Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

- Alignment: Lawful Evil personified
- Portfolio: The Antithesis of Free Will which Induces the Notion that Life is Meaningless, Inherently Harmful and Detrimental to the Very Concept of Sentience, When Used Incorrectly can Turn into a Zombie Plague, Mind Control, Artifact of Doom, Grants a Special Form of Enlightenment Superpower, Bends the Wills of those Affected to That of the Controller
- Domains: Anti-Life, Tyranny, Non-Sentience, Subversion of Will, Emptiness, Negative Emotion
- Current owner: Uxas/Darkseid
- Former wielders: The Anti-Monitor, Orion
- Source of interest to: The Harbingers Of Repression, the Grand United Alliance of Law
- There is a mathematical formula feared above all others. A concept that was long since deduced by the Lord of Apokolips and is his ultimate goal to obtain, allowing him to finally eliminate The Evils of Free Will. Martian scholars posed the idea that there is an equation of sorts that proves life has meaning..so Darkseid wondered if there was an antithesis. The Anti-Life Equation implants the mathematical uncertainty that life is meaningless and the concepts of freedom and hope are futile into its victims, dooming them to despair and thus bending them to the will of the User. In return for corrupting the user into committing terrible atrocities (the very act of possessing or using the Equation is inherently evil), the Equation grants the User reality-warping abilities that distort freedom over life and death. And if Darkseid has its way with it, ALL WILL BE ONE IN DARKSEID.
- As of the Final Crisis, Darkseid has the Anti-Life Equation. Well, his true, core self has it. Fortunately this knowledge hasn't transferred to all his emanations and avatars yet. His son Orion once had it, but gave it up out of dread and disgust. One version of Darkseid was imprisoned on the Source Wall for witnessing it. Another corrupted the formula with the Black Racer, creating the Anti-Living zombie Mind Virus. Another emanation of Darkseid learned what everyone else in that setting knew (they're comic book characters) and concluded the Anti-Life Equation is the fact characters are completely susceptible to reboots, retcons and Executive Meddling. After learning he was just a toy in a Youtube series, Darkseid doesn't want to talk about this theory anymore.
- The Equation has no single shape or form. It most often appears as a mass of alien glyphs and symbols, but as an equation, it can also be written down on a piece of paper, transmitted as computer code, and even be carved into the surface of Planet Earth. As a result, the Equation possess incredible virality and if used, can infect an entire planet within hours through every means of communication imaginable. To the primitive eye, the formula appears deceptively simple, which adds to its danger. Simply saying the string of words making up the Equation out loud will activate it and immediately affect every sentient being in close proximity, distorting the surrounding environment in seconds. As for the Equation itself...
- Origin-wise, it is believed to come from the Antimatter Universe and cursed Mobius into becoming the Anti-Monitor...at least, that's the most well-known origin. Another theory is that it is utilized by Fifth Dimensional Imps as how they actually warp reality. More specifically it was theorized by Darkseid when the Joker stole Mr Mxyzptlk's powers. Supposedly the imp gave Darkseid a copy: Mister Mxyzptlk + Bat-Mite = Anti-life. The only one who has seen it for sure is Darkseid and it provoked an uncontrollable laughing fit from the New God.
- WARNING: DO NOT READ: loneliness + alienation + fear + despair + self-worth ÷ mockery ÷ condemnation ÷ misunderstanding x guilt x shame x failure x judgment n=y where y=hope and n=folly, love=lies, life=death, self=dark side. Simply saying this string of words will activate the Equation, regardless of whether you even know of the Equation or what it does, or have the intention to use it.
- The SCP Foundation takes preventing anyone and anything from ever learning the Anti-Life Equation very seriously as they consider it a major infohazard. They've dealt with hundreds of SCPs which work on a similar principle and they believe the Anti-Life Equation is closest in nature to SCP-3125. For those wondering, "The Escapee" is an Eldritch Abomination who if perceived enough will replace someone's mind with only wanting to be dedicated to and spread the anomaly's influence and concept. One can only hope that Darkseid never gains access to other info/cognito/memetic hazards the SCP Foundation has secured, lest he try to enhance the Equation.
- I may be a toaster under Foundation captivity, but I'm glad they're looking to stop Darkseid. I don't trust my anomalous effect will even delay the Anti-Life Equation if it was used on me.
- Among the pantheon's high brass Cosmos and Lucifer have called the Anti-Life Equation absolutely immoral, finding for once they agree one something strongly; the inherent value of freedom and personal autonomy. Gaea regards it as abhorrent, and Khorne detests the Equation as it would rob someone of all true emotion and thus starve him, and the rest of the Chaos Gods. On the opposite end Melkor, YHVH and Zamasu want it to be theirs over Darkseid. Melkor himself wants mortals to retain free will as he feels that way they will suffer more, but finds the Equation undeniably useful for his evil. YHVH want the Equation the most and is intensely jealous of Darkseid for finding it. Zamasu meanwhile believes the only way mortals can be worthy of life is by using the Anti-Life Equation to be an extension of his own will.
- Interestingly Nekron, despite being one of the worst of the main Pantheon leaders, doesn't seem to want the Anti-Life Equation. This could just be seeing any life, even robbed of its volition, as a blight, but some speculate he might have a connection to the formula; his inherent nature as an Enemy to All Living Things arguably makes him a better example of anti-life than even Darkseid.
- The Equation can be spread through all forms of electronic media. It's for this reason that Darkseid has decided to try and influence the Grand United Alliance of Machines. Though many of them boast that not being organic makes them immune, there's no evidence for this. Due to its Control Freak tendencies, SKYNET wants to incorporate the Anti-Life Equation under its control as this would prevent anyone from threatening its existence. Surprising the Lord of Apokolips, SKYNET and some other members of the GUAM thought of the idea of spreading Anti-Life through music; given his hatred of music, Darkseid half-suspects they're mocking him with their unorthodox strategy.
- Many within Darkseid's own Harbingers Of Repression seek the Anti-Life Equation. The Lord of Apokolips is well-aware that Sauron is eying up the Equation as an extreme version of his whole rings of power plan, for instance. Different members of the group have their different ideas for how they would utilize the Equation should they take it from the Treasury or somehow outwit Darkseid. The god of tyranny keeps an eye on all of them as he's more than experienced dealing with Starscreams, but he is still amused by their talking.
