who they are and it would be better to focus on those aspects when choosing a trope. It is more likely the title would be given to someone who consistently doing that trope than someone who zigzags it. Best to ask here if you are unsure.
2. Personally I don't see the point in using "Lawful Evil Personified" as I see it as "This character is really really Lawful Evil I swear guys" and just makes unnecessary hype when some of the Tropers are aware of what Lawful Evil is. You are free to use that alignment status and we'll see if this character is truly "Lawful Evil Personified" once you share your profile draft. Also, you can just place those characters in "True Neutral" if they don't fit any of the good, evil, lawful or chaotic aligments.
3. There's a quite a few controvercial IRL people here but their placement here depends if they are worth it for a profile or not. Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler are a bit iffy to add even tho they have a wide impact in pop culture. Jack the Ripper is an IRL serial killer but is allowed because of the many fictional works that feature a fictional version of him. But I don't really feel comfortable adding a modern serial killer or mass murderer in here, especially if it could cause unnecessary Flame Bait. Again, make sure to ask here if they are worth being added or not.

@nightelf37 Beast Boy should be an ally to all of them. I don't have ideas for the individual allies yet.

Hamana, why did you delete Chisato Nishikigi from Kamen Rider Gaim's profile without discussing it with anyone beforehand? If her profile on the main character page is to be believed, she is an Ideal Hero.

Done with Q*bert's rework.

