Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning, a paragraph of reasoning to justify taking a trope should be sufficient. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Attempting to work on ideas without a nomination and at least one net thumbs-up will not be accepted regardless of how much you have written already. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. For reworks in particular, nominate the idea as you would with new characters or profiles. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user, either in the Pantheon or the Sandbox sections.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters. Some real-life individuals, including content creators (fictional content created by them is still fair-game, but do not bring up the creators themselves in such cases), may be considered disqualified for profiles due to controversies that would make them concern the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment. To determine where a current creator would be disqualified:
- Wait for at least a month after the latest significant update for a creator's controversy before any decision can be made. If a confirmation from the questioned creator (or associates) themselves occurs, then wait for a week.
- Immediate disqualification for either a guilty sentence in a significant court case against the creator, or evidence of consistently repeated, deliberate, and/or intentionally provocative hate speech and advocacy of dehumanizing perspectives, with lesser examples warranting caution instead.
- For creators with a clear persona of their character disclosed before any scandal, the persona can have a profile with no mentioning of their real-life information. Ambiguous existence of a persona would have to be discussed further hand for anything more decisive.
- For obvious reasons, gods cannot be followers, high priests, or heralds. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- The very first thing any contributor should do before working on an idea or a profile is to propose and nominate the idea on the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3
means the profile will have a one-week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5
is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions Expansion, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4
is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be one flavor text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like to look like Character Shilling.
- Every troper new to the Pantheon is barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles, this means avoiding the usage of "
" or "
".
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for the deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others. After all, no one is responding to their idea.
- You can also adopt a profile or idea to work on from another contributor by messaging a request to them (preferably through private messages). Even if you get their permission, you still have to announce your adoption to the forum. Note that if the idea wasn't nominated in the first place you still have to properly nominate it.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to note in a trope example that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, correct the situation by deleting the offending text. This goes for any non-Pantheon page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Pantheon.Good And Evil Colors.
- Do not bring things that would incite fights; hot topics and 'urgent' news are not pertinent to the Pantheon's mission. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight each other, so don't suggest things that go in that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
, as proper English spelling and grammar is expected.
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also, be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in another House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity at most.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part of their series' official soundtracks from the media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters' appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlight a character's behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute it to the original artist. Due to the website's dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website
is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too many bytes, it is suggestible to use this site
to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, run the compressed image through other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikis to look for better images, as even wikis for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that make sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Please refer to Text Formatting Rules when writing a profile, since understanding how to make and edit site pages in general is a necessity for working on profiles or other Pantheon content. Additionally, if you are not experienced with English, refer to this forum page
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally an expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entirely from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well-advised not to abuse them. The only house where trope-less profiles are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Do not write in self-promotion or blatant advertising. Minor references to something are fine but writing that clearly intends to advertise something will not be given toleration.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place, or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending on if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warper deities capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warper deities that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low-level Reality Warper beings capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Badass Normal citizens of the pantheon, making up for their lower status with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on the representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud
or YouTube
.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral, etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here; the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignments to characters that don't have an alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case the deity would be unavailable, incapacitated, dead, or otherwise incapable of carrying out their duties. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either from their perspective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly oppose or are opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects", "On Good Terms With", and/or "Commonality Connection") in terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- OPTIONAL NOTE FOR CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS: Should the list for Character relationships (IE. Allies, Enemies, etc.) become too big, categorize a certain number of characters to a specific group putting them on a sublist (One example: Luigi is from the same world as his brother Mario, hence Luigi should be fall under the Super Mario Bros sublist.)
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part, the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This is the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis of the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as to where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Let's try this again, posting for feedback:
Vito and Michael Corleone, The Dons of the Pantheon and Harbingers of Close Enemy Relationships (Vito: Don Vito Corleone, Vito Andolini, Don Vito; Michael: Mike, Mikey. Both: Don Corleone, The Godfather)

- Quasideities
- Symbol: A bottle of Genco Pura olive oil with a revolver to its side. Alternatively, a hand holding a marionette control bar.