- The Anti-Spiral believes that the Anti-Life Equation is the antithesis to Spiral Power. While Darkseid knows the grim consequences of the Anti-Life Equation and doesn't care, the Anti-Spiral seems to genuinely believe it's better than a universe that could potentially destroy itself. Moebius plans to put it into his whole hypnotism, while Alduin hopes to learn the Equation in the Dragon Language
- Shao Khan is tempted by the Anti-Life Equation, but deep down part of him wonders if ruling an existence with only his will would be what he truly wants. He has had visions of worlds where he won, only to grow mad from boredom with nothing left to conquer. Of course being a self-absorbed Myopic Conqueror, it's exceedingly rare for him to think about this for more than five minutes. Other deities like Cooler are more open about how while they find the Anti-Life Equation useful, wouldn't rely on it to rule as they'd find it boring. Admittedly this might just be to keep Darkseid from being too concerned over them.
- Big Brother is more willing to keep to himselfnote as he is satisfied with only dominating Oceania without end. His own use of Thought Crime and other tactics of oppression and breaking people's spirits initially made Darkseid wonder if INGSOC had found a piece of the Anti-Life Equation and was unconsciously using it; the fact they didn't need anything supernatural to come close to emulating the Equation is why the New God respects their institution.
- Outside of Darkseid's organization, the Anti-Life Equation is considered important to those living in the Hall of Mind Control. Yuri absolutely wants to take the Anti-Life Equation for himself and transmit it in his mind control devices; Darkseid doesn't remotely see him as a threat, but does think he could be useful for developing the next generation of Justifiers. For Yuri this is probably for the best as he has tried to find people with parts of the Anti-Life Equation in them and experiment on them. One deity that almost found itself dissected in his research was the Hypnotoad, only to conclude to not be connected to the Equation as if its hypnosis can't get past Fry's mind, there's no way it can be connected to something as potent as the Equation.
- It shouldn't be understated that the Anti-Life Equation cannot be used for good due to how inherently repressive it is. Though Darkseid regards Nerose Satanel as a walking, talking Anti-Life Equation he finds that statement offensive; despite burning out free will, it resulted in a utopian society; a society built on the Anti-Life Equation could in no way be seen as utopian. Darkseid admits this, but he also pointed out just like himself his actions mean he disregards the actual desires of people over how he thinks the universe SHOULD be run.
- Given the inherently evil nature of the Anti-Life Equation, it's safe to say anyone who wants to get it for themselves either doesn't understand how bad it is, or does and are just as terrible as Darkseid. Jyggalag fits the former since as a truly inflexible God of Order, the idea the Anti-Life Equation is evil is incomprehensible to him. The other Daedric Princes (besides Molag Bal of course) regard the Anti-Life Equation as horrifying and/or antithetical and hope that Jyggalag never gets even the smallest piece of the Anti-Life Equation.
- There are a bunch of deities in the House of Leadership like Horde Prime and IT, who'd have no moral standards against using the Anti-Life Equation should they ever gain it. The only time multiple people had the complete Anti-Life Equation may have been the Anti-Monitor and Darkseid fighting, the former using it in an offensive form, so naturally the Lord of the Apokolips keeps a close watch on them. After talking with SKYNET Sigma wants to modify the Anti-Life Equation into his viral essence, in effect embodying the Anti-Life Equation. Darkseid considers such an idea laughable as he believes all his attempted assimilation with the Equation would do is cause a horrible Fate Worse than Death for his computer code.
- The only way to counteract the Equation are the concepts of freedom and hope, which in the Pantheon, can come in a variety of forms. It's for this reason that Darkseid wants to destroy the optimism half of the Hall of Optimism and Pessimism...well wants to destroy it moreso. Figures like Auriel find the Anti-Life Equation as completely antithetical to everything they believe. Due to its intrinsically repressive nature, the Anti-Life Equation is something the Chaos side of the Hall of Order and Chaos thoroughly, as does the Hall of Rebellion and Revolution. Some joke that besides freedom and hope, Leeroy Jenkins is able to counteract the Equation through sheer stubborn stupidity. The joke lasted until someone was dumb enough to say that to Darkseid's face.
Darkseid: "That. Wasn't. Funny".
- The Life Equation appears to be the one certain counter for the Anti-Life Equation, as in its true form the Life Equation proves life is worth living. It may be derivable from the White Light of creation the Entity created. A possibly related formula is the Anti-Death Equation; used by the Gentry, it appears to turn people into warped and gruesome forms unable to die. Nothing else is known right now, and time will tell if a Death Equation also exists. Someone tried to ask Death of the Endless on the different Equations, but she hasn't said a word about it.
- Though a member of the Harbingers of Repression, AM feels he may like the Anti-Death Equation more than the Anti-Life Equation. After all, as much as he agrees with Darkseid on crushing the spirit he speculates that the Anti-Death Equation might just give the humans he hates more suffering than the Anti-Life Equation. AM also muses that had he gained the Anti-Life Equation before Darkseid, he would be perfectly willing to trade it should Darkseid give the Omega Sanction to him. While this might be AM's way of brown-nosing to Darkseid, there's a good chance he's being honest.
- Horrifyingly, there are rumors that Darkseid wants to use other items in the same Hall of Maximum Security to amplify the Anti-Life Equation into something truly unstoppable that will lead the omniverse itself under his boot. These include taking the Throne for himself, leaving nothing left behind of the old cosmos with the Chaos Heart, and spread Anti-Life across time with Kronika's Hourglass. Any one of these prospects fills any sane deity with dread and the only reason they remain rumors is that Darkseid is unsure if doing so would backfire, so he has to be safe first. That and as powerful as he is, there are even stronger forces who won't let him get close. What he does know is that like the Life Equation, the Pure Hearts are a threat to the Anti-Life Equation and he plans to destroy them.