Q*bert, God of Symbol Swearing (@!#?@!)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/qbertwreckitralph.png
• Demigod
• Symbol: (@!#?@!)>
• Alignment: True Neutral
• Portfolio: Speaking Simlish, Punny Name, 80's Video Game Character
• Domains: Platforming, Language
• Allies: Wreck-it Ralph, Fix-it Felix, Vanellope von Schweetz, Pac-Man, Mario, Donald Duck
• Enemies: King Candy
• Fears: Rattlesnake Jake, Infinite, Pinhead
• On good terms with: The Second Coming
• On an isometric pyramid, Q*bert is tasked with changing all its tiles to that of a specific color by hopping on them. Such a task is more difficult than it sounds as Q*bert is pursued by a variety of enemies such as the serpentine Coily (and apparent arch-enemy), porcine Ugg, gremlin Wrong-Way, and the creature duo of Slick and Sam. As for what kind of language Q*bert and his enemies are speaking, it can be difficult to decipher what it is, but whenever Q*bert swears after making a mistake on the playing field, symbols appear above him. Similar to other arcade characters, Q*bert has a mission that looks simple on the surface, but becomes more difficult the further he gets through these pyramids.
• An unusual pyramid showed up one day, prompting many to try it and see if they could win a prize, but it proved difficult for those who were up to the task. A strange-looking creature, identified as Q*bert, stepped up to the challenge, with many noting that the pyramid was a much larger version of what he has normally done before. Completing this task of turning all of the pyramid’s tiles into a singular color was daunting, but in the end, Q*bert was able to accomplish this task. The prize turned out to be different options ranging from money to a ticket that would allow anyone to visit the Pantheon at any time, but Q*bert wasn’t interested in any of these prizes, only taking the challenge as it was something he was familiar with. While Q*bert didn’t gain anything from this contest, he was still welcome to be part of the Pantheon and try out additional challenges involving isometric pyramids any time he’s interested.
• Q*bert is familiar with Wreck-It Ralph and his friends thanks to the former having his game unplugged from Litwak’s Arcade, resulting in Q*bert and his enemies (who happen to be Q*bert’s coworkers and are close to each other since that unplugging) being homeless. Q*bert and his homeless companions were given a cherry by Ralph from a Pac-Man arcade cabinet and Q*bert later told Fix-It Felix that Ralph was game-jumping. Once everything related to the game-jumping had been resolved, Q*bert and the others were given a role as part of a bonus stage in Fix-It Felix Jr. and live in their own dedicated apartments there. While some areas in the Pantheon do have a Q*bert arcade cabinet (with one such area being the Ghostbusters’ headquarters), Q*bert maintains good relations with both Ralph and Felix and the bonus stage in Fix-It Felix Jr. is well-liked among arcade patrons. King Candy, whose real identity is that of Turbo, is irritated that his attempts at game-jumping ended in failure while Q*bert gets to be part of Fix-It Felix Jr. despite not originating from that game, and after hearing everything about King Candy from Ralph and his friends, Q*bert has nothing nice to say about someone who is willing to forcefully hijack games to become a major character themselves.
• As someone who originated from an arcade game, Q*bert is familiar with and maintains good relations with other arcade characters such as Pac-Man and Mario, who sometimes take part in the isometric pyramid challenges in their spare time. Having had his game unplugged due to dwindling popularity before finding a home in Fix-It Felix Jr. was the subject of sympathy among other arcade characters, though Q*bert and the others don’t have to worry about permanently dying in the Pantheon for the most part unlike what can happen in Litwak’s Arcade. As far as relatively forgotten game characters are concerned, Bubsy learned about how Q*bert was able to thrive despite being under the gaming radar for a while and Bubsy believed that if he had an arcade game, it could be a step forward in becoming more well-known in a better way. Q*bert (with Felix translating as Bubsy didn’t understand Q-bertese) had to tell Bubsy that being in an arcade meant that if you don’t have an arcade cabinet, chances are he’s not going to find a new place for a while if someone really is unpopular or is trying to hijack a game against others’ will, especially since Bubsy has a fairly loud and not-entirely-smart personality as is.
• There have been discussions about potentially putting separate video game mooks as enemies on the isometric pyramids in a manner similar to how Q*bert’s enemies serve as mooks for the bonus stages in Fix-It Felix Jr. Given how Ralph is already friends with Bowser as part of their meetings in Bad-Anon, various members of the Koopa Troop such as Goombas and Koopa Troopas have been tossed around as potential enemies for Q*bert to navigate and their various distinct traits such as the Koopa shells have been seen as something to add to the challenge. Given Q*bert’s limited capabilities, many stronger mooks from different factions were out of the running as additional enemies to add to the isometric pyramids. Not only were different mooks considered, but there were certain items present that could give Q*bert more to use to get rid of enemies on the pyramid besides jumping and more complex layouts for the pyramids have been discussed by some looking to enhance Q*bert’s challenges.