- Theme Song: The Godfather
- Alignment: True Neutral most of the time, with Vito leaning towards Lawful Evil and Michael leaning to Neutral Evil.
- Portfolios: The Dons of the Sicilian Family who are charismatic yet vicious
- Vito: The father of the Corleone Family with protective habits, has massive connections with various sects but will refuse revenge on most occassions, treats everyone around him with respect, ran away from Italy to avoid the mafia to becoming a powerful crime boss
- Michael: Vito's son who cared less about his business until the assassinations escalated by their rivals, from a once nicely raised kid to becoming the Corleone's most ruthless boss, takes up the mantle after his father's death, uses cunning plans to show authority eventually turning him far worse than his father, became the very thing the Corleones swore to avoid at the end
- Domains: Law, Mafias, Family, Nobility, Organized Crime
- Herald: The other members of the Corleone Family (Sonny, Fredo, Connie, Kay-Adams, Deanna-Dunn, Carmela, Apollonia Vitelli, Mary, Tony), Tom Hagen (Vito's adopted Consigliere), Vincent Mancini (Michael's nephew), Carlo Rizzi, Luca Brasi and Al Neri (their respective personal bodyguards), Peter Clemenza and various associates of the family
- Godfather of: The House of Crime and Transgressions
- Allies (and possible associates): Leon Montana and Mathilda Lando, the Sopranos and DiMeo Family, Omar Little
- Rivals: All other Mafiosos and gangs with the Boss of the 3rd Street Saints, Huang Lee, Kazuma Kiryu and Al Capone being the most notable
- Banned from: The House of Religion and Faith (for Michael)
- Enemies: Drug dealers and those associated with it such as the likes of the Tony Montana and Walter White, police officers with Cole Phelps being on their tail
- Under the Watchlist: The House of Law and Justice
- Whenever one hears the word Don, one of the most obvious guesses refers to the mafia, a large family connected to the world of crime originating in Italy. In this case, one Italian made it to the ranks in New York City, establishing a code of honor and authority even among other criminals at that time. This is the story of Vito Corleone, known to the families as The Godfather. His goals are simple, maintain the status quo of the Corleones in the world of America whilst holding most of the connections from simple folk to judges and officers of the law. By creating a myriad set of standards that he follows, not only is he entirely cryptic to any outsider but a respectable and highly dangerous threat to any criminal that dares to cross him, his businesses and most importantly his family. Though rightfully feared, his leadership would soon end and eventually a heir was chosen to fulfill the role of the Don of the family.
- The position of heir was fought against three of Vito's sons, Sonny, Fredo and Michael Corleone. Michael did not want anything to do with the family business while Sonny and Fredo's flaws, be it the former's hot-headedness and the latter's stupidity made them unfit to take the mantle with Sonny eventually getting killed by a rival family. Seeing that no other option was left and with the attempted assassinations against his father, Michael took the position as the new heir of the Corleone family. What ensured was a warpath of cunning schemes, brutal revenge, massive power consolidation and fear that made Michael a far more dangerous man than Vito, especially from a violent standpoint. That said, Vito had control which allowed him to earn some shred of respect while Michael had no remorse for his enemies. In the end, despite being the most powerful family and the new future catching up, Michael would live the last remainder of his life as the antithesis to his father's legacy.
- Originally this position was offered to many candidates, with Al Capone being the most prolific, until Don Vito, hearing of the ruckus, made him a much better one, something along the lines of "what right does a Neapolitan have to interfere in a matter between Sicilians", and Capone stepped down. An unprecedented move, a gang war broke out between several of the multiverse's known mafiosos in order to occupy the vacant spot, leading to a massive bloodshed of dead mafioso, which allowed the Corleone crime family to step up and consolidate their hold in what would be a greater form of power. To make it permanent, Vito assigned co-ownership alongside Michael, even with his son's objections on the offer. Despite his protests, Vito's unwavering confidence and good choice of words convinced the higher ups to put Michael alongside Vito as the Dons of the Pantheon with the remaining family members and affiliates given permanent protection as heralds.