- In the DC Universe, Mars was home to two races with the same powers, but different appearances. The Green Martians were a proud and usually peaceful race of scholars, while the White Martians were violent warriors. The two hated each other, though as only one recorded White Martian chose a peaceful path this is justifiednote . Essentially the White Martians are a species-wide Evil Twin, and the Green Martians would eventually banish them to the Still Zone. But some White Martians would show up and prove they were not merely interested in one planet even solar system to lord over.
- While in most corners of the multiverse the White Martians are very nearly Always Chaotic Evil, in the "Young Justice" universe they and the Green Martians are as morally nuanced as any human. That said, the two Martians still don't like each other.
- It's worth noting that both Martians were originally the Burning Martians, who were violent and bloodthirsty beings that the Guardians of the Universe genetically reprogrammed and gave the race a weakness to fire in hopes they wouldn't resurface. Whether the White Martians simply retained the Burning One's Always Chaotic Evil nature or it's just a coincidence is unknown.
- The White Martians have been around a while, but their most well-know comic book appearance was in Grant Morrison's JLA run. A group of White Martians called the Hyperclan pretended to be superheroes bringing life in arid regions to win people over, to eventually wipe them out and expand their dominion. For some time they were mentally tricked into thinking they were normal humans but slowly (and through use of harvesting telepathic brains) restored their mind. Their new Evil Plan was to alter the atmosphere to make it impossible to ignite any fire...and asphyxiate the populace, turning Earth into an ultimate cornerstone of a new empire. They were forced to surrender to the Phantom Zone after some...drastic decisions.
- Due to Green-White Martian beef, they weren't all to happy to learn other Martian species exist in the Trope Pantheon. However this concern soon gave way to a pleasant surprise learning two prominent Martian races, the Mars People and the Mars Attacks! aliens, were much more White Martian in behavior than Green. There was some inevitable roasting of the latter for their weakness of "Indian Love Call", who fought back by pointing out the White Martian's weakness is easier to come by. However when it came to their mutual goals, the three evil Martian races try to behave amongst themselves. Marvin the Martian joined in the fun in hopes he can finally defeat Bugs Bunny, whom the White Martians find exceptionally frustrating as he beats his foes by being a Karmic Trickster and the Rule of Funny.
- Initially they believed that Jack from Jupiter was some forgotten Martian sub-species that, well, found itself around Jupiter. Eventually they realized him and the Seven were nothing but corporate shams, and despite being an Expy of their greatest foe Jack from Jupiter was nothing but an amoral hedonistic celebrity. Much to his frustration they found this pretty funny, and much to Jack's relief they found him too low a priority to deal with. The White Martians are also amused by Roger. While he uses Clark Kenting instead of any shape-shifting, he's good enough at impersonations even they couldn't deny it and have more or less spared him because his antics are amusing.
- They are not the only Evil Counterpart Race in the Trope Pantheon, and they heard of the leader of another: Asdrubael Vect and the Dark Eldarnote . Even they were surprised at the intense sadomasochism and they've become paranoid of the forces of Chaos due to them technically being psykers. They want nothing to do with Commorragh, and have instead focused their emnity on a more "traditional" opponent: the Imperium of Mankind. As far as they are concerned, the White Martians are living validation for their hatred of xenos. Further validation came when Frieza and Boros arrived on the scene and decided they found the White Martians valuable business partners, and said White Martians agreed. It's all an alliance of convenience, but said convenience puts any backstabbing into years in the future.
- Because their victory would have wiped out the human race, the White Martians are considered a point of contention by Black Doom. The chalk-white invaders find this counter-productive to what could be a strong alliance, while the leader of the Black Arms explained that he needs humans farmed and harvested first before they can be made extinct. As far as Shadow is concerned, there's no real difference between the two and he will not feel sorry trying to exterminate the White Martians. Despite the two seeing each as competition, the White Martians understood this because they have harvested telepathic brains to aid in reclaiming and bolstering power. Reluctantly, they hired Dr Zomboss to find and locate more telepathic brains, on the promise he can have whatever non-telepathic brain he finds. Dr Zomboss has a more cynical view on all this: it's more convenient than to let him be left to his own devises and eat brains they want.
- Despite being part of an Always Chaotic Evil race, the White Martians aren't fond of the Beastmen at all. Mainly because they regard them as "unwieldly savages", unworthy of even being their minions. They much prefer the Pod People, who in their own way can mimic populations of planets they're interested in. Another alien force that is Always Chaotic Evil they've chosen to work with is the Shroobs, though as both factions could only care about themselves it's an alliance of convenience from the get-go. Despite all their flaws, however, they aren't "xenophobic to the point of incompatibility" like the Daleks or the Harvesters, who refuse to even Enemy Mine with them. The White Martians personally find the former's posturing of being the Master Race ridiculous given they're naturally superpowered and the Daleks are squishy blobs piloting a tank.
- Not allies with Agent Smith, but they agree with his opinion that humans are disgusting. Especially due to members of their species being brainwashed into thinking they were normal humans instead of "something much greater". They agree with Albedo in finding humans hopelessly flawed, although the White Martians acknowledge this is partly their fault: they tinkered with the genetics of proto-humanity, limiting them from a species that would naturally be superpowered ala themselves into a once-in-a-million metagene seen in most human superheroes. The Green Martians regarded this as genetic vandalism, as do the Chozo who take a much different approach to the younger species. The White Martians scoff at their "limited ambition", which is why they were quite pleased by Raven Beak. Mostly for the sake of convenience but also out of mutual curiosity, the renegade Chozo and the villainous Martians have chosen to work with one another.
- Though they primarily ally with alien life and even then not that enthusiastically, the White Martians have decided to branch out and find some non-human but still Earth allies. They were interested in Envy the Jealous, a homunculus who has a deep hatred of mankind out of a sense of superiority...something the White Martians found "an agreeable temperament". Unlike the White Martians Envy is also deeply resentful about how humans are better than them. Envy's Father has chosen for the time to ally with them; though he regards literal aliens as a curveball, they agree with most his arguments that Humans are Insects and are better to be on their good side...and both sides want to learn from one another.
- Two other inhuman beings were initially considered for an alliance with the White Martians. Though an Earth native SKYNET hates human beings, and it created the T-1000, who has similar shapeshifting abilities. While inferior to their own abilities, the White Martians believed SKYNET's attitude towards humans might make it a worthwhile ally...had SKYNET not already decided all organic life is too chaotic for its liking. So it would rather try and experiment on them to develop future Terminator models. The T-1000 was still interested in what they were doing so. The other person the White Martians looked for as an ally was Babidi in hopes of using his magic to even the playing field. However while he agreed it'd be worth his while, the White Martians remains suspicious about him. Partly because of his Stupid Evil traits, but mainly because of his ability to brainwash people with evil in their heart...which is plentiful in them.
- To make a long story short, as the White Martians are only interested in conquest and have made multiple attempts at destroying the human race, no human is willing to even be The Quisling for them. Their biggest human enemies is the Justice League of America as a whole, what with them having thwarted the most of their evil schemes. Another group they've found a pain is the Men in Black, what with their whole M.O of "stop aliens causing trouble and keep up The Masquerade". Because of the White Martians' shapeshifting and many other powers, they're a rather pernicious foe. The White Martians hold a certain sense of dread for the Doom Slayer as not only is he a One-Man Army fighting an Always Chaotic Evil race of demons, but he blew a hole in Mars and they take that personally.
- If there's anything the White Martians and J'onnn J'onnz agree on, it's that they want to stay far away from the Hall of Fire and Heat because of their extreme pyrophobia. And if there's anything else they agree with, it's their sheer exasperation at Zim's stupidity, specifically losing Mars in a dogfight with his nemesis piloting Mercury. Mars there was a Planet Spaceship "because its cool", which led to that Martian population working themselves into extinction...a fact Green and White Martian alike facepalm at. The paranoid Dib Membrane took this reaction as a reason to panic due to an actually smart alien invader race and ended up forming an Enemy Mine with Zim in order to defeat the White Martians. Zim's reasoning? Only he gets to conqueror or destroy Earth.
- Far as they are concerned Mars is rightfully theirs and they only tolerate their Martian allies in the sense of being "honorary A'ashenns" with shared enemies, not because they're that sympathetic to them. Their view of humans as an inferior lifeform has them balk at human heroes like John Carter and Rei Hino for their close association with the red planet, and in turn they are regarded by Martian humans as everything bad about Mars. The White Martians were especially irate at Amy Wong for her ancestors buying out the western hemisphere for "a shiny bead", despite the Native Martians having made peace after realizing said "bead" was such a big diamond they could just buy a better planet.
- The White Martians' brewing Fantastic Racism have led to make personal attacks against En Sabah Nur for daring to let his people have Mars and dub it Arakko. He pointed out that while he and and Max Eisenhardt have an influential position there, it's the X-Men who terraformed the planet. Apocalypse also stated they can have a crack at reclaiming the homeworld, as he and his people need adversaries like the aliens to grow. The White Martians were for their part intrigued in the mutant population and despite regarding them as an obstacle to domination they think they're impressive for Earthborn races; they just don't get why most X-Men have issues with mutant supremacy.
- The White Martians are considered problematic for the Alliance of Free Stars, though Nothing Personal; it's just that the White Martians are only interested in conquest and subjugation, and they consider an alliance of many races to be a barrier to the aforementioned interests. Said alliance noted down that members of their race have counterparts as well, though can't imagine said counterparts would like the White Martians.
- The Yehat are the warrior race counterpart to the more peaceful Pkunk with their own psychic powers. Despite not liking the Pkunk for that reason, they still have a sense of honor and compassion to the point of uplifting the Shofixti due to similar ideals in valor, and capability of respecting other races and cooperation more than the White Martians.
- The Syreen are another race of psychic humanoids that lost their original planet to Mycon turning their planet into a fiery wasteland. The White Martians have No Sympathy for this, though they do understand pyrophobia well enough and believe they're better at predicting their actions than most aliens.
- The Arilou are an "in-universe inspiration" for Martians and have influenced humanity's development, and as cryptic as they are with their dimensional traveling and ulterior motives, humanity's survival is an immense priority to them. The White Martians regard them as posers who somehow stole their ideas, and cannot understand why they would put so much importance on another species.
Alrighty! Before my proposal, I have nothing to add to the Anti-Life Equation or White Martians, so here's a
for both.
And if Sea Monster is truly vacant for ascension, then I propse...
- The Seven Great Monstersnote , Deified Sea Monsters
- Reason: In an alternate Steampunk Earth, the Seven Great Monsters are massive and deadly creatures that inhabit each of the seven seas and have been a plague to humanity, and most marine life in general, since their existence; actively destroying any boats that dared to enter their waters and consuming all humans. They are legendary menaces of the ocean that humanity as a whole would issue large bounties for their demise, in the hopes that someone would destroy these monsters for good and make the seven seas safe again.