• Snakes have proven to be a problem for Q*bert thanks to Coily being relentless in his pursuit of the creature across various maps, even going as far as to kidnap Q*bert’s friends at one point. There were plenty of snakes with far more dangerous abilities than what Coily can do and the idea of having to confront them on an isometric pyramid where multiple enemies are roaming around was something that worried Q*bert. Rattlesnake Jake was one snake that frightened Q*bert as not only was Jake much larger than Coily, but having a gun for a tail meant that Jake could simply shoot Q*bert from a good distance as opposed to simply having to pursue him in order to damage Q*bert. Being a killer-for-hire looking for a good challenge, Jake didn’t see Q*bert as worth his time, but it didn’t stop Q*bert from worrying about other enemies that have as much range as Jake impeding his progress.
• Q*bert is primarily known for jumping around cubes and changing their colors, which led to others wondering for their own amusement (harmless or otherwise) about putting other specialized cubes onto the stages Q*bert traverses. One rather twisted idea involved modeling a stage after The Lament Configuration and completing it would summon Pinhead, a dangerous entity and someone Q*bert would rather stay far away from as much as possible. As Infinite’s power involves summoning black and orange cubes and if anyone touches them near Infinite, they get sent to Null Space, Q*bert is understandably terrified about what could happen if he’s trapped in a place that’s difficult to escape at the hands of an egotistical mass-murderer. There are a number of other unorthodox cubes out there, with some granting whoever comes across them special abilities of some kind, but given the number of deadly cubes out there, Q*bert is apprehensive about encountering such strange objects while trying to complete a challenge.
• While Q*bert does have some idea of the English language, Q-bertese is his preferred method of speaking when something happens. Given that such a language appears as symbols in a speech bubble, some have taken it as if Q*bert is a highly profane denizen of the Pantheon, though those with a good knowledge of Q-bertese will know there’s more to the language than just swearing. Donald Duck has a history of lashing out and having his speech bubbles come out as symbols, which also led others to believe that Donald is swearing during such instances. Donald regularly speaks barely coherent English in contrast to Q*bert’s far less frequent instances, though Donald will have to work on his Q-bertese if he is to have a good shot at fully understanding Q*bert, but otherwise can understand Q*bert’s grievances when the creature is in a bad mood and those speech bubbles appear.
• One of the weirder moments in Q*bert’s career involved being a student at high school while putting up with a greaser delinquent version of Coily. Q*bert was even capable of speaking coherent sentences and can fire an oil slick from his nose known as a slippy-doo. Q*bert hasn’t really dwelled much on high school or the English language since then, but as far as video game characters going to high school are concerned, he learned that Susumu Hori had gone to high school at one point alongside a handful of Namco characters, with Susumu’s father, Taizo (aka Dig Dug) as principal of the high school Susumu and the others went to. Q*bert’s time at high school was normal, if not without some quirks, compared to Susumu having some strange events both in relation to himself and the other students, but Q*bert is still keeping his slippy-doos in mind whenever he is in a tight spot and not on a pyramid.
• An alien invasion involving aliens using classic arcade games took place and Q*bert ended up being one of the “trophies” that the aliens had and gave to the humans that took part in said conflict. After the aliens were defeated, the alien that took the form of Q*bert decided to stay and took on the likeness of an attractive female game character, married someone, and had children that can be described as Q*bert-like hybrids. It was abundantly clear that Q*bert wanted no affiliation towards alien conquerors, especially those that want to use his likeness as part of their plans to take over a particular setting. As for transforming into a female game character, as far as anyone is aware of, Q*bert has practically no methods to transform into any other form and the general idea of Q*bert turning into a beautiful human lady and birthing Q*bert-like hybrid children was seen as implausible, not that it stop the more perverted denizens of the Pantheon from thinking about it.
• The Second Coming and his friends ended up encountering Q*bert at one point during their adventures, but things ended up being strange thanks to Q*bert uncharacteristically causing chaos within other arcade games. As it turned out, Q*bert wanted to feed his family and once everything was resolved, the stick figures gave Q*bert and his family food (fruit from the Pac-Man game) and a “Q*bert mode” was added to the games on the stick figures’ PC to mix things up. Within the Pantheon, The Second Coming and his stick figure friends have a similar kind of peace towards Q*bert and the creature has shown no hostility towards them. Considering that Q*bert’s enemies are part of the bonus stages in Fix-It Felix Jr. and the discussions among other deities on what can be added to Q*bert’s stages to make things more interesting, the stick figures are interested in trying out these additional challenges alongside the “Q*bert mode” present in their arcade games on PC.