- Being the Don of the Mafia has made the Corleones a rightfully feared name, owned by the fact that Vito's standards would set up a high bar for many to follow and that only few would even get it right. Unfortunately, that same fear was not felt within the bowels of the Pantheon, which was the House of Crime and Transgressions. His disappointment would be felt as many would remain uncooperative and most would not even follow the rules of the trade even with diplomatic attempts. Seeing that talks were out of the question and that the House of Law and Justice was unwilling to cooperate, decided to give Michael the reign as the Don. The result ended with a large "cleansing" of the place, by Michael's words, and majority of the criminals of the underworld suddenly stopped. With authority in place and morale reseted to their liking, the Corleones established their rightful place in the Pantheon, as key members of the Great Felony Eleven.
- For the Corleones, especially Vito, authority is the true weapon of the mafioso as the reputation of one being mysterious yet dangerous makes him truly feared, rather than going in guns blazing. The Pantheon's criminal den and its inhabitants have shown a lack of authority so it was his time to install his reputation among the streets and districts. One of his first actions was bringing and hiring a hitman by the name of Leon Montana, seeing his skills as well enough to protect his family, alongside a strict code of honor both seem to have. He also agreed to bring Mathilda Lando per agreements with Leon as a condition to allow entrance in the Pantheon, creating a deal in the Main House and Courts for their stay. Second was the aforementioned permission from Vito to Michael to purge as many unruly criminals in the House. The latter of which forced other criminals to behave but some of the more chaotic ones escaped and placed their temples someplace else, which has continued to be a thorn for the two now that they are not part of the house but still have obligations to visit.
- Rivalries with other mafia families were a common sight in the old times, though it was more of a silent war than the usual shootouts in gang wars. A few mafia families immediately recognized the two and decided to side with them, not just because of inspiration, as what the DeMeo family claims to be the main case, but because of the potential for more power and connections. After all, mafia families cannot hold on their own if they are controlled out of fear. Michael has some bone to pick with them but so far, Vito has not released the leash, since he fears both Michael and the DiMeos are as equally dangerous if given the ample resources. Not all were friendly relations however as Al Capone did manage to get into the Pantheon... though by more humiliating means. He competes with the Corleones over who is the greatest mafia boss of all time since Al does have a historical background while the Corleones just popularized the idea, but there is a lot of mutual respect between them, especially as mafioso.
- Past the mafia, the family has no sympathy over other criminal organizations, calling them as too messy to deal with and for a lack of a better term, "without any form of standards" to the criminal life. Italian and American families may be enough but the addition of street gangs, Yakuza and Triads as well as other unmentioned groups have soured what little remained of a controlled criminal empire into a bumbling state of affairs. An example of this is 3rd Street Saints, a gang that has continued to be a thorn in the Corleones' businesses as the Boss has made raids on the random alongside the large infamy and territory the Saints have in some portions of the Pantheon. Yakuza and Triad members have also taken notice of the Corleones' reach, with Huang Lee and Kazuma Kiryu eventually being forced to meet the two for a "truce", so as long as there will be no bloodshed, which is a contradictory statement considering the House they are in but they can try to minimize the damage, though as they say, violence can be an accepted form of competition. Kiryu for once is actually happy for once that a crime leader will not resort to physically beating up people (unless its Michael) while Huang's attitude has him apathetic at the offer but signed it anyway to keep the Triads at peace especially after his takeover from his uncle's betrayal.
- Vito Corleone is the head of the crime family and arguably the one that started the business. He was born in Italy under the name Vito Andolini, though his family had a short-lived life as a rival family killed them off one by one, eventually forcing him to emigrate to America, where he vowed to climb his way to the top. After a few schemes and successes in life, he built his empire with strength, intelligence and patience at hand, and with his establishment in America made from the ground up with his revenge from the Don that killed his family, he founded the standards and code of conduct many Dons in New York emulated. After a few changes, including being part of an business he had no interest in, he died in a heart attack, putting Michael Corleone in charge of the family from now on.