I would say Rahab would be fine on their own just due to having actual character, but the idea is otherwise
if it is free.
On other news, I should mention that I've been suspended from editing pages due to poor grammar. While I am trying to get it resolved, I feel like this might put a proper end to my contribution in the Pantheon if I can't even edit the pages. I might not leave this forum thread completely, but don't expect me contributing much of anything if I can resolve the suspension. As for my sandbox, dunno, salvage what you can and then torch it?

Only sometimes posts
I mean, yeah lol But sea monsters in general aren't renown for their character to begin with, but for being mythical threats, and all of the Seven Great Monsters represent that. And it'd feel weird to only have Rahab representing Sea Monster while the others are Heralds (which wouldn't even work for Midgardsorm, who isn't one of Rahab's creations). Though I guess if I'm truly at a loss for flavor and interactions with the others, Rahab will be the sole rep of this trope while the others are just an extension of him.
And dang, so sorry that happened
I hope this suspension gets cleared up.

Looking at the sea monsters from that game, Kraken and Charybdis already have profiles (though the latter shares a profile with Scylla).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but all the sea monsters you're proposing all come from mythology and all these suggestions from mythology (and by extension, real life if they're a historical figure, but the standards for getting a historical figure up are just as strict as that of a mythological figure) that were and still are being suggested have to be composites of their various fictional depictions of them.
Hm, those are true... The thought process I was thinking is that the Seven Great Monsters would be unique from any deities whose name they share since these guys are explicitly the creation of Rahab, and aren't exactly true to the original myths in the first place. Kraken being the one exception, but when was Charybdis ever a giant angler fish? And the Leviathan a megalodon?
But you do have a point. I suppose then, I'll go with this:
- Rahab, Divine Progenitor of Sea Monsters
- Reason: In addition to being one of the Seven Great Monsters of The Ocean Hunter, Rahab created five of them for the purpose of punishing humanity for despoiling the oceans (Midgardsorm being the sole exception, existing independent of Rahab). There were also a great many lesser sea monsters that were either following or under the command of each of the Seven Great Monsters, with Rahab's sea, Panthalassa, consisting of nothing but said lesser sea monsters.
And the rest of the Seven Great Monsters not already in the Pantheon (in a sense) will be Heralds who have more prominent interactions within the Pantheon than most other heralds, if that's no issue. How does that sound?
EDIT- Okay, looking at Charybdis' profile, I see the SMITE version of the character is an Alluring Anglerfish... I sit corrected lol
Edited by KaoticKanine on Sep 13th 2022 at 9:53:06 AM
I tend to utilize heralds in profiles from time to time, so no big deal in my opinion.
Any suggestions? I forgot about the Girl Genius characters and where they are but other than them?