Do you think there's more I need for the Venus draft, or would you say it's good to go?

Venus

Venus, Divine Seat of Supposedly Lush Planets (Morning Star, Evening Star, Sol II, Lucifer, Helel, "Earth's Evil Twin")

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/venus_from_mariner_10.jpg
According to DC
• Hall: Astronomical Bodies
• Description: A planet slightly smaller than earth, covered in very dense clouds
• Symbol: A pink female symbol
• Theme Song: Venus, The Bringer of Peace by Gustav Holst
• Alignment: True Neutral
• Portfolio: Science Marches On, Former Science Fiction Magnet, Supposedly Lush and Habitable for Humans, Actually The Closest Thing To Hell We Know Of, Hottest Planet In the Solar System, Brightest Object in the Night Sky
• Domains: Clouds, Sulphiric Acid, Carbon Dioxide, Volcanoes, Science Fiction, Astronomy, Light, the Morning, the Evening
• Sacred To:
• Avoided by: Namor the Sub-Mariner, Spike Spiegel, Faye Valentine, Jet Black
• Source of Interest To: Marvin the Martian, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Vex, The Corpus
• Banned Entry: Gidorah
• The planet Venus is located around 107 million kilometers from the Sun. Since it's one of the brightest objects in Earth's night sky, Venus has been known to ancient civilizations for millenia. It's known as the Morning Star as well as the Evening Star due to being visible during those two times of day. In the modern period humanity learned that Venus was a planet almost the same size as Earth and having an atmosphere as thick (if not thicker) - as a result it was known as "Earth's twin". For a very long time sci-fi writers would speculate about what life on the planet would be like - usually that it was lush, green, and like a great big jungle. Some other authors went u p to eleven, and thought Venus was covered entirely with water (as Isaac Asimov did). For a very long time sci-fi stories focused on adventures on the supposedly lush Venus. But the more man learned about the planet, the more it was realized Venus was completely inhospitable, so it's more like Earth's Evil Twin than anything else.
• The planet is named after the Roman goddess of love, known to the Greeks as Aphrodite. But the ancient Babylonians were the first to record the planet's existance and they named it after their love-war goddess Innana/Ishtar. As both goddesses are in the Pantheon both of them value the place as sacred to both of them (though they often compete for who's in charge). Due to it's link to these goddesses many sci-fi writers imagined the aliens of Venus to be a Matriarchy or Lady Land. It wasn't, but that doesn't stop Aphrodite and Inanna/Ishtar from droping by to make it a bit more habitable. The rivalry between the two goddesses manifests here, too, as they compete over who gets which parts of the place.
• A somewhat lesser-known name for Venus is the Morning Star (or Evening Star), known in Latin as Lucifer. Yes, you read that right, Lucifer. The reason the name 'Lucifer' is associated with the Devil is a passage in Isaiah 14 in The Bible, where the prophet compares the fall of a king from grace to how Venus appears to 'fall' in the night sky. While the fallen king is identified as the king of Babylon, readers throughout the ages have (at least through typology) identified him as Satan. As a result the planet holds a special place in the hearts of the fallen angels Lucifer (SMT), Lucifer (Supernatural), Satan (Paradise Lost), Satan (Castlevania), Dis, Samael, and Lucemon for being their namesake.
• Yet another heavenly being linked with the planet is Quetzalcoatl, the Feathered Serpent of the ancient Aztecs. In fact, the ancient Aztecs believed Quetzalcoatl was the Morning Star. While he's not interchangeable with the planet, he still likes visiting it anyways. At times he adopts a female form (either Rider or Lucoa) to fit in with the goddesses of the planet. What's more? There might be a fourth: it was maybe believed by the Egyptians that Horus' two eyes were the Morning and Evening Stars (although this one is slightly less clear as his eye is more associated with the Moon in later texts).
• The different factions above described - roughly sorted into "The Goddesses" (Aphrodite, Inanna/Ishtar, and Quetzalcoatl) and "The Devils" (Lucifers 1 & 2, Satans 1 & 2, Dis, and Samael) - all find themselves fighting with each other over who has a right to the planet. Some of the "Goddesses" want to see the planet terraformed into the tropical paradise people have dreamed of, and some of the "Devils" are fine with the planet saying a hellscape, but it's more so a conflict over rulership than anything else (given how both the "Goddesses" and "Devils" sometimes clash with those in the same group). We should also note that none of them live there permanently; they just have getaways there.
• There's a bit of confusion about what the adjective for something of or from Venus is. Most people stick with "Venusian", which gets the point across but is weird grammar-wise. It used to be "Venerian" for a while, which works grammar-wise but sounds a bit too much like "venerial". The science community likes the term "Cytherean", named after the island of Cythera that the goddess Venus (Aphrodite) was reported to be born on - but that sounds nothing like 'Venus' so it's uncommon. Of course, names like "Aphrodisial" and "Luciferian" are only going to cause more confusion, and we hopefully don't need to explain why "Venerial" doesn't work.