- Vito is normally a calm man, a man of standards if you will. He prefers talks and promises that he actually fulfills, including a bravado that he confidently shows to all Dons. He has no interest in revenge and other businesses he has no intention of ruling, unless it is personal. He prefers to either earn his respect of other positions (such as having loyal members at the police or senate) and show some mercy, that is once you see him in a deal, where he will create an offer no one will refuse. Because of his mysterious aura, Vito has remained a calm, collected and very respectable and nice man, unless you double-cross him that is.
- Drugs is also one way to earn his hatred to anyone, as the business and the deals made by his son Sonny was the cause of his family's decline. He has made it clear that any known drug dealers seen in the vicinity of his turf are not welcome and may even be shot on sight. Ergo, this has made him enemies to anyone related to the business, with his prime target being Walter White. His son hates him moreso but both have agreed that their stance against drugs is of equal detestment, just ask what happened between Sollozzo and his son Sonny Corleone, of which he has barred any authority over the business.
- Even against the heralds' advice, Vito has considered Omar Little a useful ally, as Don Vito Corleone loathes drug dealers and Omar's favorite target for his robberies are drug dealers, a response to Michael's actions which he considered a bit too much. Omar usually has no one to obey but the deal Vito has and his contracts has made him a worthy asset to the family. Because of this contract, the Corleones have often encouraged or outright hired Omar to steal from drug dealing competitors, and Omar has been more than happy to comply with this arrangement, to the point of making him under protection of the family.
- "A man who doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man."
- In his time as a father, Vito took care of his children, Sonny, Fredo, Michael and Connie. Sonny and Fredo have been considered liabilities to the family and so Michael was instated as the new Godfather after Vito's passing. Michael, the younger brother of Sonny and Fredo and the older sibling to Connie, ironically had no intention of passing the torch of the family's crime business but due to Sonny's incompetence and Fredo's stupidity, he was given no choice but to lead the family under Vito's blessing. His history of being a pacifist would turn into violence as every action Michael has made, intentional or not, has attracted a mess of Dons who want the Corleone family dead. The end result was a violent Don who would go out of his way to kill those who stood in his path, including those of blood. By the time he became old, he would realize that all his actions could never match his father's reputation as well as putting the family in constant danger and after the death of Mary, his daughter, he would retire and die in Sicily, alone for the rest of his life.
- During the assessment of Vito's hate against drugs, Walter White then came to observe Michael's past, He was said to be ironically amused at Michael's ascension to godhood, viewing it as the final step in Michael's journey which saw him go from scrupulously avoiding being involved in crime to one of the most feared and influential criminals in fiction, a transformation that he himself was famous for. Michael was unaware of this until White sent mail coming to laugh at his hypocrisy and angered, grabbed some of the family's assets where he ordered several hits in Walter, each being more painful than the last, though the Pantheon has its rule of the Status Quo that anyone deified would remain in the premises. As a last letter, Michael sent a last warning to the drug dealer for his statements:
Michael: If anything in this life is certain, if history has taught us anything, it is that you can kill anyone, especially you.- There is one Italian that both Corleones have rejected. To them, Tony Montana is a disgrace to The Mafia name. His disastrous tenure not only caused the downfall of his group, it also glorified the drug smuggling business. Even worse, his influence has amassed various copycats from throughout the Pantheon. To Montana, the feeling is mutual. He calls the Corleones "fucking pussies" for staying back to leave their hands dirty. Vito has no part in the war since he is busy with negotiations, however he has given Michael the role to wipe Montana out of the Pantheon premises and he has gladly taken it with stride as the Corleone-Montana mafia wars have escalated, no part in due to Michael's strategic thinking and support from his father's allies, though some have agreed that Vito's son is too much of a warmonger that they actually fear him for that.