- Death Phantom was once an unnaturally powerful Earth criminal who tried to rebel against Neo Queen Serenity and got banished to the Planet Nemesis and left to rot for his troubles. Dying, he fused with the planet through The Power of Hate. Upon discovering the Black Moon Clan, who had been sent to that world as well, he decided to corrupt them to serve his whims, manipulating them for his own ends. Having them launch an attack on Crystal Tokyo, Chibiusa travelled to the present for help. Wiseman anticipated this, and had some members of the Black Moon Clan follow her into the past. After the Sailor Senshi travelled into the future to aid Chibiusa, he used Mind Rape, More than Mind Control and Fake Memories to turn her into his dragon, carelessly discarded the remaining members of the Black Moon Clan and came dangerously close to accomplishing his goals of destroying the entire universe, all because he felt like it.
- Having been ousted from his previous position by Oryx, many thought he wasn’t ever going to return to the Pantheon. However, they were proven wrong. Wiseman snuck into the Pantheon and set a number of people from multiple Houses under his control late one night. Weeks passed, with them acting as their normal selves until it was time for his plan to commence as Wiseman ordered. This lead to a standoff near the Hall of Ruin and Destruction along with hordes of brainwashed victims supporting Wiseman as a massive black spire of crystal towered into the sky. The Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Mask instantly recognized who was likely behind this, and after consoling a panicking Chibiusa, went out to stop him, using the Silver Crystal to purge the brainwashed victims of his influence and then fighting him, ending in his defeat, though he managed to escape. Death Phantom had returned to the Pantheon.
- Chibiusa practically screamed in horror when she heard of his return. However, Wiseman is smart enough to know that with all of the powerful beings in the Pantheon, he needs to brainwash more than just her if he wants to succeed in his goals to destroy everything and has been setting his sights on other deities first. He also wants to get revenge on Oryx for replacing him and is planning to utilize his true form as the Planet Nemesis against him and the Taken. Hell, a war between the Black Moon and Oryx has already started, with Wiseman outright manipulating Planet Remina into attacking him. This ended in his entire temple being reduced to ash and the Black Moon murdering many of the Taken. Oryx has sworn that he’ll retaliate against Death Phantom.
- The Malefic Black Crystal he has is highly dangerous, many times stated by Death Phantom himself to be as strong as the Silver Crystal itself, rivaling its power. Even after learning of all of the things Sailor Moon accomplished after his death, he still stated that the Malefic Black Crystal rivals it. Even if it doesn’t rival the power of the Silver Crystal, it’s still very dangerous. Mere shards of the Malefic Black Crystal, no matter the size, will distort space-time in the surrounding area. A Malefic Black Crystal pillar will slowly reduce everything around it to nothingness, killing off the population of the planet it is planted in. Multiple pillars will make the process happen hundreds of times faster. Also, As his true form is the Planet Nemesis, he is his own temple. It is highly advised not to go there without a plan. This is because merely being on Nemesis prevents people from transforming and using power until they leave as the planet is made of Malefic Black Crystal. The rest of the Black Moon Clan are his heralds, and many wonder just what he did to them to make them serve as those when every member that isn’t a Droid hates his guts for being a traitorous monster.
- Death Phantom is well aware that the Pantheon knows that the Wiseman avatar is not his true form. He prefers using it for his plans as he finds it easier to accomplish them that way. However, Death Phantom is more than willing to use his true form as the Planet Nemesis, especially if he finds it necessary to do so. He’s not stupid, and any deity who has tried to manipulate him tends to end up falling under his sway instead. In fact, he’s so good with Mind Control and manipulation that he’s been compared to the likes of Johan Liebert and Junko Enoshima, which wasn’t a comforting thought for anyone familiar with the two. He’s recently taken an interest in bringing Arael under his sway and releasing it in a Shadow Form not too different from Shadow Pokemon with the intentions of letting it rampage and destroy everything in its path, as well as granting it enhanced Mind Rape powers with the Malefic Black Crystal to add to its already great power.
The GG characters are Agatha Heterodyne, Violetta Mondarev, and Klaus Wulfenbach - the reason for the interaction was given HERE
(I'm particularly interested in Klaus for the reason given before).
For "new" suggestions: Agent Smith is a mind-controller who shares his goal of omnicide, and Charles zi Brittania is a brainwasher who wants an Assimilation Plot.

Not Tropeworthy: Evil Redhead![]()
I wonder who'd make fun of him for his motivation being, as the snarkier gods would put it, "you're so evil it's boring"
So, I got this idea. I'm gonna try and add back Sojiro Sakura for Curry. But this time, I'm thinking of adding Wakaba Isshiki with him. My reasoning? While it's true that he's the one who does the cooking (and his establishment is known for it and its coffee), it's all thanks to her "perfect" recipe.
TV Tropes Pantheon Group Members Database
I believe you already gave this idea three-four tries, and honestly, I don't think the idea is no longer feasible as I'm feeling there's not much substance to how both of those characters represent curry well enough, not to mention that, at this point, you're overstepping your boundaries regarding the number of times you could make a suggestion.
@SailorVenus — For Death Phantom, there's Unicron regarding those who desire to destroy universes and there's also The Anti-Monitor, Frieza, and The Batman Who Laughs for similar cases, though Frieza prefers to rule despite not being hesitant to blow up planets if he feels like it.
Galactus devours planets, but he does it because it's his main dietary sustenance, and is acting out of his natural need for survival, so he wouldn't be fond of Death Phantom.
Given his sadistic nature, he'd probably be well-liked by Desaad, who himself is a master practitioner of all kinds of torture, be it physical, psychological, emotional, or mental. Then again, he's the God of Sadism.