• Believe it or not, Venus might have actually once been wet in the past. According to a 2016 paper from Cornell University, Venus might have had a habitable climate at least 715 million years ago. So if any deity has a time machine (which many indeed do), they could just go reeeeeaaally far back in time and they might see a tropical planet there.
• There are plenty more people who covet the planet. Both The Vex and The Corpus have invaded Venus at times, and have tried to do so again - round two was less successful than the original tries since multiple people had the same idea at once so the invasions were tripping over each other. Unsurprisingly, Gidorah is not allowed near the place by anyone, since he destroyed the early civilization living there and turned it to be the uninhabitable wasteland it is now. The "Goddesses" and even the "Devils" have all done work to defend their sacred planet Venus from them.
• It's commonly said women are from here, and men are from Mars. This is because the symbols of male and female gender are also the Greek symbols for Mars and Venus. Plus, there's the fact that it's the only planet in the solar system named after a lady (unless you count Earth being called Gaia/Terra).
• Marvin the Martian is enamored with the planet - so enamored in fact, that he wants to destroy Earth just because it's blocking his view of Venus. Why he likes it so much is unknown; maybe Venus is a bright 'Morning Star' on the Red Planet too, or maybe he still thinks it's a green paradise under the clouds (he's from the 1940s after all), or maybe he wants to get a look at the hot godessess who drop by there. Whatever the reason, he's partial to the planet even though he's been there but just looks at it through his telescope.
• Pharaoh Rameses II actually claims equality with the planet - namely via his role as Horus incarnate. The news of the planet's ascension naturally peaked his interest, as Rameses used it as an oppertunity to brag about his power. The symbol of his royal divinity has ascended, proving his relevance to all the world! (or so he says). Of course, that other people in the Pantheon also use the Morning Star has not stopped him.
"I am the morning and the evening star! I am Pharaoh!
• Diana / Wonder Woman has good relationships with the planet and it's inhabitants. Queen Desira, a local ruler on the planet, is one of Diana's friends. She's helped defend the planet multiple times, and Desira has helped her defend Earth too. Because of this she sometimes visits the place to meet the Goddesses while visiting there.
• Wonder Woman isn't the only member of the Justice League who has visited the planet. Superman for instance once visited the place and encountered plant-based life forms. Hal Jordan of the Green Lanterns too has a good reputation among the citiens of the planet. As told in "Summons From Space!" (Showcase Vol. 1 #23), Hal once defended the planet's primitive people from an attack of dinosaurs. Naturally, the people are thankful for his deeds.
• Namor the Sub-Mariner has a worse relationship with the planet Venus. Sure, you can say that for plenty of places, but this time it's actually not his fault. At one point in the past, planet Earth was invaded by a race of amphibious Venusian creatures. Namor to his credit defended Earth from the alien invaders, and thus is rather suspicious of anything that comes from Venus. Though the people Diana and Hal defended weren't the same people who invaded Earth, Namor still doesn't trust anything from that place, and so stays away from it.
• Spike Spiegel, Faye Valentine, and Jet Black know a version of the planet very different from the idealised one typically seen in older sci-fi. To start, their Venus is a desolate wasteland that humans were able to colonize in spite of it's climate. There's also a little something called the "Venus Sickness"; a disease native to the place that makes people blind. Rocco's sister Stella got infected with the disease, so Rocco and Spike had to find a cure. Neither of them really like the place, understandably.

Hamana also removed a few High Priests and Followers from some profiles in Hardware and Software without an edit reason. In my opinion, it is better to consult the forum first if you want to remove those sections and see if it's okay or not, but you should always give an edit reason when deleting something to prevent confusion and to explain why it was deleted (listed characters are too hype filled, the listed characters don't fit the trope well, there's too many of them, etc).

How about Entitlement for Syndrome? The reason he became a Glory Hound in the first place is because he wanted to take attention away from Mr. Incredible. Because he was an entitled fanboy who wanted to be Mr. Incredible's sidekick just because he is his "biggest fan". And he wanted revenge by taking the glory from the supes when he is ignored. Sure, he is selfish but it's less about his needs about more about wanting to prove himself to be better than others.

For Onaga, how about Boss-Arena Idiocy? It's not worked on by anyone and you can check his entry on the trope page and his character page for the explanation.

Syndrome should go under Entitlement. I mean, Glory Hound is basically about wanting, well, glory and fame and being obsessive about it after all.