- The House of Religion and Faith has made it clear that they will not allow Michael within their premises, as unlike the House's rather begrudging acceptance of his father regardless of their business, Michael's actions (including organizing the wholesale slaughter of his enemies even as he stood in a church "renouncing Satan and all his works
" and meddling with the Pope) were too much of an affront, even to those who do not follow Catholicism. When Vito heard of this, he was absolutely devastated as he was not notified of the extent Michael achieved his goals. The news has further made the bond between the two more tense as the father has constantly made speeches against his son's actions, on a Church, a place where they have kept tradition for years, no less.
- "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer."
"Jagshemash! My name Borat. I like you. I like sex. Is nice!"
Borat Sagdiyev, God of Funny Foreigners

- Theme Songs: Eu Vin Acasa Cu Drag
, In My Country There Is Problem
, Wuhan Flu
- Quasideity
- Symbol: The flag of Kazakhstan, and a fluo green mankini
- Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
- Portfolio: A rather clueless Kazakhstan reporter who acts as a racist, misogynist and massively anti-semitic (despite the actor playing him is Jewish), goes abroad to report about the United States, actually does not speak Kazakh but a mixture of Armenian, Hebrew, and Polish, comedic in an outlandish way
- Domains: Foreign Culture, Travel, Journalism, Comedy, Political Incorrectness
- Herald: Tutar (his daughter), Azamat (his manager)
- Allies: Parvana Alizai
- Enemies: None. He tries to be nice to everyone, except for Jews and gypsies.
- Opposes: All Jewish and gypsy deities in the Pantheon.
- Borat Sagdiyev is a journalist/reporter from the far-off nation of Kazakhstan, and has traveled abroad a lot to learn about the culture of other countries and compare them to that of his homeland. Despite being a massive racist, he is a decent person who is more than happy to learn about other cultures even if he is kind of an idiot. In his two trips to the United States, he has shown quite a handful of manners that either shocks or infuriates the bystanders, unaware to both about his lifestyle being different to the typical American and his actions often painting him either as a comedian or at most times, politically incorrect. Despite all the misgivings, he bears no ill will against the citizens and everyone around and comes off as relatively harmless.
- One day, he left Kazakhstan to embark on another one of his travels after his successful reports about the United States have gone gold, but this journey in particular is extremely different: an unknown landmark that was supposed to cross the globe, particularly that of the East. Upon landing, he noticed something different and reading his assignment, it turns out he is going to the Pantheon to learn about the culture in it and talk with some of the deities present. While he was able to pose as a regular tourist, his (morbidly) hilarious antics started cropping up in various Houses and the authorities caught up with him. After witnessing the culprit and his history, the Court of the Gods decided to grant him a place proper among the Gods. In Borat's own words, it was a Great Success!
- The Pantheon has great offerings when it comes to the deities' origins, many have come from various nations and cultures, all of which Borat can easily document, if he was not such a big (and admittedly funny) nonce. His racism, bigotry and misogyny are all big culture shocks to many of the Pantheon's inhabitants, likely because they have not achieved the same level of carelessness compared to Borat's carefree attitude, though its more likely because of Kazakhstan's culture, according to him that is. His subsequent trips to America has given him a dose of real life implications of his attitude but he has not changed one bit, well maybe a bit of the misogynistic attitude of his once it was found out that he had a daughter that he raised.
- A clear cut example of some of Borat's attitudes not changing is his despicable attitude against Jews and gypsies. Some of his hate stems from Kazakhstan's main problems, among which includes Jews, likely because of the nation's superstitious beliefs against them. His hate for gypsies may as well be with the same reasoning, though not entirely explained as compared to Jews. Some of his attitudes, despite him labelled as a Kazakh, are not entirely from that nation, for one, his "Kazakh village" is actually in Romania and his language (alongside his assistant Azamat) are a mix between Armenian and Hebrew. Some of the stuff Borat gets are actually from Israel... home of the Jews, and if one hopefully does not want to break the news, Borat himself may be an actual ignorant Jew. Still, some of his attitudes are pretty hilarious and can break up the monotony of the Pantheon's conflicts.