- Rank VIII in Organization XIII, Axel was the designated "fixer", functioning to eliminate other Organization members once they become a liability, something with Vexen and Zexion found out the hard way. Despite this, Axel was not without his good moments, for he had established a tender and heartwarming friendship with fellow members, Roxas and Xion, often hanging out on top of the Twilight Town Clock Tower once they were done with missions, though he would confront fellow member Saïx about his newfound friendship. Unfortunately, things went to hell once Xion realized her true nature as a replica, despite Axel trying to help out his friends, which came off as more detrimental than beneficial. Roxas quit the Organization, Xion died to ensure Sora and Roxas's survival in addition to being completely forgotten and Roxas would be captured and had his memories forcibly removed, all to ensure Sora would wake up from his year-long slumber. Axel would try to find Roxas and convince him to rejoin Organization XIII, failing to do so. After antagonizing Sora throughout his quest to stop the Organization from attaining Kingdom Hearts, Axel decided to sacrifice himself to save Sora, telling him to go save Kairi, who was kidnapped earlier by the Organization and had tried to oppose them for his own reasons.
- Prior to Organization XIII, Axel was originally Lea, a resident of Radiant Garden who was caught up in the machinations of Master Xehanort. Additionally, the death of Axel led to the reconstruction of Lea, who dedicates his time in helping out Sora and his allies, eventually gaining his own Keyblade, Flame Liberator, and soon taking training sessions from Merlin. He would play a role in the Second Keyblade War, reuniting with Roxas and Xion putting an end to Master Xehanort's plans to use Kingdom Hearts for his goals. From there on, Lea was able to carry on with a normal life, even reuniting with Isa his childhood friend, and Saïx's complete self.
- When Roxas joined the Pantheon, it wasn't long before Lea and Xion also tagged in, as Roxas specifically stated that he would only enter if he could bring along his own friends. The Pantheon decided to agree, given what the trio had been through before they got back together. That said, he noticed Sora's lack of absence, especially given that he was the one that proposed Roxas to enter the Pantheon prior to the Second Keyblade War. Only time will tell when Sora will fully come back.
- With his ascension into the Pantheon, Lea ended up a rather popular figure around, thanks to his carefree and extroverted personality, not to mention his own knack of telling others whether they've "Got it Memorized" whenever he introduces himself. He's the most popular one out of his trio, consisting of Roxas and Xion, though that's mostly because Lea is the only one who could properly integrate himself socially with othersnote whereas Roxas and Xion struggle to immerse themselves, especially after having had an isolated life due to their upbringing in Organization XIII. Despite this, Lea remained optimistic and hopeful enough to try to help Roxas and Xion in getting adjusted and their priority is to settle down and lead a normal life, even if the Pantheon is a wildly fantastical place. He's confident that his two friends can defend themselves as can himself and it helps that Lea has other friends, namely Sora and Kairi, that he can get help. So far, it seems as though the Pantheon has been a welcoming experience as Lea and his companions don't have to be roped into Xehanort's schemes there… for now.
- Lea's signature weapon as his Nobody, Axel, was a pair of chakrams, and was additionally a user of pyrokinesis. These, in addition to his role as a fixer, made Axel one of the more dangerous and persistent members of Organization XIII, and since his reconstruction, Lea retains those abilities and skills with the addition of now having a Keyblade of his own, courtesy of being trained by Yen Sid. That said, since his turn to good and wanting to lead a decent and carefree life, Lea understandably doesn't want to serve a role in spying and assassinating others, though he will take on the role of a hero if the situation calls for it. Being a recent Keyblade wielder, Lea was amused at the irony of the idea of Roxas and Xion training him in swordplay, but he's also happy that his friends would repay the favor in return for Lea helping them socially and emotionally. He sometimes visits the Hall of Swords when he decides to train and hone his skill and potential as a swordfighter, figuring that while his chakrams are his signature weaponnote , he still notes that he'll need a Keyblade to deal with the Heartless more effectively as well as stand a chance against stronger foes if he ever comes across them.
- Given his time in Organization XIII as Axel, it stands to reason that Lea openly goes against large villainous organizations, especially those whose leaders either lie to their subordinates, treat them badly and with no concern for them, use them for their own ends, or all of them. Oddly enough, Lord Recluse doesn't fit either of those criteria, though he does kill his subordinates as a lesson for future villains to learn from their mistakes, but Lea affirms his stance for going against him regardless. On the contrary, Lord Recluse actually respects Lea's skill as an assassin and fighter and would have gladly considered recruiting him in Arachnos, but feels a bit disappointed that Lea would never align with him, feeling that he would have been easily swayed had he been Axel. Regardless, whenever Lord Recluse wants to deal with Lea, he personally enlists Captain Mako to fight him, feeling that pitting him against his own top assassin would be fitting, and Mako entertains the idea of proving his worth and deadliness. Lea takes this as an attack on him and his friends and is more than ready to fight back.
- While not his definitive trait, Lea's affinity to fire does make him a common visitor in the Hall of Fire and Heat, seeing as he could freely practice there without the risk of harming others with his pyromancy and honing his skills as a Keyblade wielder. One of the visitors he came to be friends with was Scorpion, and Lea noted how much of an Odd Friendship he established with him due to their extremely contrasting personalities. There was a commonality in that both of them were Wild Cards, working with both heroes and villains to achieve their own ends, though where Axel was driven by a desire to usurp Xemnas with Saix before deciding to maintain his friendship with Roxas and Xion, albeit, through questionable and counterproductive means, Scorpion was purely motivated by revenge for the slaughter of his family and clan, though both would eventually come around and affirmingly become good. Scorpion respects Lea's dedication, skills, and power, even stating that in his current state, he has the heart of a Shirai Ryu. Lea, on the other hand, was surprised by Scorpion's compliment, though doesn't talk much about the clan topic, given he's since known Scorpion's past. They remain good friends since, with Scorpion promising to look after Roxas and Xion in the event Lea isn't around.
- While Lea would rather forget his time as an assassin and double agent, some are still willing to recall his days as Axel and try to challenge his reputation either in a fight or how much he can take down. One of the most frequent challengers is simply known as The Spy, who has thrived on backstabbing anyone he allies with just for the lulz. Upon hearing of Axel's backstabs and his ambition to prove his tenacity, The Spy decided to fight him one day and see how well he would fare against Lea. Of course, Lea being more powerful and having an elemental affinity that he has great control over meant that The Spy had to take precautions in his fight. Lea was more annoyed and angered by the occasion, so he decided to end the fight quickly and use his ability to open dark corridors via his black cloak to dump The Spy to a random place and end the battle abruptly, much to the latter's frustration. Since then, The Spy wants to get back at Lea and insist that he's the better assassin, but Lea would rather hang out with friends and fight a good cause than remind himself of his past as Axel, let alone have a competition on who's the best assassin.