- He was surprised that despite the various cultures and people around the Pantheon, few rarely came from his homeland, until he met a young girl who approached him with sympathy. The girl's name was Parvana Alizai, an Afghan who went to the troubles of the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, who told stories of her experience following the prosecution of women in that nation at her time. One of Borat's heralds, his daughter Tutar sympathized with her and asked for her dad's permission to not just befriend her but to consider her heritage. After a few stay-ins within her temple, an enlightened Borat decided to lower his sexist views around the Pantheon, not just for his sake but for Tutar and Parvana's sake thanks to the latter's history.
You know, you didn't answer AzureLegacy's question. I think they have a good point. Is there a reason Vito and Michael have Keeping the Enemy Close? Apparently, the only trope they were accepted for was The Don.

As enemies of drug dealers everywhere, I can imagine Vito and Michael being allies — not rivals — to Bucciarati's Gang, and thus enemies of Diavolo (also found in Villainous Reputation).
Maybe Borat would have an Everyone Has Standards moment with Judge Claude Frollo, who hates the Romani but to the point of genocide.

"I would never consider YOU a waste of personnel." — KawarinoWhat Iceaura said, Hamana. When, exactly, was Keeping the Enemy Close proposed and accepted for the Corleones?
Freudian Excuse: Not one person is entirely good or evil; something will have to have happened in the past to make them what they are today.@Hamana - Yeah, I and Azure did some digging on the forum pages and we haven't come across any post about you proposing Vito and Michael to be eligible for Keeping the Enemy Close. Just to make sure, did you actually mention anything about also proposing them for that trope and do you remember when you did so, be it the exact day, week, or month at the very least?
Edited by CrimsonShark on May 21st 2022 at 6:11:20 PM
WHERE IS KRYPTO, I mean, WHERE IS THE DOG!!!@Hamana: If you want to keep your integrity intact, instead of coming at us with insults and accusations of us "not respecting the classics", you make your argument on why the Corleones also fit for Keeping the Enemy Close. Otherwise, they are keeping The Don with no second trope to hold.
Hey you, what's up man? Give me money, please!Hello, I'm writting because I want to replace The Ultimate Chimera of Mother 3 for Len Alwena Foska of (Mario) The Music Box.
The position they're competing over is Invincible Boogeymen.
Reason: I feel that Len does this trope much better than the UC. First of all: The UC's threat spans just one chapter of the game, it escapes causes a panic, and it's later tamed by a canary bird falling on its off switch, dissapear from the narrative for a while and then another go later and that's it. Len meanwhile is hanging in the background for the whole story, and by that I don't just mean the games, but that she's an Ancient Evil who's been around since the distant backstory.
Next, we have Len's sheer Presence. Sure UC also has intimidation factor, any "You lose" in fiction or Real Life will inevitably be intimidating, especially because in fiction (at least non Cosmic Horror Story fiction) and RPG videogames in particular there's relatively very little that's just "You lose", the Lady of Pain from Planescape being a great example of this trait that both candidates have. However Len is way scarier than UC because while you DO have a boss fight against her, it's just a Timed Mission to survive her attacks while she toys with you like the cat she is before going in for the kill and giving Mario a Fate Worse than Death something that drives in just helpless you are right from her words at the begining to the very end, making the feelings much stronger than the UC's insta-kills. When Len kills Mario, she mostly does by inmobilizing him befor ripping him apart, when the UC does Lucas in, their sprites just stand next to each other while the screen goes red.
When you put those 2 points together it's clear has that "special touch" that merits her ascension to this position more than the Chimera.
Another 2 points I want to say is that I do not want UC gone, but rather moved with the rest of the chimeras. The second is that I feel The Music Box is a great game that deserves more representation.

Oh, and I think Elfilin should be ascended along with Fergo.
Last thing, as you can probably tell from my trope scheduling habits I happen to live in a different Time Zone and for me it's late so forgive me if I'm not there and give me voice in the discussion, 'cause I often feel ignored.
As the one who ascended UC, that’s actually an Old Shame of mine, but I’ll wait until more people chime in before approving or disapproving
Hamana, just take off the dang extra trope instead of ignoring everyone, there was no need for it and at this rate you're risking getting reported and the profile never getting ascended at all.

Now that Rapunzel has been moved to Homes and Urban Environments, Personal Appearance has two Guardians now. Crimson made some suggestions here
about potential replacements. Which ones would you guys like to approve?

When you think Invincible Boogeymen, you're more likely to think of a vicious Stock Slasher or some other threat that needs to be run from rather than a manipulative mastermind who cannot be defeated. Could be splitting hairs, though. She seems like a fun character. Another good candidate for the position might be Carne/Notorious B.I.G., an antagonist from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.
Reasoning: Strange and eldritch even by JoJo standards, Carne willingly offers himself as a sacrifice to the heroes, only for his Stand to activate. Notorious B.I.G. proves to be one of the most durable and broken enemies Team Bucciarati has ever faced, with all of their efforts (including a newly-awoken Trish and Spice Girl) barely managing to slow it down. It was only "defeated" when the heroes made a daring escape from the crashing plane they and B.I.G. were on, sending it into the ocean... and it still survived that.
I might have put "It" from It Follows up as a potential candidate too, but that would be much better as a god of Death By Sex due to the movie's subject matter.

By the way, I know that Fecto now has 5

then you should paste the profile to the page(s).

I checked your previous uploads, and yep, you only have 4

SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMYI have a couple of proposals for new ascensions here, taken right from my sandbox:
- Master Eraqus, God of Strawmen Making Valid Arguments
- Possible House: Logic, Character Roles
- Alignment: Lawful Good, though can veer into Lawful Neutral when Darkness is involved.
- Reason: Eraqus' role in his game is to teach the protagonists that Light Is Good and Dark Is Evil, but the game portrays this as Black-and-White Insanity and him being too much of a paranoid Knight Templar. Unfortunately, however, the series seems to go out of its way to prove him right, as heroic users of Darkness are few and far between, and had to struggle quite a lot to avoid being corrupted by it, while Eraqus himself is the closest thing to a villainous user of Light, when at worst he is very much a Well-Intentioned Extremist.
- Humbert Humbert, God of Unreliable Narrators
- Possible House: Types of Narration, Trickery
- Alignment: Neutral Evil (wants you to believe he is Neutral Good).
- Reason: Humbert is perhaps one of the most well-known unreliable narrators in literature itself. As the protagonist and narrator of Lolita, Humbert tries to convince you that he isn't a pedophilic rapist, but that the child he is preying on is actually a manipulative seductress driving him into ruin. He has a good number of the readers fooled, so I believe this trope works better for him than any other I can think of.
for Eraqus.
1st draft for Palutena's rework.
Palutena, Goddess of Light (Lady Palutena, Pretty Palutena, Professor Palutena, Know-It-All Palutena, Goddess of Obvious, Goddess of Light)

- Greater Goddess
- Symbol: Her staff
- Theme Music: The Return of Palutena
; Boss Fight 2 (Kid Icarus: Uprising)
- Alignment: Lawful Good (Chaotic Evil when possessed by the Chaos Kin)
- Portfolio: Hot Goddess of Light, Gold and White Are Divine, doesn't like being called ma'am, Light Is Good (unless when possessed by the Chaos Kin), Genki Girl, The Gadfly, Cute Clumsy Girl, Lethal Chef, Forced to Fight Pit Under the Chaos Kin's Control
- Domains: Light, Attractiveness, Power
- Allies: Pit, Viridi (bordering on Friendly Enemy), Cosmos, Athena, Zelda, Liara T'soni, Lucina, Angelo
- Enemies: The Chaos Kin, Hades (both the one from her universe and the other one), Medusa Gorgon, Hela, that other Medusa, Ganondorf, Gods that specialize in Demonic Possession
- Rival: Solid Snake
- Odd Friendship: The Nasuverse Medusa
- Opposes: Panty Anarchy
- Many divine beings are known for having great power. Some are also known for their great beauty. As the Court of the Gods needed someone that is not only powerful but also associated with light, they decided to give the title to Palutena since she's already hailed as that in her home world. This decision was fueled by how she continues to be referred to by that title even in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Palutena is pleased to know that she's recognized as such, since she takes pride in the light.