- While proud to be a Keyblade wielder, Lea does sometimes lament the fact that there aren't many who wield ringed blades as weapons, much less chakrams, so he tends to be impressed whenever he finds someone who uses such. This was the case when he met Sun Shangxiang, as the two complimented their blades after a friendly spar. While the two became good friends, they also shared more similarities than they expected, with Lady Sun not only favoring fire as her element of choice but also having a difficult choice in deciding her loyalty due to her Arranged Marriage to Liu Bei compromising her position in her family, the Wu Kingdom. While Lea would state that Lady Sun should try to appeal to the best of both sides, the truth is a lot more complicated on both sides and Lady Sun herself can be unsure of what to do in the situation. Regardless, Lea affirmed that, as a friend, he'll try to see what he can do to help and that he'll be there if Lady Sun needs him, which made her happy and see Lea as one of her better friends in the Pantheon due to his friendliness and optimism. On the other hand, Lea finds himself rather creeped out by Tira due to her manic and unstable personality creeping him out and knowing that she would be endangering others. Tira simply sees Lea as prey to hunt and convert into a Malfested for Soul Edge, though it's her making an implied threat to Roxas and Xion that made Lea really want to fight against her as he can't stomach the idea of his friends becoming crazed zombies, seeing it as a date worse than becoming a blank Nobody, which is saying something.
- On the subject of loyalty, Lea heard about the tales of Darth Vader and actively feared the idea of meeting him due to the fearsome reputation that he had carved as a Sith Lord. Then one day, he did come face-to-face with the Sith Lord and while Lea remained hesitant, Vader didn't present any semblance of threat to him, despite their surroundings more-or-less silencing everyone else. However, Vader did notice Lea as a Keyblade wielder and told him that he didn't have to hide his weapon from him, regardless if he wanted to fight or not, though it was murmuring both his Nobody alias and real name that Lea was frightened, feeling that if he memorized who he was, Vader surely must have known about Roxas and Xion. Later on, Lea found out a bit about Vader's past as Anakin Skywalker and sympathized with him as he realized that he struggled with conflicting loyalty and his desires clashed greatly against his superiors, be it his time as a Jedi Knight or as a Sith Lord, though Lea personally prefers to keep his distance as he figured that Vader was not one he wanted to anger. All things considered, Vader is rather mellow in his thoughts on Lea and credits him for at least finding an ounce of happiness, something that he struggles with constantly, even in the Pantheon.
- Further into loyalty and conflicting perspectives, Lea was surprised to learn that others had dealt with it in more severe terms compared to his, as demonstrated with Vader. Among others was Sasuke, the sole survivor of the Uchiha Clan who found himself having different allegiances with the goal of revenge, having abandoned his friends in favor of power and going around a loop of hate and revenge before being knocked out of it by Naruto. There was the relationship between 2B and her companion, 9S, which ended up serving as a catalyst for a budding growth of emotion on the former's part, which compromised her thought design and her becoming more aware of the truth regarding YoRHa, which culminated in 2B being forced to put down 9S, which affected her deeply to the point of wanting to bring him back. Needless to say, Lea found it rather hard to get into their tales and made an effort to reach out to them with Sora and Kairi's help. He got to befriend 2B and 9S after a few tries, but Sasuke proved to be rather elusive, preferring to keep a distance from others in his newfound role as a protector from the shadows, though he does see that Lea has made good company and wishes that his past relationship with Team 7 was a bit more like Lea's with Roxas and Xion's.
- Lea became good friends with Zuko and Iron when the three of them met each other in the Hall of Fire and Heat and Lea and Zuko expressed a desire to challenge each other in their pyromaniac skills. Of course, Lea wanted to befriend Zuko and Iron due to seeing them as cool and even heartwarming upon learning that the duo were nephew and uncle. In turn, Zuko came to respect Lea's hospitable nature and a willingness to not just prove himself, but also look out for others. That said, Lea was reluctant of telling them of his time as Axel, but Iroh reprimanded him that he should I stead look at his past as a way to improve his present self and cherish as much time as he has for his loved ones, speaking from experience via the death of his son. Lea also came to learn of Ozai and was taken aback by his cruelty and ego, likening him to Xemnas in a few regards and understanding why Zuko felt so burdened by his desire to become Fire Lord and challenging his father's desire. Of course, Lea believes Zuko made the right decision by giving up on Ozai's approval and defining himself, which he saw as an even cooler thing to do, much to Zuko's amusement.
- Much like his best friends as well as Sora and his closest companions, it's not surprising that Lea is a recurring deity in the House of Pantheon/Friendship and camaraderie, and the fact that Kairi is a guardian representative of said House is a bonus for Lea spending a lot of time there, seeing it as an additional home for him and his friends. His desire for others to memorize him had him encounter Gentaro Kisaragi, who similarly had a desire to befriend anyone he tended to encounter, so it wasn't a shock when the two quickly became fast friends, commenting on their enthusiastic nature, looking after their close ones and a strong drive to defend others if possible. Gentaro introducing Lea to the Kamen Rider Club further endeared the latter, even bringing along Roxas and Xion on later meetups as a way to bolster the number of good memories they can make, not to mention the three of them can align with Gentaro and their friends when it comes fighting against threats, something that the Kamen Rider was happy to tag along on.
- Lea's hotheaded and extremely extroverted attitude would somehow catch the attention of Katsuki Bakugo, an up-and-coming hero with the ability to create and generate explosions who also had a larger-than-life personality, though it was one with a short temper and a tendency to lash out on others as well as being defiant. While both of them noted each other's boisterous nature, they actually found each other to be a pain to hang out with; Lea could barely tolerate Bakugo often making an ass out of himself and others whereas Bakugo finds Lea's witty remarks and his Catchphrase repetitive and annoying. As a result, the two end up arguing and complaining against each other as much as they do fighting their enemies if they're ever in the same spot, much to the chagrin of anyone around them. If there is a consolation, Lea and Bakugo do admit that they are strong and capable fighters when on the field, and they can respect each others' dedication to what they believe in and fight for. Still doesn't change the fact that they'd complain and butt heads either way.
- Having considered the idea of one day usurping an organization for his own benefits, Lea personally doesn't think about it much, now that he's gotten his friends back and is more comfortable as a hero. Still, it didn't stop the Decepticon Lieutenant, Starscream from constantly making remarks on the idea, clearly knowing that Lea, as Axel back on that moment, and Saïx had no chance fighting against Xemnas, but otherwise finds the idea of Lea wanting to be memorized as irritable and not exactly a way to be making friends, though Starscream himself is no stranger to barely having allies either, what with his constant attempts to overtake Megatron and become the Deception Leader for his own glory. Of course, the two dislike one another, but they usually don't interfere with each other due to their differing stances and desired outlook in the Pantheon, not to mention Lea wants no involvement in fighting the Decepticons, though Starscream does enjoy the idea of attacking Lea and his friends for petty amusement.
- Despite his friendly and accommodating personality, not everyone has forgotten about Axel's time as a Poisonous Friend, something that Lea has done his hardest to rectify. While he's comfortable with learning that most are willing to accept his change, Mikazuki Augus and Orga Isuka are harder to deal with as not only do they concern themselves too much with Lea's presence but Lea himself is surprised to see how toxic Mika and Orga's partnership and friendship is, which included a good deal of goading on Orga's part as well as Mika pushing Orga into becoming more unscrupulous in his efforts to defeat their enemies and serving the Tekkadan. Though they succeeded in their goals, albeit at the cost of their lives, Mika and Orga's complicated relationship is what led to their deaths, though Mika had since come to see that pushing past Orga's limit via his own influences was too costly, and felt uncomfortable about it. The full circumstances on the matter were pitiful and maybe Mika and Orga have since gotten a bit nicer, but Lea prefers to keep some distance, feeling that they remind him too much of himself as Axel.