- Pit was surprised to see that she has ascended. She had this to say to him:
- She is not allowed in the kitchens of the House of Food after this
happened. She can't really blame the ones in charge, since she can't toss the blame for that incident on anyone other than herself.
- Thanks to this
◊, some deities have started to pair her up with Lucina. When this was presented to them, Lucina was completely flabbergasted at how that moment was recorded. She insisted that the whole thing was an accident and that it shouldn't be used as prove of anything. Palutena thinks it's Actually Pretty Funny, but it also shouldn't be used to suggest anything romantic between them.
- Palutena was surprised to meet up with Athena considering that they shared some things in common. Palutena hopes that this Athena won't indulge in the same actions that a certain other incarnation did in one world.
- Naturally, she wasn't happy to hear that the Hades from her world was in the Pantheon. She was even less thrilled when she found out that there was another Hades. She also learned that the latter can take on another form when he decides to get serious. Unfortunately, as much as he's less malevolent than others, Palutena found the latter form of Hades kind of a bore.
- A similar thing happened after she encountered two different Medusas. She doesn't like either of them and has been making sure they don't cause a lot of trouble. In particular, Medusa Gorgon attracted quite a bit of vitriol from Palutena due to her being The Sociopath. The only reason why things didn't get really hairy is because Medusa knows what Palutena did to the one from her world and wants to avoid that same fate.
- However, when Pit told her about a different Medusa that wasn't as bad as the others, she decided to meet up with her. Following the initial meeting with Rider, Palutena gets along rather decently with her. It helps that she's able to avoid turning people into stone and is a Punch-Clock Villain at worst.
- She ended up getting possessed by something known as the Chaos Kin back in her own world. Thankfully, she was freed from its control by Pit. Given what had happened during the time she was possessed, she doesn't like gods that specialize in Demonic Possession.
- Has taken part of the Smash tournament with a moveset that is more diverse compared to the other participants. She is only allowed to choose four different moves at a time before battles though. Recently, she's been forced to combine some of her moves together due to no longer being allowed to choose.
- Speaking of the Smash tournament, Pit can access a secret taunt to ask her for aid, communicating with her and Viridi. When Solid Snake heard the news, he was not amused that they took his job at codecs
. Palutena likes the idea of relaying information to Pit on who he's fighting (provided it's not her), but she can understand why he'd be upset.
- Speaking of the Smash tournament, Pit can access a secret taunt to ask her for aid, communicating with her and Viridi. When Solid Snake heard the news, he was not amused that they took his job at codecs
- Although she wasn't ascended when it happened, she was present alongside other Nintendo deities
◊ when they mourned the passing of a certain man.
- Like Viridi, Palutena wasn't amused to hear that one Panty Anarchy has been trying to seduce Pit. For one thing, Panty is a late teenager while Pit is still a minor (by angel years). And second... she has no standards whatsoever.
- She has been offered the services of Angelo himself, seeing her as a worthy Goddess to serve, and recognizing her mind control was something that his crush Jessica was forced through once. She just playfully chuckles at his offers, but still has him on standby should his help be needed.

Everyone look at my sandbox
Something with the Chaos Kin. Something tells me that it returning didn’t get a good reaction from her at all
@carduinal-cyn The trope isn't necessarily something the other characters literally run away from, just a Juggernaut they can't possibly harm...
And reading your example I noticed you said they temporally got him out of their hair... There is no getting Goddess Len out of your hair, not unless she let's you. Still I might look at Jojo's page tomorrow to see who you're talking about.
@Crownless Mimic It may be a fan game but deserves to be trated with all the respect of any canon title. It's just that good an complex in my opinion plus it hardly uses any Mario elements.
to Fergo, but please add his other half.