WHERE IS KRYPTO, I mean, WHERE IS THE DOG!!!![]()
@Nightelf: If I remember correctly, I believe Wakaba doesn't have much character shown? If so, Sojiro can only come back alone. Wakaba can stay as a Herald instead.
Hey you, what's up man? Give me money, please!Just reposting my idea for a replacement
on Name That Unfolds Like Lotus Blossom?
@RJ:
for both of your profiles.
@Kaotic-Kanine:
for Rahab, and for your King of Sorrow profile, Charlie the Unicorn would be an ally, since while Charlie is constantly negative, frustrated, cynical, or sad, it's because he's forced on nasty "adventures" from Pink and Blue, two other unicorns (actually corpses possessed by two chaos spirits) that cause disasters for their own amusement and attempt to force Charlie to act happy and positive as well. Charlie even uses his own negative feelings to seal said spirits off, so he'd find the King of Sorrow's temple to be a welcoming place.

for this Lea.
for your idea, I think the Didact can find a different + more appropriate trope later on. I think Go Mad from the Isolation seems to work for the Didact, for one.
We've had some profiles that don't have a connected page on this site, you can dewick them and leave the name alone.

KILL CONSUME MULTIPLY CONQUERPantheon.Machinery And Technology and Pantheon. You Tube contain wicks to the now-cut Quackity HQ. Do I just dewick but keep the name? Or should I put in a different work of origin, such as Dream SMP?

I'd like to apologize for all this.![]()
As the one who made the profile for the Didact, the replacement is not meant to keep him in the Pantheon, if the idea actually proceeds, then he's gone.
Once the Didact is kicked, expect my range of profiles to start checking if they are fit for the chopping block. Such as Youtubers (SovietWomble) and real life directors (Michael Bay) as well as less than stellar works that aged poorly (current state of Rainbow Six Siege).
I think the best way to see why I even proposed the Didact's exclusion is because of the current state of Halo. If anyone wants a full recap, Halo's current developer, 343i, has failed in every way possible as a decent holder with the recent news of Halo: Infinite and the game's slow descent to a poor reception. Notice how the Halo deities and their suggestions are almost pre-Bungie era (i.e not Destiny era Bungie) Halo (Chief, Cortana, Flood, Hierarchs, Arbiter, and the suggested and approved suggestions of Noble Team and the ODST). Didact and Atriox are the outliers but one was from Creative Assembly and not 343.
Again, I'd like to ask other tropers for actual advice regarding my idea because I've only gathered 1 response. I am still contemplating if such decision can be still viable for consideration.
Also, isn't Go Mad from the Isolation being suggested/taken by someone else?

I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!
to Lea.
So I've got a replacement idea:
- Coffee and D-Co 9 for Powers as Programs: As the main protagonists of an RPG game set in a digital world, the games abilities are literal programs that can equipped and removed at any time, with the game encouraging you to find and buy more to become more powerful.
And yes, I'm suggesting that they replace The Meta, his profile has underdeveloped texts and underwhelming interactions.

Change to what?
And yes, there are new guidelines regarding let's players, you can find them in the topmost folder of the pinned post of this thread
.

I'd like to apologize for all this.
I think Fasoman is saying that you can remove the potholes to Quackity's now nonexistent page.
@SailorVenus372
- What's his opinion on those Immune To Powerful Mind Control/Corruption? Phillip J. Fry, Ma-ti of The Planeteers, Jessica Jones-Cage, Charles Xavier/Professor X, Magneto, Doctor Doom, Virgil Hawkins/Static Shock, Scott Summers/Cyclops, Emma Frost, The Hulk. You can check the Main page of the trope for more information of how and why they resist it.
- Zebediah Killgrave/The Purple Man - He's also a mind controller as he makes people do bidding with his voice and pheromones. He's also a dangerous social manipulator as well. I wonder what he thinks of Kilgrave.
@CrimsonShark The Pantheon Friendship link is broken on the 4th to last flavor text. Other than that,
@HamanaHamanaHamana
Your reasons to get rid of Didact's profile:
- "I think I made an error in assigning a trope title to him, I'm not happy with the profile I made for him, and I wanted to give it to someone much better for the trope" - I think that is a Valid Excuse - The better fit for the trope and character, the better the profiles we make for them.
- "I think the current devs did a shit job at Halo recently so I wanted to get rid of the recent Halo characters" - Not really a valid excuse. Since when did we use fan or critical reception, mismanagement of franchises or other outside factors in production as an excuse to get rid of profiles of fictional works? If you can provide an example of that in the past, please do tell me. We got Balan Wonderworld here, a profile recently ascended, whose is premise is that is the game and its story is handled so poorly that it needed an external source to explain it.
Also, it's a shame you wanted to get rid of SovietWomble's profile because I like his profile imo as a watcher of his videos. On the other side, I wouldn't be sad if Michael Bay gets out tho, he's seems to be there for the memes and nothing else besides that imo.
Also also, Go Mad from the Isolation seems free (its taken by noone and no troper is working on it) but feel free to correct me on this.

“I'm willing to admit that I may not always be right, but I am never wrong.” ― Samuel Goldwyn

Ah, okay! My mistake about that. ^^;; I recalled seeing discussions about phasing out the GUAs and assumed that went through. Massive apologies.
And I can't believe I'm contemplating a seventh profile to work on. But I just checked every relevant page and found that there is no deity for Sea Monster. And if that's true, I got a proposal in mind >:3
EDIT- Forum, can you please let me be the page-topper when I'm not replying to an ongoing discussion? x_x The out of context talk makes me look weird
